Hear the massive sparseness of glacial valleys and still water. Hear majestic swaying of old growth forest and naked trunks left by wildfire. Hear Lodgepole pines creaking and Douglas fir slamming to the forest floor. This library is packed full of “quiet nature” tracks from the continental divide of North America, the crown of the continent where glacial meltwaters flow all the way to the Pacific, the Gulf of Mexico, and to the Hudson Bay. Perfect for use as the foundation of your designed environment, some stretches of rare natural silence are up to 35 minutes!

  • Have you heard about fractals, if so then you probably know that they can be used as art; to an almost-infinite detail creating mind boggling patterns. Luckily, it so happens that one of our core team sound-designers is also a well known fractal artist.

With the help of “photo-synthesis” and “spectral-manipulations”, we extracted the unique impulse responses straight out of some of the most mathematical pieces of art we have ever seen. These visually insane patterns resulted in some truly unique sonic experiences, which we have been unable to find anywhere else. More importantly, now you can add an extra layer of complexity and dimension to your sound with the easy-to-use impulse responses.

These are not the typical reverb tones that can be found or created, in most already-existing convolution reverb plugins.

Think about these Mathematical Impulse Responses, as unique effects and textures, a sound designer’s’ paradise. Make your math-rock mathematically richer than ever before, or give your EDM a new harmonically otherworldly twist, go where you want to go without the fear of being held back by the tools you use.

    Details:

    • 64 impulse response samples
    • 48khz / 24bit wav files
    • Compatible with any convolution-reverb software
    • WAV + ReFill version (for Propellerhead Reason 8.3+ with 64 Combinator & RV7000mk2 patches)

  • The Blacksmith Sound Effects Library gets you the ringing, banging sounds of hammer impacts on an anvil, as well as the sounds of a large blacksmith's bellows.

  • Motion Texures is a broad library with a narrow purpose: to draw sonic lines and create gently moving sonic textures.

The concept is that consistent sound of friction will translate well to visual design elements that have CG and text movement on screen.

We recorded the friction sounds of dozens of small to medium sized props in constant motion. Major categories include metal, plastic, cloth, wood and skin. Some of the most interesting sounds came from the props that had small cavities such as the spray can lid and the water bottle. The constant changing of the cavity state relative to the mics creates strange vocal sounds.

Once the sounds were recorded we employed a proprietary smoothing process as a second pass to the sounds and provided them in addition to the original textures. These smoothed out sounds still have the organic quality of the original recordings, but with far fewer transient events. The end result are sounds that feel straighter than the more circular sounding original textures.

Inside of the Kontakt instruments we stacked layers and effects to create a broad base of deep and interesting textures. Many of the Kontakt presets mangle the sounds far beyond recognition of the original recordings.

    Motion Textures features

    • 92 unique original samples
    • 92 smoothed samples
    • 25 Kontakt unlocked design .nki files
    • 22 Kontakt unlocked raw texture .nki files
    • .nki files require full version of NI Kontakt 4 or higher

Note: Can be used without Kontakt too!
All Kontakt instrument libraries include fully unlocked and accessible metadata tagged .wav files. You don't need any version of Kontakt to use these files as a standalone sample library.

  • Foley Sound Effects Burst Play Track 324+ sounds included, 38 mins total $23
