We have 22 new sound libraries on A Sound Effect – all with unique approaches to their sound sources.
You can hear the textured sounds of transduced and twisted metal, sci-fi UI elements, cinematic explosions, analog feedback, KYMA and Eurorack Modules, impacts through a Chorus Echo, and cartoon accents.
You can also hear recordings of a Chevy pickup truck and Volvo hatchback, outdoor footsteps, casino game dealer calls, money handling, drawers and doors, creature footsteps, various wildlife and washing machines, as well as ambiences of Northern Lithuania, 1700s barns and manors, and London’s museums, Underground and boxing gyms. 'Metallitronic' by Noise Jockey Sound Design has nearly three hours' worth of metallic membranes and objects excited by electronic signals. It was created using advanced synthesis techniques played back through various transducers into cymbals, gongs, bowls, steel plates, prefab metal buildings and other resonant metallic objects - close-miked in stereo with extended-frequency-range mics.
'Historical Houses & Barns' by UGRI SOUND was recorded over a 3-year period in authentic historical houses and barns. This includes 1700s peasant village houses, 1700s manor, 1850s farm, 1900s manor and 1930s cottage. These are recorded for film projects so they have the right cinematic feel, dynamic and variation. The houses were full of period props, so the recordings are rich and have lots of details that take you to the right time.
'Boxing Gym' by If a Tree Falls was recorded at two gyms in London and a children's gym in Newcastle, presenting a wide range of sounds. It has a variety of punches at various strengths, multiple perspectives and on different equipment, to include punching bags, pads, speed balls, single hits and combos. It also has body falls, footwork and ambiences.
'Twisted Metal' by Carma Studio is a new library with over 260 metallic textures. From low-end dark atmospheres to high brittle sizzles, it has hits, bangs, rattles, screams, moans, contact scrapes, iced contractions, stretching and cracking - all raw and unprocessed for your own creative designing. These are the tortured metal sounds you have been looking for!
'Casino Game - Roulette' by John Silke has all the sounds you need for a basic roulette app with voice files from 0-36, odd, even, first twelve, neighbour bets and more. It also has various interaction sounds and real-world roulette wheel sounds - and the files can be concatenated depending on the gambling results.
'Sinematic 2' by SoundMorph brings you the best of the best in designed and source files, more than doubling the size of the first release! This library was created over the last 2 years using extensive high end recording techniques, KYMA, and Euro Rack Modular setups. This library was created by and in collaboration with Thibault Csukonyi, Boris Haladjian and Real Cardinal.
'Chevrolet Duramax 2500Hd' by NoiseFloor FX includes 106 sounds of exterior, interior and on-board perspectives of pass bys, shifting, and Foley of the Chevy Duramax 2500HD pickup truck. With different performances of each action, you can add unique details to your film, commercial and video games.
'Cinematic Bundle' by MatiasMacSD will get you big and energetic planet explosions, sounds inspired by crime/investigation/espionage movies and series. You'll hear impact sweeteners, tense elements, beautiful atmospheric soundscapes, sci-fi textures, dynamic transitions and dark guitars.
'Baltic Forest' by 3MAZE is a collection of ambient recordings captured over one year in a private forest in Northern Lithuania. It has 53 carefully recorded exterior ambiences made during summer, autumn, winter and spring. Hear ambiences from the bright sound of native birds in spring and summer to the freezing cold (-20 Celsius) snow storms and tree movements of autumn and winter - sometimes recording in knee-deep snow.
'Sci-Fi Interface Construction Kit Vol. I' by Sonic Bat introduces a wide array of clean-cut futuristic sound effects perfectly designed, edited and fine-tuned for your projects. It has varied types of sounds, ranging from zaps, bleeps, wubs and small harmonies, you're guaranteed to find something that will bring your User Interfaces to life, be it on videogames, movies, TV shows and apps.
'Museum Crowds' by The Sound Outside gets you crowd walla recordings from the National Gallery, Science Museum, National History Museum, Tate Modern and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. You'll hear crowds of 5-200 people in these reverberant spaces.

'Steps: Dry Grass & Shrubs' by PMSFX is a collection of 226 footsteps on dry grass, shrubs, twigs, dry plants, gravel, rock and soil - with long scuffs, skids and drags. All sound effects have been recorded in the Spanish mountains, far from city noises and other extraneous sounds.
'Sounds On The Underground' by The Sound Outside has 40 minutes of stealth DPA4060s recordings from the London Underground. It has 15 minutes of platform ambiences with passengers, announcements, and multiple arrivals and departures, plus 25 minutes onboard the Circle and Bakerloo lines.
'Money (ST)' by The Sound Pack Tree is a sound pack full of money with sounds of falling, rolling and spinning coins, handling and counting coins and bills. It also has sounds of rummaging, pouring, digging in money piles, stacking money sacks and more.
