Recording of a John Deere 6330 farm tractor from 2010 with a 125 horsepower 4.5 litre 4-cylinder diesel engine.
The John Deere 6330 farm tractor sound bundle includes 246 clips in 22.95 gigabytes of audio. It catalogs the sound of a 2010 version of this American tractor and its 125 horsepower 4.5 litre 4-cylinder diesel engine.
A total of 12 synchronized takes share both onboard and exterior field recordings. The 12 onboard perspectives gather sound from the exhaust, engine, and interior (including an Ambisonic perspective) as the tractor drives with gearshifts, ramps, and steady RPMs. These takes are mixed down into three custom stereo renders for easy all-in-one use. 7 exterior perspectives present the tractor driving from slow to fast speeds as it departs, passes, and arrives. Also available are idling, turning on and off, as well as performed effects of buttons, levers, windshield wipers, and more.
The package is delivered with impulse responses of the interior cabin, Reaper and Pro Tools mixing sessions, and full professional metadata embedded into every clip.
Junk Cars is a collection of on-board multi-channel recordings of old, barely-functioning European cars. The first car in the library is a 1995 Opel/Vauxhall/Holden Astra with a 1.6 liter Petrol engine, a broken exhaust and in a very sorry state. It wasn’t roadworthy when I found it, but with a little help from a car mechanic we managed to get it on the road.

Get the sounds of a moped with the Keeway TX50 Moped Sound Effects Library. This model is from 2011, and features 6 gears and electric start function. The Library contains 22 sound files (External, Foley, OnBoard). External sounds such as passbys and approaches are stereo files, and Foley recordings are in mono.
OnBoard recordings include 2 different channels: Engine and Exhaust. You can layer and mix these 2 channels of OnBoard sounds – they will line up nicely in your DAW or audio editor.
Kenworth 900 is a detailed sound library containing multi-channel recordings of the various parts the truck has to offer including truck driving tracks with both exterior and interior tracks and interior and exterior doors, hisses, gearshifts and plenty other details of the truck. Everything was recorded at 24 bits and 96 kHz with a Zaxcom Nomad 12 and AKG C451E/CK1, Schoeps CCM4 and the Sennheiser MKH 416.
A recording of a fantastic Koenigsegg Agera with a 4.7 litres twin supercharged V8 and about 900 hps. It consists of seven channels, exhaust left and right, three different engine channels and interior left and right. The recording contains start, stop, idle, blips, revving at constant rpms, door slam, accelerations, decelerations, driving and a surround drive by. The recording length is 32 min 33 s.
This Sound Effect Library features a hundred recordings of Kramer KL(11) Oldtimer Tractor. The tractor was built in 1955 in Germany. It is a four stroke single cylinder engine. No cabine and the Diesel motor delivers 11HP. On two bonus recordings a Lanz LK30 potato spinner was attached to the tractor.
Recording positions include Exterior (AB, M/S & mono), On Board (At the fan-belt [sch-sch], at the cylinder-head [tok-tok], at the exhaust [pop-pop] and in a little distance to the side – also stereo-mixdowns of all mic-positions for quick editing) as well as some SFX recordings with a contact mic. The tracor performed start, stop, on, off, idle, driving and various constant speeds / rpms as well as ramps, accelerating & gear shifts. All edited and mastered for quick browsing and easy matching of the different events.
This tractor is still being used, so if you are looking for authentic farming machinery sounds from today or from the past or want to create a unique sounding fantasy vehicle – this one is for you.
Kyma Ambiences [USO003] is the third sound effects bundle created by Matteo Milani.
The generation of these “Artificial Reality Ambiences” starts entirely in Symbolic Sound Kyma from the processing of white and pink noise by filtering – in the time/spectral domains – and convolving these sources with custom FM, additive, formant and granular synthesis. The composition’s resource of sound material is drawn solely from these processed stochastic sound elements: coloured noise is a raw material already full of life and can be sculpted into a variety of temporal forms, movements and textures.
The interaction with Kyma was typical of a composer who explored a device’s potential for sound transformation like a musical instrument. The goal was to obtain an organic and acoustic quality using only a restricted sound source, in order to evoke real spatial characteristics attached to each invented sound.
The “Kyma Ambiences vol.1” sound effects collection is published @ 96kHz (native) – and is also available as dual-layer separated “Elements”, suitable for recombinant stratification, varispeed and spatial positioning in the surround field (for a total of 112 files @ 96kHz).
Los Angeles is well-known for having some of the largest and most traveled freeways in the United States.
The L.A. Freeways sound effects library captures the traffic ambience on the massive freeways that run through the Greater L.A. area – 3 hours of recordings in total!
Multiple perspectives were recorded, from close vehicle pass bys to distant traffic ambience captured from city parks, surrounding hillsides, tunnels and underpasses. Traffic types range from fast pass bys, to slow and congested traffic.

This library features recordings of 7 different parking garages in Los Angeles, including the Beverly Center, Glendale Galleria, a busy Hollywood Mall, a busy Burbank Mall, the Sherman Oaks Galleria, The Americana, and The Grove. In these recordings you will hear car by's, horns, people walking and chattering, car alarms, Ambulance sirens, and lots of nice low rumble.
Around 70 minutes of ambiences are included in total.
All sounds in this collection are in stereo 24bit 96khz Broadcast Wave format. Files are in a zip file, which includes a PDF with detailed metadata.
Recording of the 1996 AvtoVAZ Lada Niva VAZ-21214 with a 1.8 Liter, 4 cylinder inline engine.
The 1996 AvtoVAZ Lada Niva VAZ-21214 sound bundle includes 245 sound fx in 21.95 gigabytes of audio. The Niva was known by many names: Lada 4×4, Lada Sport, Lada Talga, Bognor Diva, and Lada Cossack. The collection shares the sound of the Soviet off road vehicle performing a variety of maneuvers with its 1.8 Liter, 4 cylinder inline engine.
The library gathers 12 synchronized takes of onboard and exterior driving. The exterior perspectives depict slow, medium, and fast driving from 2 positions as the car idles, departs, arrives, and passes by. Microphones were mounted at the exhaust, in the engine, and the interior (including an Ambisonic perspective) to record driving at various speeds and with ramps. The collection also shares performed effects of doors, seatbelts, and other effects, along with custom mixes of the onboard perspectives.
The collection also provides Pro Tools and Reaper mixing sessions, full professional embedded metadata, and metadata keyword import files in 7 languages.

The Lamborghini Aventador sound library 366 field recordings from a 2014 luxury Italian vehicle totaling 27.48 gigabytes. The clips capture the sound of the 690 horsepower 6.5 L L539 V12 engine with 7-speed ISR semi-automatic transmission.
The collection features 19 synchronized takes of onboard and exterior perspectives. The onboard channels (12 channels) offer 11 perspectives of fast, medium, and slow driving from microphones placed at the exhaust, in the engine, and inside the cabin. The 10 exterior perspectives collect 21 channels of the sports car starting, departing, passing, arriving, and stopping. Performances include driving at steady RPMs, with gearshifts, and with ramps. There are also tracks of steady idling, with blips, and steadies in neutral.
Every track is embedded with 18+ fields of detailed metadata. The collection is with Pro Tools and Reaper sessions with all fx pre-aligned to allow editors to begin mixing and editing immediately.

The Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 sound library includes 17 takes from an exotic Italian sports car. The collection gathers the sound of its 610 horsepower 5.2 L V10 engine with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with 340 sound fx in 21.98 gigabytes.
The bundle includes a total of 32 channels of synchronized audio. The 12 onboard perspectives (13 channels) feature microphones mounted at the exhaust, in the interior, and in the engine. They capture driving at slow, medium, and fast speeds with steady RPMs, gearshifts, and ramps. The 9 exterior perspectives (19 channels) showcase departures, approaches, passing by, starting, and turning off while driving on straightaways and around corners.
Also included is an Altiverb impulse response, embedded metadata in every clip, custom stereo mixes of the onboard perspectives, and Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with each take aligned for easy mixing and editing.
Recording of a Lancia Delta Integrale HF 16v rally car from 1989 with a turbocharged 2-litre Lancia 16v 4 cylinder engine and Garrett T3 turbocharger producing 200 bhp (149 kW) at 5500 RPM and a maximum speed of 137 mph (220 km/h).
The Lancia Delta Integrale HF 16v rally car sound fx collection includes 198 clips in 16.03 gigabytes. It showcases the sound of a 1989 version of the Italian car and its turbocharged 2-litre Lancia 16v 4 cylinder engine and Garrett T3 turbocharger producing 200 bhp (149 kW) at 5500 RPM and a maximum speed of 137 mph (220 km/h).

This is a 4-channel recording of an old Toyota Land Cruiser driving on dirt roads. It was recorded by George Vlad and Daan Hendriks while attending the 2016 Sonic Mmabolela annual workshop in Limpopo Province, South Africa. 4 DPA 4060 mics were attached to the vehicle’s body to capture engine compartment, exhaust and wheel sounds.
The vehicle was used for game drives around the reserve and had no windshield, windows or roof as can be seen in the photos. It was powered by a 4 litre/155 hp Toyota 3F petrol engine that did an excellent job despite its age. It also sounded pretty wild for an untuned utility vehicle.
The recordings cover a couple of failed ignition attempts, a proper ignition with the car starting, some idling, constant driving, revving, some reversing and then the engine stopping. The 4 different perspectives cover the essential sources of sound and offer a lot of flexibility when designing vehicle sounds for any purpose.

Land Rover Defender FX sound library. In this library, you can find numerous sounds of tdi 300 (2.4 litre, 113 HP) diesel engine of this iconic 4×4 vehicle. Apart from engine sounds, there are sounds of the interior of the vehicle like: switches, vents, ventilators, door opening, hand/parking brake, window opening, etc. Recorded in two positions, near field and midfield. These sounds are in sync so you can mix them together if needed. There are recorded “room tones” of vehicle: in drive, stationary-engine off, while raining, on a windy day, etc.

This library features recordings made from a Laurin Koster 32ft 4 cylinder engine Sailboat.
This library contains docked harbor ambiences while windy and calm, water movements, sail foley, engine ignition starts and cut offs, multiple different RPMs while taxiing out of the harbor, sailing, on-deck atmospheres from different perspectives and contact mic recordings of different unique sounds of the sailboat. Contains everything you need to construct a film, game or commercial from a sailboat’s perspective.
The LAX Aircraft library features descending aircraft flyovers at Los Angeles International Airport. One advantage of LAX is that it’s nestled in the city, making it easy to stand directly under very low flying airplanes to capture a great sound.
A range of aircraft was recorded for this release, including the Airbus A330, Boeing 737, 747, and Bombardier 800.
Two different microphone positions were used: One facing the oncoming aircraft, and the other pointing in the opposite direction to capture the flyover and further decent as the aircraft lands.
Learning Space is the go-to collection for clean and constant school environment room tones and ambiences.
Learning Space has over 1 hour / 2.2 GB worth of material that covers a whole large air-conditioned modern school building and also a small air-conditionless old abandoned school building. The length of the room tones are around 3 minutes and all the room tones are calibrated to -30 LUFS.
The whole library was recorded with a custom designed very low self-noise (4.5 dB) ORTF rig that gives you only the noise of the room and minimal noise from the recording equipment itself.
The variety in the sounds of the room tones gives you a great palette to experiment with various sound design tools so you can create e.g. spaceship ambiences, drones and otherworldly textures.
You get the sounds in two formats: 96 kHz, 24 bit and in 44.1 KHz, 16 bit, for more convenient ways of utilizing the sounds in games and other media.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
