  • Mechanical Sound Effects Metal Gears Cast Iron Play Track 281 sounds included, 40 mins total $25

Get your gears grinding with 281 sounds by a metal sheet bending machine from the 1950s.

Made out of cast iron by Thyssen Krupp, this machine was used to bend i.a copper sheets to create rain gutters or other parts of drainage or heating systems.

The library is composed of two main elements, the outer cogwheel held by a hammer clutch to calibrate the rollers, and the inner cogwheel used to lower or raise a massive clamp to bend the metal sheet at a right angle.

The outer cogwheel creates snappy impacts, as the hummer clutch snaps into place, providing you with the base for your next lever or mechanism design.

The inner gear on the other side provides both calm and screeching grinding gears, as the heavy clamp is raised or lowered. Setting you up, for the next intricate mechanism design.

The cogwheels were recorded from two angles and the library contains both single files, as well as a joined file, per sound and stereo files for the outer cogwheel.

Resulting in a total of 984 wave files in 96kHz and 24 Bit.

  • This immense sound-set has been meticulously recorded and curated to provide a vast array of creative sonic material.

Highlights include two different reel-to-reel tape recorders from the 1970s and an assortment of retro tools and implements. Included are a few bonus more modern sounds – just to complete the pack’s usability.

If you need to make gizmo or mechanical sounds then this library is for you.

It also contains a hefty amount of mechanical switches.

Gear Used: Neumann KMR 81i – Mic. Sound Devices – Recorder. Izotope RX7 – Processing.

    Recorded at 24 Bit 96kHz.

  • Foley Sound Effects Organic VS Machine Play Track 548 sounds included, 10 mins total $79.99

Get ready to take your UI to the next level with this massive dual library of organically recorded sounds and machine generated sounds. This is not your average UI Library. The process for creating this library was simple: record every day sounds that happen organically. That includes pen clicks, paper crinkles, wood blocks, garbage rustling, paper shuffling, elemental material impacts and movements, etc. Then take those sounds and send them through a chain of modules in a modular synthesizer that is patched specifically to mangle, tangle, distort, pitch shift, warp, and rearrange. The result is somewhere between alien and mech, familiar and unfamiliar; a treasure trove of refreshing and unique sounds at your disposal.

You might call it Future UI, Alien UI, Biotech, or Bio-Mech. Whether your project needs material, organic, clean UI sounds or futuristic, sci-fi, biotech UI sounds, this dual library gives you the freedom to pick one or the other or somewhere in between. All sounds were recorded at 192 kHz and with over 540 sounds your options are vast. Keep a clean sonic palate and choose from the Organic sounds. Build something refreshingly out of this world with the Machine sounds. The choice is yours, enjoy Organic vs Machine!

  • All files are recorded 32bit, 192 kHz, with RØDE NTG1, RØDELink Lav, FEL Clippy XLR EM272 and Shure VP88 microphones, Sound Devices MixPre-6 II recorder. Library contains wav files of driving, interior and exterior foley, mechanical and electrical sounds.

  • The “Seismic Activities” sound archive contains over 2500 different noises from vibrations, shocks and their resonances. We have taken the trouble to use a set-up of different natural sounds, such as frequency drops, thunder or the sound of deep rumbling, to control two structure-borne sound transducers.

The “Seismic Activities” sound archive contains over 2500 different noises from vibrations, shocks, and their resonances.
We have taken the trouble to use a set-up of different natural sounds, such as frequency drops, thunder, or the sound of deep rumbling, to control two structure-borne sound transducers. We have installed these converters in various locations. For example, we were at a company that produces large roller doors. There we shook all sorts of pipes, high racks, tool cabinets, gates, and the like.
In addition, we worked with many household items to create a variety of sound structures, which should make the use of “seismic activities” particularly diverse.
Almost all of the sounds were generated from a multi-channel set-up made up of Sennheiser MKH80 (ORTF), DPA 4060 (AB) and a Sony DR100. So you can expect the best sound quality. As always, a Sounddevices 744T and a Mixpre were used as recording devices.
As always, all files come with burned in metadata in open standards like iXml, BWAV, ID3 Chunk.

  • The Roll from The Library by Empty Sea contains over 750 original Wheeled Object sound effects for all your rolling needs!

We set out to record objects that roll in a similar manner to how one would record cars. With multiple tracks recording simultaneously and synced to one another, intercutting between perspectives has never been easier. Onboards, Passbys, Cornering. Some of the objects were even loaded down with weight to change the sonic profile! It’s all here! Toy Cars, Strollers, Wagons, Scooters, Luggage, Carts, Hand Truck. Part 1 has a great selection of rolling objects for all of your sound design needs.

The Roll was recorded exclusively at 96k24bit. We utilized several different recorders and microphones for this project including Zoom F8n, Roland R-07, Zoom H4n, and Oktava MK-012. The Roll also utilizes UCS for easier cataloging in sound effect database management software.

  • Vintage Typewriters features five fully mechanical typewriters from the early to mid twentieth century. They were captured in great detail at 192khz with the Sanken CO-100k, as well as a stereo overhead pair, contact mic, and for full speed typing performances a room mic to easier mix into ambiences. Pre-mastered half speed and quarter speed files are included to speed up your editing and design workflow. Every keystroke, click and mechanism that makes a sound was recorded with many variations.

This library is UCS compliant, and features rich, detailed Soundminer metadata with lots of sorting options to help find exactly what you need. Each file is labeled in detail the action that is happening so you can faithfully recreate the sounds of someone using a typewriter, or have an easier time designing those special mechanical sounds. Most of the library was edited on a one second grid to quickly nudge and audition other variations of a sound in your DAW. Soundminer Radium regions were added throughout to speed up your sound design process. Five bonus designed files of clocks and an office ambience are included as well.

  • Other Instruments Back and Forth Play Track 400+ sounds included From: $29

Back and Forth was born of an idea of Matteo Milani and Lorenzo di Tria (aka Dj Mate/Signal Generator), thinking on how to build an intuitive and great sounding music tool for contemporary producers and sound designers.
Based on Lorenzo’s experience on the art of turntablism and Matteo’s ability to produce distinctive sound effect libraries, this collection is now an easy way to add real scratch and turntable performances to your musical and audiovisual projects, and finally make them sounds better then ever before.
The unsurpassed sound of the needle in the groove and the cuts of the crossfader generate an unmistakable music quality and uniqueness.

  • 170 sounds of Clocks & Bells, striking, chiming, and ticking.

No longer do you need to fall back on those old BBC recordings of Cambridge College clock chimes with this vast collection of chiming clocks from various obscure churches throughout the UK, many with sets of quarter-hour chimes, with one and twelve hour strikes. Added to that, there are two beautiful 18th century chiming mantle clocks, a couple of sweet carillons and clocks from Amsterdam, Greek Orthodox Church bells from a small island and some distinctly dodgy bell ringing practice from a couple of English churches. Throw in some domestic clocks ticking and chiming and one very snappy cuckoo clock, and you have a collection that should serve most of your clock-related needs.

170 files, some at 48/24 and some at 96/24, representing many years of collecting these sounds from analog tape, DAT and the latest recording technology.

  • Audiobeast is proud to present our second sample library; the only library of its kind to focus entirely on weapons being fired in urban environments!  For this recording session we were given access to a military training site known as a FIBUA (Fighting In Built-Up Area) consisting of streets with a variety of buildings, vehicles, and exclusive permission to fire weapons in several locations.  Pictures of the street and gas station locations and firing points are included.

The aim of this library was to offer the slapback type tails needed for gun sound design for convincing city scenes in film, games and tv production.  It’s always been difficult to find gun recordings in a city environment so we hope this library helps sound people everywhere.

This Library contains over 3 GBs of weapons being fired in multiple urban environments, a street, outside of a gas station and inside of a tower block. 218 WAV files of single shots, bursts and many with multiple takes, all recorded at 96 khz 24 bit, with heaps of information on microphones used and distance from the firearms.

Various distances were captured, from the DPA4062 on the guns themselves, to the distant other end of the street 100 metres away. To add, some mics were positioned around corners, a nearby graveyard, through walls and in armored vehicles to capture a variety of perspectives.

Minimal cleanup on the recordings was carried out very carefully so as not to introduce any artefacts into the recordings, they are presented as raw as possible.

If you need a wider selection of interior gun recordings please check out our first library – The London Warehouse Firearms library
