ROBOTICS SOUND DESIGN TOOLKIT
The Industrial Robot sound collection contains many recordings and performances of an ABB industrial robot. Robot sounds like these are perfect for designing pneumatic doors, sci-fi weapons or robots, futuristic engines and vehicles, hydraulics, spaceships and more.
RECORDINGS OF A REAL ROBOT
Industrial robots perform many different tasks and create, thanks to their flexible movement abilities, a lot of interesting sounds. In order to capture all these sound possibilities, the company we worked with prepared and programmed the robot especially for our recording sessions.
THE RECORDING PROCESS
The robot’s six axes and a sound-proof room provided us with a perfect recording base. We recorded each of the six axes at three speeds from different perspectives in mono and stereo, giving you a fundamental collection that you can use to design all sorts of robot and servo sounds. You also get more specific sounds resulting from different work performances, leading to pitch-modulated movements such as fast and slow acceleration. In addition to the robot recordings, you will receive various snapping sounds, clicks and tool handlings to round off the sound package.
All in all this library contains 142 files with more than 500 individual sounds.
Jon Lipman
Sound Designer, Sony Pictures
“I’m not sure where you found this robot but it’s just amazing for technical, sci-fi and gadget design. I’m normally pitching down household appliances or car doors to achieve these sort of sounds – thank you for going out and recording the actual thing!!”

WHAT SOUND PROFESSIONALS SAY:
Philip Eriksson – Audio Director (It Takes Two, Battlefield V, Star Wars: Battlefront I & II)
“Slava has some pretty kick ass sound libraries!”
Victor Mercader – AAA Sound Designer (Apex Legends)
“I find myself continuously using Slava’s SFX libraries to blend it’s pristine and detailed sound designs into my own sounds. They always add that cutting edge I am missing and make my sound designs more unique and pristine. The Sci-fi Elements sound library is the perfect library to use and blend into my UI designs in Apex Legends.”
Enos Desjardins – Sound Designer/Sound Effects Editor (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Mirror)
“Slava has been creating some really cool libraries which I find myself using time and again. Really high quality recordings to start with but then the cool processing he has used for example in his cinematic whoosh libraries really stand out. They are not just your standard generic whoosh sounds but are loaded with character and have a unique feel to them that is really fresh and cuts through in the nicest of ways.”
Bjørn Jacobsen – AAA Sound Designer (CyberPunk 2077, HITMAN, DARQ)
“Slava has for several years made high quality sound effects for me to play with. I use his sound libraries across multiple projects as lego blocks of my creations.”
Stefan Kovatchev – Audio Director (MultiVersus)
“Slava has put together an impressive collection of high quality source assets, recorded cleanly, and at high sample rates. It’s always refreshing to find a new purveyor of good source material. I particularly enjoyed Resonating Metal Force, which is comprised of very useable, unique tonal textures and impacts.”
Shane Tetro – AAA Sound Designer (Remnant II)
“Slava’s libraries feature high-quality, adaptable recordings and designs. There is plenty to dig through in every pack, making each library extremely dynamic for various applications. Their exceptional textures have significantly enhanced my workflow; consider me a fan!”
Samuel Gagnon-Thibodeau – Sound Designer/Sound Effects Editor (Dream Scenario, The Watchers, Hunting Daze)
“Slava’s Cinematic Wood Symphony detailed textures and movements blend so well in what I’m usually looking for in terms of sound design. It really brings proximity and sensitivity to the action while feeling real and natural. The creative blend of the wooden sounds with whooshes and impacts also makes them very unique. I’m finding myself coming back to them more and more as they fit in many situations.”
Yarron Katz – AAA Composer and Sound Designer
“Slava makes some wonderful libraries. He’s relatively new on the scene and his libraries have come to critical acclaim. He takes some general ideas, like whooshes and he injects some extremely revolutionary and innovative ideas to them, so you’re not getting another whoosh library – you’re getting something very unique, very fresh. He brings some wonderful ideas to the table.”
This sound pack contains unique sounds from old school printing and folding machines.
You get close up sounds from individual machines as well as ambiences from within the print shop.
What makes this pack unique is the fact that the machines recorded are really old and you won’t find them easily. You can use them as they are or play around with pitch shifters and the like to create dramatic sfx.
The machines used in this pack are vintage machines, printing and pressing machines from a previous era .
Adding this pack to your collection will give you some great material for designing all kinds of industrial machine sounds. It can be used for machine sound design, futuristic door design and much much more .
This pack will prove to be an interesting and versatile addition to your sound library :)
THE DEMO TRACK CONTAINS A NOISY MACHINE UNDER THE ENTIRE TRACK TO AVOID LOOPING :) In the pack all the sounds come without that noisy machine .

This library features an industry standard roaster, a bean destoner, antique hand grinders, modern electro grinders, coffee makers, milk frothers, espresso machines, a french press, plenty of beans and much more. And with much more I mean lots of handling sounds & grabs from from lids, packaging, cups, spoons, sieves, pour of liquids and that kind of stuff.
Of course it serves all your barista needs, be it in the household or in a café. But in a addition it is a fantastic sound design tool to create all kind of machinery from steam punk to futuristic motors. It also is very valuable for musicians, with a fantastic selection of roasted & green espresso beans poured, shaken and dropped on various surfaces. From a single bean to thousands of beans. Makes great percussion sounds.
Most recording session have been in my studio, but I also visited a roasting plant, where I was able to record various machines across the stages of roasting and packing coffee.
Some extra recordings are pouring of coffee and milk or destroying an old caffee machine.
Mics used: Earthworks QTC50 (records up 90kHz, linear up to 50kHz), Neumann KMR81i, Schoeps MK41, DPA 4061, Brauner Phantom, Shure SM57, Contact, EMF, Lewitt 540s (very quiet for single beans dropping on the floor).
I had some projects that needed coffee maker sounds in the past. And while there is a fantastic library with antique grinders from “The Soundcatcher” and some libraries with a Espresso Machine or a Coffee Machine, I was missing one that combines all of these sounds up to dropping a sugar cube into the coffee. So i created it myself and here it is.

Japan: Bullet Trains is a collection of exterior recordings and interior ambiences of a variety of Japanese bullet trains which includes passbys, arrivals, idles, departures and ride ambiences.
The shinkansen, or bullet train, is a symbol of Japan’s economic and technological prowess. Streaking by at speeds of up to 200mph, their sound pierces over miles of empty farmland. In rare spots where you can get near the tracks, the air pressure bursts of these trains passing by can knock you off-balance.
Recording coverage between models vary quite a bit, so please check the tracklist to get a sense of what is available per bullet train model.
Note: The W7 series bullet trains were recorded within their first month entering service, well before they had time to wear-in.
Models represented in this collection:
(Dates indicate the service years for the model, not the specific age of the train recorded)
These recordings were originally part of the Japan Sound Effects Collection Kickstarter campaign that was successfully funded in 2015.
All recordings have meticulously written Soundminer metadata embedded in them and comply with Universal Category System naming standards. Included in the download folder is also an excel file and CSV file with all of the metadata fields.

Audiobeast is proud to present our second sample library; the only library of its kind to focus entirely on weapons being fired in urban environments! For this recording session we were given access to a military training site known as a FIBUA (Fighting In Built-Up Area) consisting of streets with a variety of buildings, vehicles, and exclusive permission to fire weapons in several locations. Pictures of the street and gas station locations and firing points are included.
The aim of this library was to offer the slapback type tails needed for gun sound design for convincing city scenes in film, games and tv production. It’s always been difficult to find gun recordings in a city environment so we hope this library helps sound people everywhere.
This Library contains over 3 GBs of weapons being fired in multiple urban environments, a street, outside of a gas station and inside of a tower block. 218 WAV files of single shots, bursts and many with multiple takes, all recorded at 96 khz 24 bit, with heaps of information on microphones used and distance from the firearms.
Various distances were captured, from the DPA4062 on the guns themselves, to the distant other end of the street 100 metres away. To add, some mics were positioned around corners, a nearby graveyard, through walls and in armored vehicles to capture a variety of perspectives.
Minimal cleanup on the recordings was carried out very carefully so as not to introduce any artefacts into the recordings, they are presented as raw as possible.
If you need a wider selection of interior gun recordings please check out our first library – The London Warehouse Firearms library
Florida Thunder by Eric Berzins contains 111 distinct wav files with over 200 dry thunderclaps and over 300 thunderclaps with rain. All files have been meticulously edited and cleaned, and have embedded UCS-compliant Soundminer metadata.

Designed to sit cleanly in a mix and shimmer with personality, these spell sounds are ideal for games, trailers, audio dramas and more. Real reactions, recorded with obsessive detail.

These are true-to-life textures, captured in a lab-grade recording setup. The result? Magical sound with depth, realism, and spark..
These are not long, cinematic flourishes. This library is about immediacy — short, dry, punchy magic effects that are easy to slot into your project. Ideal for game asset design, magical feedback sounds, and trailer moments where clarity counts.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
