This library is a continuation of my first library A Fluorescent Bulb. This contains 6 more fluorescent light hums/buzzes with nice plinks and warming sounds. For each light there is at least 2 minutes up to 5 minutes of tone, and a second file with a manipulated light switch where you get multiple plinks and buzzes. The tone of this library is a bit higher pitch than the first 6 bulbs from the first library
I’m glad to present another sound library, which includes a variety of electric welding sounds. The recording was made at various locations (garage, basement, workshop).
All sounds were recorded in high-resolution 24bit/96kHz, both at close range and on distance.
Files have meta-tags, that describe everything in more detail (UCS). This collection can also be used as a construction kit to create general atmospheres, electricity design, sci-fi, etc
Electromagnetic Design Vol. 2 contains a diverse collection of experimental ambiences gathered from a variety of sources around an Electrical Power Plant and a radio tower.
Using both condenser microphones and an electromagnetic receiver, our Audio Craftsmen captured material ranging from fences & metal coverings surrounding the power plant, to wires, generators & pylons. Our team then meticulously edited and designed these sounds, including a range of characteristics such as screaming interference, distorted glitches, sweeping electrical currents and much more to create an eclectic assortment of short ambiences. Perfect for building nerve racking intensity within your sound design in Sci-Fi, Horror or Dramatic film, game, or television projects. All files are available in 24bit 96kHz allowing further sonic manipulation, tagged with extensive metadata and are UCS compliant for ease of workflow.
This library features recordings of sounds that were dubbed to 25 year old cassette tapes and then played back using a unique cassette manipulation device. The cassette tape reels are controlled manually by hand via a turning knob, allowing for speeding up/slowing down the pitch and speed while also controlling the rhythm, much like scratching vinyl. The existing sounds recorded to tape combined with the wow and flutter of the worn out tape, and manual speed playback create unique new sounds, including glitched tones, gritty blips, scratching, and percussive hits.
Urban Underground consists of 111 files that will help you recreate the soundscape of an underground area in an urban environment. Quiet room tones, muffled noises, distant impacts, water through pipes, hums, buzzes, HVACs, fans, elevators and many more sounds are included.
Arcs and Sparks is an essential collection of electrical sounds including both longer sustained elements and one-shots, arcs and sparks if you will. The sounds in this library were created through the processing of non-electrical sources, going beyond the limitations of literal electricity. Along with the diverse, personality rich processed content, you’ll get all the raw recordings used in the design process. Use this raw source to create your own electricity designs and learn about the new techniques we discovered during our extensive sonic explorations in the creation of this library.
This is a collection of sampled analog materials, ideal for designing the energy sounds of various science fiction novels.
The quality of the recorded raw material was 24Bit / 192kHz. After modulating the sampler and performing plug-in processing, the sampling rate was reduced to 24Bit / 96kHz.
Electromagnetic Design contains a wide variety of unique and abstract designed sounds including glitches, electronic movement, ambiences, futuristic elements and more.
Our Audio Craftsmen recorded sounds using electromagnetic coil pickups which capture signals and noises from devices. We used speakers, desktop monitors, computers, keyboard, mouse, room heaters, lights and even from a dehumidifier to generate the effects, all in 24Bit 96kHz allowing for further manipulation!
These recordings were then meticulously edited, designed and meta tagged, providing you with a suite of sounds suitable for Science Fiction, Horror, Abstract and Dramatic Films, Games and Television projects. The included sounds work well for machine, weapon, transition, gunshot, futuristic devices and many other types of sound effects.
Here are the included folders:
Electronic Movements: Transition, whoosh, whip and buzz fly bys to bring your scene to life.
Flowing Currents: The sounds of electricity flowing, great for design sections, animations and game audio effects.
Future Technology: The sounds of spaceships, tractor beam, neural interfaces, signals and alarms.
Glitches: Some seriously glitchy sounds, great for modern trailer design, radios, transmissions and Sci-Fi scenes.
Magnetic Ambiences: The warmth and flow of electricity, channelled into ambiences that fit both in a sound effects and musical context.
Police radio and general walkie talkie comms sounds.
This pack contains both ‘police radio’ and general radio communications sounds.
I have recorded the police chatter stereo ‘PR’ files using real walkie talkies rather than affecting with software in post. There are some specific scenarios such as a police chase but mainly these will be best as undefined background or incidental sounds in a video game, film, theatre or other project.
The Police sound files in this pack are all English and reflect the style of classic TV shows like Z Cars, The Sweeney, The Professionals and The Bill.
The Garbled Radio Communications mono ‘GRC’ files are vintage recordings and suitable for any radio communications sounds from CB Radio to Military, other emergency services or even sci-fi.
The music in the preview is merely intended as an audio watermark and is not available in the pack.
I have read through the NATO alphabet three times. One is a flat read one has an upward inflection at the end of each word and one down, good for concatenation.
Have fun, hope they can help bring your project to life!
Wavs and MP3 versions both in the pack.
The sound of the future is bursting with energy.
This sound library presents carefully crafted high-tech sound effects that vary from pleasant and musical to unpredicted and glitchy designs.

This Sound Library is a part of the Slava Pogorelsky – Complete Bundle.
WHAT SOUND PROFESSIONALS SAY:
Victor Mercader – AAA Sound Designer (Apex Legends)
“I find myself continuously using Slava’s SFX libraries to blend it’s pristine and detailed sound designs into my own sounds. They always add that cutting edge I am missing and make my sound designs more unique and pristine. The Sci-fi Elements sound library is the perfect library to use and blend into my UI designs in Apex Legends.”
Enos Desjardins – Sound Designer/Sound Effects Editor (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Mirror)
“Slava has been creating some really cool libraries which I find myself using time and again. Really high quality recordings to start with but then the cool processing he has used for example in his cinematic whoosh libraries really stand out. They are not just your standard generic whoosh sounds but are loaded with character and have a unique feel to them that is really fresh and cuts through in the nicest of ways.”
Bjørn Jacobsen – AAA Sound Designer (CyberPunk 2077, HITMAN, DARQ)
“Slava has for several years made high quality sound effects for me to play with. I use his sound libraries across multiple projects as lego blocks of my creations.”
Ginno Legaspi – SoundBytes Music Magazine
“Each sound was carefully designed and captured using various high end tools and studio instruments. To be able to come up with these sounds one must layer and heavily process the raw files. Slava did just that. The sounds are static, yet bursting with energy. You won’t be disappointed, especially if you create music for trailers, game, TV, films and commercials.”
Yarron Katz – AAA Composer and Sound Designer
“Slava makes some wonderful libraries. He’s relatively new on the scene and his libraries have come to critical acclaim. He takes some general ideas, like whooshes and he injects some extremely revolutionary and innovative ideas to them, so you’re not getting another whoosh library – you’re getting something very unique, very fresh. He brings some wonderful ideas to the table.”
Short wave radio noises
A trip through the more obscure wastelands of the short-wave airwaves, interference, static, some voices and music creeping through the noise. Good for domestic radio, military, sci-fi and more.
Please audition sounds at a low level for the sake of your ears as there are some harsh frequencies and big, periodic jumps in volume.
Feedback is a collection of well… feedback sound effects! Created by digitally misrouting various audio signals in numerous ways to create truly wild sound effects:

Use Feedback to flavor your next sci-fi project, bring dramatic tension to a scene, simulate head-aching tinnitus, and so much more!
Back and Forth was born of an idea of Matteo Milani and Lorenzo di Tria (aka Dj Mate/Signal Generator), thinking on how to build an intuitive and great sounding music tool for contemporary producers and sound designers.
Based on Lorenzo’s experience on the art of turntablism and Matteo’s ability to produce distinctive sound effect libraries, this collection is now an easy way to add real scratch and turntable performances to your musical and audiovisual projects, and finally make them sounds better then ever before.
The unsurpassed sound of the needle in the groove and the cuts of the crossfader generate an unmistakable music quality and uniqueness.
The library follow the naming structure provided by UCS (Universal Category System), a public domain initiative supported by sound librarians, vendors, and users from around the globe.

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
