Magic Sounds from Real Chemical Reactions

No digital fakery here. Every sound in MAGIC – ALCHEMY began as a live experiment — alcohol burning in jars, butane growling through pipes, fuses igniting, water swirling in glass. These are true-to-life textures, captured in a lab-grade recording setup. The result? Magical sound with depth, realism, and spark..

Short, Sharp, and Ready to Use

These are not long, cinematic flourishes. This library is about immediacy — short, dry, punchy magic effects that are easy to slot into your project. Ideal for game asset design, magical feedback sounds, and trailer moments where clarity counts.

SSL58 The Boring Doors Library

The Boring Doors Library Vol. 1 is a collection of everyday door sounds, recorded and edited with an unusually high level of precision and care. Over the course of two years, we’ve captured a wide variety of opens, closes, creaks, and mechanical movements of classic doors, using top-tier equipment in highly controlled environments.

As a post-production studio, we record doors all the time — because no matter how boring they seem, you can never have enough. That’s the spirit behind this collection: essential, consistent, and endlessly useful in real-world post workflows.

Each sound has been recorded with minimal background noise and treated using the best noise reduction tools available, always preserving the natural character of the source. All files include multiple variations and come in two versions in the stereo file:
– A lightly mastered version, ready to drop into your timeline.
– A raw, unprocessed version, with no EQ or dynamic treatment.

On top of that, the library features meticulous metadata, structured to the highest standards of sound effects organization. It fully adheres to the UCS system, but goes further — incorporating custom subcategories within UCS for even clearer, more intuitive search and categorization.

Clean, reliable, and designed by professionals who use this material every day — The Boring Doors Library Vol. 1 is the definitive toolbox for any sound editor working with doors.

We recorded around 80 beautiful tracks, 96Khz and 24 bits HD. As always, top quality recordings specially designed for film audio projects.

Obsidian Magic Needles

Have you ever heard a material that sounds like nothing else? Listen to the magical timbre of obsidian needles. Obsidian is a volcanic stone that, in very rare places on earth, solidifies into needle shape that produces a very unique sound, purer than metal and smoother than glass.

I collected hundreds of these needles and I built 3 chimes with the needles that sounded best. Sound effects were recorded both with Sanken CO-100K and Sennheiser MKH 8040. All recordings and processed sounds contain a lot of ultrasonic frequencies, thus can be pitched with a great flexibility.

Have a listen to the unheard and create magic, ice, glass or any new sound effect you want.

FEATURES:

• Dozens of chime recordings
• 200 needles individually sampled
• 40 ready-to-use processed sound effects

SPECS:

• 192 KHz/24 bit
• Metadata UCS-compliant
