  • Drones & Moods Performed Orchestral Percussion Play Track 523+ sounds included, 505 mins total $119

Sounds for this library were recorded in amazing sounding film scoring studio and performed on orchestral set of top-end Kolberg percussion instruments. The intention was to perform organic sound effects resonated by musical instruments and not regular musical samples.

Sounds were generated with a few different rubbers, mallets and a bow. They were performed to be used for abstract sound design elements, as well as emotional big creatures vocalizations. You will find there many growls and moans, which can be used for example as designed whale vocalizations.

Recordings were done on microphones with extended frequency range: Schoeps CMC6XT, Sanken CO-100k and Trance Inducer (which also records up to 50kHz), which makes them ideal source for pitch-shifting.

Please note: Pitch shifted files in the demo are presented only to show potential of those recordings and aren't included in the library. No additional processing was done on all sounds.

  • KLAP Sound took a piano and tortured it, dismembered it and finally destroyed it—and recorded the whole process. For the making of this library, they used several tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, knives, and saws, as well as props like dirt, send, gravel, forks and other sharp objects. The results are raw sounds of foley with musical rings, harmonic tails and creepy vibes that are dry yet barely edited for your own enjoyment.

  • I went there, so you don't have to. The nerv wrecking sounds of a fork scraped across a plate, the annoying scratches of fingernails on a coated pot are as well part of this library as many similar and sometimes less unpleasant sounds.

The major part of this library has been recorded in 192kHz with Earthworks QTC 50 microphones. Frequencies up to over 90 kHz are captured with plenty of the noises and allow for decent pitch and bend fun. Plastic, wood, metal, glass, porcelaine, syntetic leather and rubber has been used to perform squeaks, screeches, squeals, creaks, groans and scratches. Each material has been dragged and rubbed against each other in different speed and with varying pressure to make sure to get multiple variations of each sound.

This versatile library is a rich resource and a starting point for creature sound design, iron weapon action, robotic and machine movements and many more. Also great for music production – check the demo. Anything that should make the audience goose bumps or sound old an tortured will profit from “QUEETSH”.

Caution: some sounds might be considered unpleasent / annoying.

  • Rock / Stone Rock Creatures Play Track 900+ sounds included, 39 mins total $79

    • In Rock Creatures, get a visceral collection of guttural and grating vocalizations from the volcanic rocks of the Davis Mountains. Scrape rhyolite with intense pressure and hear guttural screeches with vigorous, physical energy. Hear the thick weight of boulders growling and frenetic stutters of rocks performed to sound like animals. Hear textured squeaks of small stones sliding. Hear rocks rich in titanium clattering to create otherworldly harmonics perfect for creature sound design.
    • This library offers you an extensive collection of rocks painstakingly performed to bring these inanimate objects to life and transform them into intensely vocal creatures.

    2% FOR THE ENVIRONMENT:
    • Two percent of the price of this library is donated to an environmental cause, as an “artist royalty” for the planet!

    KEY FEATURES:
    • Rocks performed to sound like creature vocalizations
    • Resonant scrapes with shifting harmonics
    • Small, mid-sized, and large rocks
    • Thick grating boulders sliding
    • Squeaking scrapes
    • Titanium rocks rattling and clacking
    • Scraping, grinding, and rasping stones
    • Types of rocks/minerals: rhyolite, quartz, and in unidentified rock I marked as “titanium rock” in the metadata due to its high rating on the Moh’s Hardness Scale.
    • Combine these rock vocalizations with the massive impacts in SD10 Falling Rock or the resonance of SD02 Ringing Rocks for infinite creative possibilities.
    • The pitch shifted demo was made from excerpts of the normal demo at half speed.
    • Please note: the “Pitch Shifted Demo” was made to demonstrate the potential of the sounds in this library. However, Rock Creatures does NOT include pitch shifted sounds, only mastered field recordings.
    TEXT MARKERS:
•Named markers are included in each file to help find interesting events in files with multiple variations.
•Markers are included in the Soundminer and BWAV description fields starting with the prefix “Marker Text”.
