THE GLITCH SFX TOOLKIT
In this library, you will find electronic sounds that can be used on a variety of applications such as Sci-Fi projects, computer glitches, faulty equipment, robots and much more.
All of the files were designed from scratch – no pre-existing sounds were used – and they are sourced from actual computer errors, generating original sounds.
Included, you will find a folder called “TELEVISION_&_RADIO”. The files in that folder have an EQ applied to them to simulate the effect of the sounds coming out of those pieces of equipment. This will save you time – you don’t have to worry about processing them and can drag & drop them into your projects.
Glitches is a collection of 500 error sounds for use as communications interference, future computer malfunctions, data processing, Sci-Fi weapon elements, degraded circuits, out of control droids and any scenario which calls for the sound of equipment failure.
Sourced from analog feedback loops, electromagnetic field recordings, databent computer files and abstract tonal textures then processed with granular synthesis techniques, you’ll find all the hums, buzzes, crackles, static and noise needed to construct a convincing Glitched-out soundscape.
We’ve dug deep into the circuit paths of electronic equipment using signal tracers to scan and record electronic noise and electromagnetic fields (EMF) emanating from electronic equipment.
This third installment in a series of three sound libraries focuses on the elements of power sources with noise drones of electrical power, 60Hz cycle hum, dirty ground buzz with static, glitch, pops, snaps, crackles & electronic interference including low-end & pulsing frequencies.
A collection of fine bleeps and bloops from two vintage toy synthesizers, a Major Morgan and a Stylophone.
Both synths were modified to coax some more unusual/interesting sounds out of them and the library includes some bonus designed sounds to give some inspiration to designers for the direction these sounds could be pushed in.
All sounds contain extensive metadata in both soundminer proprietary format and broadcast wave format to make finding these sounds and getting them into your project as easy as possible!
More than two years after the release of Binary Code sound library, Sound Response brings you massive (1.5GB in size) second installment – Binary Code 2, with a total of 1000 professionally designed, high quality, futuristic interface and sci-fi computer UI sound effects!

This library is a small “utility” collection of sounds great for use as Robot/Machines but also great for UI and Weapon design elements. Servos, various metal objects and analog synths were recorded as source material to create this library. The library includes raw servo recordings and meticulously performed or designed robotic/machine-like sounds.
If you own the Forge Sound Design Toolkit this library also comes with a specially curated sample map. The sample map can be loaded into the sampler for randomization and the creation of more complex sounds.
Electric Arcs and Energy is essentially two separate collections of sounds. The first, Electrical Arcs are more raw. These arc sounds can be manipulated and mangled to be used as design elements in your project. They are highly flexible and can easily be pitch-shifted -48 semitones or more. They remain remarkably useful and clean giving each sound multiple “dimensions”.
The Electrical Energy collection is a series of more specified design elements that I created – Impacts and Powerups. Meant to be used in Weapon or UI design they should be flexible enough to be used as stand-alone effects or layers in more complex sounds.
This library was designed from scratch by recording highly unconventional metal sources with a cello bow and processing them (see one example in video). Great care was taken during the recording and editing process to ensure maximum flexibility of these sounds. The recording was done at 24/192kHz using the Sennheiser MKH 2050 mic which captures frequencies up to 50kHz. All processing and design was then performed at 192kHz.
If you own the Forge Sound Design Toolkit this library also comes with a specially curated sample map. The sample map can be loaded into the sampler for randomization and the creation of more complex sounds.
We’ve dug deep into the circuit paths of electronic equipment using signal tracers to scan and record electronic noise and electromagnetic fields (EMF) emanating from electronic equipment.
This first in a series of three sound libraries focus on the feel of clocking, ticking, pulses, crystal oscillator timing and other cyclic repetition to provide a rhythmic element to the sound effect. Includes sounds of data flow with beeps, tones, glitch, pops, snaps, crackles, static noise & interference.
We’re surrounded by a range of electromagnetic frequencies undetectable to the human ear. Unique whines, hums, buzzes, bleeps & drones hidden in plain site. With the help of JrF induction pick-up microphones, I’ve recorded the EMF signal generated by a numerous electronics including synthesizers, computers, dvd players, lights, hard drives, gaming consoles and other household devices.
All sounds were recorded using the Sound Devices Mix-Pre 6 and a stereo pair of JrF induction pick-up microphones.
