Sound effects and recordings of various surfaces, textures, objects and elements – soft, hard, organic, wooden, stone, metallic and lots more
If you're after electromagnetic sounds, this library delivers: Captured with The LOM Elektrosluch 3+ throughout 2015. The sounds heard with this special piece of equipment are other-worldly, ghostly and oftentimes, scary. If you haven't managed to get your hands on one yet, or missed out while pre-orders we're presenting this library as the definitive Elektrosluch 3+ sound. Hear the analog and digital: screaming whirls of electronic servo motors, the intense hum and whoosh of new and old transformers, and the pained glitching of processors and data paths of a circuit-bent Furby.
We have designed this library to be as useful and versatile as possible to be used in every application, from television, music sampling, theatre, to film. We recorded, edited and hand-picked a selection of science fiction-inspired electrical props in order to obtain the best sound sources for this library. All sounds have not been processed through special effects processors, they are simply the sounds of Electromagnetic Fields, recorded with a LOM Elektrosluch 3+.
Full: The complete library.
Micro: A cut down library featuring some of our favourite sounds from the complete collection.
Transformers, Televisions, Motors, Servos, Hard Drives, Vintage and New Electrical Technologies, Circuit Bent Props, Cameras, Telephones, Computers, Disk Drives, Remote Controls, Toys, Power Supply Units, Fairy Lights, and Vacuum Cleaners.
Chain Ferry features the remarkable sounds of a 100 year old ferry with a specific drive system. The ferry pulls along a strong chain lying at the ground of the river to cross. This is achieved by a clever combination of 3 drive wheels that guide the chain and prevent it from dropping to the ground.
The Library contains several complete audio takes of the ferry in action – from departure to arrival. This encompasses engine start, engine idle, loading ramp noises and bangs plus a lot of chain rattling from various perspectives. The sounds are recorded aboard and from both sides of the river so that the entire scenery can be covered acoustically.
Moving Loops by Badlands Sound features 100+ sounds of different objects that rustle, rattle, or shake that is 30 seconds long and loopable.
This library is great for creating textures or adding additional sounds to earthquakes or things moving around inside a vehicle at high speeds.
These sounds were recorded in 96k / 24 Bit using professional equipment including Sennheiser microphones and Sound Devices 702t. The processing for this library is very minimal, only including De-Noise and minor EQ.
*Pop, Pop, Poppoppoppopoppop
Two Guys, three microphones, and a mountain of bubble wrap. What else to do but record the knuckle popping, transient heavy, tiny air explosion created by the ever calming sound of Bubble Wrap. This library was recorded in collaboration another fan of Bubble Wrap, Adam Carl. Microphones used was the Sennheiser MKH60, Sennheiser MKH8050- both exported as mono .wav files. The stereo microphone used and exported was the Audio Technica AT2022. How many variations of popping can you create? Between the two versions included in this pack, original and reduced reverb, 2483+ sounds per pack over three microphones 828 sounds per microphone, or 4966 Combined are packed waiting to be popped!
Why did we include almost 3 hours of total sound in a bubble wrap library? When you include the squeaking of blowing on the corners or rubbing two bubbles between fingers, clicking a pen pops, popping using a drill, and even filling the bubble with water using a syringe. Other secret sounds include popping inside a metal trash can- similar to sounds of bullets ricocheting off metal, popping wrapped in tin foil, and stretching.
All sounds are exported either in mono (Sennheiser) or stereo (Audio Technica) and meta-data tagged and updated using the Universal Category System in Soundminer, Basehead, and Soundly.
Happy Popping

Huge hydraulic lift working hard.
metall impacts / clanks / servo motor / jammed / hydraulic burst
26 Tracks / 2ch / 5 mins / 96kHz 24Bit / Metadata
This album is a recording of a huge hydraulic lift in my garage that is made to lift 4 cars with up to 8 tons of weight. Recorded with an Olympus field recorder that has a omnidirectional polar pattern center mic for more bass. ;) Except for a little bit of editing and a little bit of leveling here an there the recordings are not processed.
The vividly descriptive and meticulously chosen SoundMiner metadata that has been embedded into each of the 217 files allows you to save minutes, even hours, of painful searching through libraries, trying to find that elusive sound! Now it is easier than ever, due to metadata that has been crafted with humans, and not search engines, in mind!
The main library consists of: rummaging through broken glass with a metallic object, smashing broken shards of glass, breaking different size windows and pieces of glass, and hitting thick glass at different intensities without breaking it.
The bonus library contains 21 different variations of a glass bottle breaking on rocks and two variations of a bottle bouncing off the rocks without breaking. The length of all the files ranges between 1 and 3 seconds long.
This library was recorded outside on a very quiet day, with no wind, insects, birds or traffic. iZotope RX was then used to eliminate the small amounts of background noise that was present. As a result, all the recordings are dry, clean and have no reverb.
This library is useful for, but not limited to: Feature Films, TV Series, Short Films, YouTube Videos, Games, and more!

WHAT SOUND PROFESSIONALS SAY:
Victor Mercader – AAA Sound Designer (Apex Legends)
“I find myself continuously using Slava’s SFX libraries to blend it’s pristine and detailed sound designs into my own sounds. They always add that cutting edge I am missing and make my sound designs more unique and pristine.”
Enos Desjardins – Sound Designer/Sound Effects Editor (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Mirror)
“Slava has been creating some really cool libraries which I find myself using time and again. Really high quality recordings to start with but then the cool processing he has used for example in his cinematic whoosh libraries really stand out. They are not just your standard generic whoosh sounds but are loaded with character and have a unique feel to them that is really fresh and cuts through in the nicest of ways.”
Bjørn Jacobsen – AAA Sound Designer (CyberPunk 2077, HITMAN, DARQ)
“Slava has for several years made high quality sound effects for me to play with. I use his sound libraries across multiple projects as lego blocks of my creations.”
Ginno Legaspi – SoundBytes Music Magazine
“‘Evil Strings Tortured Wires’ is an all-scary affair with plenty of really good, nightmarish, imaginative sounds from authentic materials, like double bass, dulcimer strings and metal wires. Sound-wise, this sample pack is clean and carefully recorded. The editing and processing of sounds is top notch, with sound design techniques applied very professionally. Overall, very gritty and not for the faint of heart.”
Yarron Katz – AAA Composer and Sound Designer
“Slava makes some wonderful libraries. He’s relatively new on the scene and his libraries have come to critical acclaim. He takes some general ideas, like whooshes and he injects some extremely revolutionary and innovative ideas to them, so you’re not getting another whoosh library – you’re getting something very unique, very fresh. He brings some wonderful ideas to the table.”

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
