    The library contains recordings of main roads during the morning rush hour, when the trolley car rumbles over the rails and the trucks are roaring through the kettles.     “Quiet Hotels At Night Vol. 2” is the second part of our most popular library “Quiet Hotels At Night”.  Comprised of the best pieces of several years of recordings. Imagine you are in a game or a security guard who is doing his regular tour. You find yourself in different corridors, rooms, and stairwells, even in the kitchen of a restaurant late at night. Through the recordings, you can experience a wide variety of settings – from riding a hotel elevator to looking around the lobby. The idea of the library is to include a rich variety of room tones and quiet atmospheres very early in the morning, late in the evening, or at night. The atmospheres in hotels of different sizes and stages of construction are quite distinctive because of their different reverberation, density of walls, doors, etc. Most of the library is focused around silence. You can hear photo-cell lighting at times, distant faint voices at others, or just sporadic sounds coming from places such as doors or footsteps from an upper floor. The stairwells are also very interesting as you can hear the sound of moving elevators stopping on another floor or the sound of pure electricity. This library sequel also includes atmospheres from the interior of moving elevators. You will hear the sound of doors closing, traveling, and doors opening. Room tones from a handful number of bathrooms are included as well. This library has been recorded in Eastern Europe and more specifically in Bulgaria which makes the atmospheres even more diverse and intriguing.

    All of the files are carefully and thoroughly meta-tagged in UCS.

    Urban Air is a collection of long duration / ready to use / surround urban backgrounds.

    This is aXLsound’s first surround ambience library, it has been recorded across different cities with various microphones setup ( LCR ORTF / QUAD / 5.0 ) and then carefully collected and edited into 5.0 surround tracks.

    You’ll find various moods and sonic characteristics including: downtown, suburban, industrial, small towns, quiet, loud and annoying traffic beds, wet city, side streets, parks, wide city squares, diffuse and distant urban elements, clean air tones or dirty gritty city noise …

  • Environments & Ambiences Geyser and Volcano – Wilderness Americas Play Track 56 sounds included $49

    “Wilderness Americas : Geyser and Volcano” is a collection of sounds focused on geothermal phenomena of Central and North America.

    We recorded geysers in the Yellowstone National Park (USA) and two very actives volcanoes: the Fuego in Guatemala, and the Masaya in Nicaragua.

    To complete this sound library, we added natural sound elements which are very efficient for sound design as designed sound material:

    “Super volcano” eruption sounds, magma lake ebullition sounds, lava movement, and landslide sounds.

    The geyser and Masaya volcano sounds (magma lake, lava movement) were recorded with the Telinga Parabola with a Sennheiser MKH 8040. The Telinga was used for its powerful ability to focus on sound details at a reasonable distance.

    The explosions and eruptions of the Fuego volcano were recorded in surround with a Sennheiser DMS setup (MKH 8040-30) and also with the Telinga Parabola + MKH 8020.

    -This sound bank contains 56 sound takes recorded in 24/96 kHz, and a total of 122 files.

    These sounds will sweeten and add character to your wind sounds. Lots of whistling, squeaking, howling and singing wind. From low rumbles, mid honks to harsh high frequency blows, this modular library is the perfect construction kit for creating otherwordly swirls and heavy storms.

    The sounds were recorded at the windorgan in Vlissingen(NL), at the monument Halde Hohenward and  in Zoutelande(NL) & Essen(GER).

    In addition to the original wind sounds creating tones on objects, you will get a few rattling flagpoles, waving flags and singing flag cords. And some bonus windmill sounds.

    About half the sounds are delivered in stereo, the focus though is on mono sounds. I captured the very sweetspot where the wind created unique tones. To focus on these rare events, I mostly used a single spot mic. In winds up to 48 mph you will have carefully selected mic positions for a broad variety of wind torturing different objects.

    The stereo files deliver a symphony of wind with various pitches and broad dynamics.

    African Rainforest is an expansive collection of recordings made in the various types of rainforest that lie on the Ugandan side of the Albertine Rift, ranging from high-altitude afromontane to tropical lowland jungles.

    From the spooky croaking choruses of black and white colobus monkeys to barking baboons, hooting DeBrazza’s monkeys, moaning Mona monkeys, screaming chimpanzees, warbling mangabey and the otherworldly twang of the blue monkey, these forests are packed to the brim with primates calling from the canopy. Yet beyond all the monkey exuberance, these recordings are characterised by tranquility and spaciousness, where slow lazy bird calls are interspersed by gently fluttering insect choruses and pinging tree frogs.

    Available in stereo and surround and covering all times of day, African Rainforest not only features lengthy ambient recordings but also includes a number of close-up vocalisations of two kinds of great ape: chimpanzee and mountain gorilla, recorded on location in their natural habitat.

There are recordings captured in urban as well as nature environments like: thunderstorm, thunder strikes, rain and rainy ambiances and textures, far field, mid field, near field recordings.
