Farts are our bodies’ way of punctuating important moments. Everyone knows this and agrees on it. It’s basically accepted scientific fact.
And now, after decades of research and a couple days of intensely private foley work, George brings you 216 separate files of completely original yet hauntingly familiar fart sounds that will add ripe, satisfying definition to your every soundscape.
Employ George’s rich, mouth-made ass-noises to create emphasis, intrigue, a sense of accomplishment, desperation, true love, and more.
With over 20 minutes of quick bursts and ambient loops, we’re fairly confident when we say you really shouldn’t ever need more fart noises than this.

Prepare for shivers! Frozen Footsteps is a huge library of winter footstep & foley sounds recorded on 8 expressive and cold surfaces in real -20 °C (and below) temperatures.
Containing over 2400 sounds in 81 files, Frozen Footsteps foley sfx library is created for game and film sound design. If your game needs winter footstep sounds, or you are missing some authentic source material to take your studio foley tracks to the next level, this is the library for you.
All surfaces were recorded in real movement with multiple walking and running velocities. Frozen Footsteps library includes also real jumping and landings sounds. Jumping sounds are often missing from other foley libraries, but are extremely useful for creating character movement sounds for games. This package gets you covered.
7 surfaces were recorded during two freezing winter nights in a quiet rural area in Finland. Everything from ground to trees was totally frozen and covered in frost. However, snow hadn’t fallen yet. This special moment allowed recording footsteps on unique surfaces that are usually under snowpack. To make the package complete, the frozen snow sounds were recorded later, with real crusty snow. In freezing temperatures, as well.
All sounds were carefully edited in iZotope RX and Pro Tools 12 removing the background and clothing noise. This was quite a task, but it was worth it. This makes the sounds extremely clear, versatile, and easy to use.

Military Buildings is a collection of 5.0 room tones/ambiences and stereo & mono spot effects and activities recorded on location
We extensively explored an array of interesting locations centered around an Abandoned Military Facility.
• Jet engine testing facility with exhaust tunnel.
• Aircraft Hangers used during the late 70’s Cold War era.
• Bomb stores, purpose built for the cold war to secure nuclear weapons.
• Military Barracks.
• A large Squadron Building with unique decontamination stations.
• A series of old dilapidated barns on the site likely used for storage and general purpose.
• K9 Dog kennels, jail cells and an array of lengthy corridors spanning the site.
Our first task was exploring the base in its entirety to record high quality 5.0 room tones of each individual space.
Some of these unique spaces have been untouched since the 70’s and are thus in a state of disrepair. Paint peeling off the walls, cracks scarring each room, window, and ceiling. The dilapidated state of these rooms creates minute details in the sonic architecture which add depth, character and can give a clear indication as to the size of the spaces and so have been left in the recordings.
Next we set about recording spot fx with multiple perspectives (close up and wide) within the different spaces.
These spot fx include:
Doors (manual and electric), light fixtures, buttons/switches/levers, metal impacts, BG activities, compound gates, and any other fixture or fitting we could open, close, turn, twist, rattle, shake, impact
All of our sounds have been recorded in high-quality 24bit, 96kHz using Sound Devices recorders and Sennheiser, microphones. Each file has been tagged with detailed Soundminer metadata to speed up workflow and increase organization.
It’s A Plain Phone_Pack 04 is the next installment in the It’s A Plain Phone_Collection. This pack includes recordings of an older office phone pressing buttons, pick up, hang ups, slams, detach and reattach cable to both phone and base, switches, and more! 1260+ sounds packed in 40 sound files, recorded at 24 bit, 192kHz using the Sennheiser MKH8050, MKH30 microphone combo into a Sound Devices Mix Pre-6.
All are meta-data tagged and updated using the Universal Category System in Soundminer, Basehead, and Soundly.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
