Thomas Rex Beverly has released his 4th Rocky Mountain collection, 'Northern Rockies: Active Nature'. This collection gets you over 6 hours of lively ambiences, from boisterous dawn choruses to peaceful sunny afternoons. You can hear multitudes of birds - with kinglets, robins, warblers, loons, juncos, sparrows, and more - as well as mischievous squirrels, swaying trees, and twittering bats. You'll even get a few recordings that last well over a half hour, giving you all the transitions you could hope for!

  • Surround At the Show 2 features 54 24bit / 96 kHz 5.1 Surround Sound Crowd Effects with a large selection of mostly female audience cheers and swells. Recorded in 3 premier locations in Los Angeles: A large Stadium, a Traveling Circus and a large Political Rally. Recorded with discrete Quad microphones, and mastered in 5.1 surround (L-C-R-Ls-Rr-Lf Embedded .WAV format). Recording locations are all from center of the crowd to create the widest possible sound. 'Surround At the Show 2 5.1 + Stereo' by 2496 Sound Effects is their second installment of crowds cheering, clapping, whistling, and swelling in excitement. This library was recorded at the Staples Arena, a traveling circus, and a political rally in Los Angeles, offering you immersive 5.1 recordings from various situations - from large surges and emphatic encores to small hoots and single cheers. Vegetable Murder – Crush & Crunch
 
'Vegetable Murder – Crush & Crunch' by Fox Audio Post-Production is a quick pack of sound effects made from torturing poor, little veggies. In it you can find 42 sounds of crunching, cracking, crushing, peeling, cutting, and biting carrot sticks, celery stalks, onions, and peppers. Each sound is on its own individual track, and these high-quality sounds can, of course, be pitched down for a more monstrous effect. If you need gore and bone-crushing sounds fast, give this one a listen.

Using sounds of instruments and metal impacts, these effects have been slowed down and delayed to create an assortment of textures that are often unrecognizable from their source material. For the price, you can't go wrong! If you want your audience to feel like they're experiencing an altered state of mind, this one should do it.
 
Coffee Shop

    Coffee Shop features the acoustical surroundings of a cosy bar in the Old Town of a central European city. The full version of the library encompasses a complete day at the bar and is suitable for all kinds of appropriate sceneries as well as source material for elevated sound design (coffee machine, grinder, pouring liquids etc.).
    The material contains various activities of waitress and cleaning persons that arrive in the early morning to prepare the bar for opening. Furthermore several long takes of the typical coffee shop athmosphere of chatting and laughing guests at different times of the day are included.
    All relevant waitress activities are recorded from at least two different spots so that the desired sound is available as close-up or with the characteristic ambience of a coffee shop. Detunized has released a new library, and as usual, they took a whole other approach in its design. 'Coffee Shop' features the sounds and ambiences of a European cafe. With 210 minutes of recordings, you'll receive cozy ambiences, close-ups of coffee grinders, liquids and espresso makers, and sounds you may have forgotten, like cleaning tables, creating frozen drinks, heating up sandwiches, and shop door sounds. You even get sparse room tones of the appliances running! If you need a well-rounded library for your cafe scenes, look no further.

Fragile! Glass Smashing SFX
 
  • There’s something thrilling about the sound of glass breaking. Whether it’s the danger involved or the difficulty of the recording process, glass breaking sound effects remain a very difficult but useful tool in the sound editors library.

    Over the course of a few years and several recording sessions of various size, this collection of glass breaking sounds came to be. From small cups, plates, and bottles to large jugs, jars and windows, the sounds found on display here are designed to convey the violence and danger associated with glass breaking. Be careful; they are loud!
