M3 Grease Gun Recorded Source

This library contains the source recordings of an M3 Grease Gun using several microphones at 4 different distances!

Perspectives include:

  • Attached – 1 Microphone attached to the weapon to capture the mechanical cycling of the bolt!
  • Near – 3 Microphones placed near the weapon, within 10 yards.
  • Mid – 3 Microphones placed a bit further away, usually 20 – 60 yards.
  • Far – 3 Microphones placed at a distance, usually 100 – 300 yards.


Also included are “comps” which consist of all perspectives assembled together for ease of use!

“Cartridge & Casings Shell” contains 16 different categories of impacting casings shell that bounce and roll on the floor.

Many different materials: tiled floor, wooden floor, carpeted floor, asphalt, concrete, earthenware, stone, sand, mud, grass, house stairs and outdoor stairs, different types of metal, sofa, plastic, tables, ceramic sinks …
These cases are used for civilian and military firefighting weapons: carbines, sniper rifles, automatic machine guns, revolvers and pocket handguns.
