Welcome to the Essential Stadium Crowd sound effects library: All the crowds, back room ambience and practice tracks were recorded at the Phoenix Cardinals Stadium, pre/during and post game. I had the opportunity to have a press pass and free reign in the stadium.
Some of the recordings were recorded way up high in the upper bleachers, and some behind the end zones, as well as other interesting places. There are significant differences in the locations and the ‘thickness’ of the crowds. With this library, you should be able to fill out any sort of large sports arena ambience, as I’ve edited out most of the PA Announcer to give more of a general stadium feel that could be anywhere, and any major arena sporting event. The PA that is left in can easily be edited out.
All the sounds were mastered in Pro Tools, with very transparent processing going on. My signal chain consisted of a C4 Compressor, DMG Equality EQ, and a L1 Limiter. All reverb is natural.
This library is an intimate profile of a completely original 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. It boasts a 427 ‘Big Block’ 400 HP engine, a 4-speed Muncie transmission, 3×2 tri-power carburetor, and plenty of mechanical accessories.
We recorded anything on the vehicle that made a definable noise: the handbrake, clutch, shifter, turn signal, horn, headlights, hood latch, gas cap, doors, and more. Though the primary focus, of course, was on the beasty combustion and exhaust systems. We collected multi- and single-point, interior and exterior, front to back recordings of the engine cranking, idling, and being cut. We also experimented with a wide spectrum setup for passbys and various driving maneuvers. Files pertaining to the same event are marked accordingly for easy grouping and layering. This collection was designed so that in using multiple grouped files, you can effectively dial in/out the exhaust pipes independently (driver side, passenger side), interior ambience, and direct engine sources as desired. Together with a number of alternative variations, you can use this library to bring any car in your project to life, quickly.
Don’t be afraid to give it a little gas. Enjoy!

This library was made for the small stuff. I have always had a hard time finding small fire sounds. I work mostly in games, and trying to find a small fireplace sound, or torches on the wall in a castle, or perhaps a candle or oil lamp sound, are impossible to find in commercial libraries! I've always been unhappy with what I had to make for those elements. So, I went to work getting small and delicate fire sounds.
It took multiple field recording trips using a variety of different materials to find the best small fire sounds. Finally, after a lot of hard work (and smoke to the lungs), here is the Small Fire SFX Library!
This is our home. Our sounds from the country we live in. Hear the cold winter winds from the hills of Gothenburg, the city life of the student town of Uppsala and the untouched nature far from the highways and industries from the whole year.
We have collected the nature, cities, parks and rivers in a compact package. A library like this wouldn’t be complete without wallas where you can hear the Swedish language, in a café, shopping mall and train station.
This comes down to over 220 minutes in 7.2 GB. Everything is recorded on a Sound Devices 633 with Neumann KM184 and Sennheiser MKH50 in Stereo (96 kHz, 24 Bit).
Sonic Warfare by Badlands Sound features 40 audio files organized in four different categories, including Deep Distortion, Glitch, Noise, and Scream – 10 audio files for each category. This is the best pack if you need all of the above noises!
I believe these sounds will greatly benefit sound editors and sound designers allowing them to skip through the process of either creating dark drones or painful high-pitch glitches. These sounds would also work perfectly in different styles of music including noise and dark industrial. All files are 96k / 24 bit, lasting one minute each.
Need playing card sound effects? Welcome to the most thorough and comprehensive playing card library in existence. Not only does this library provide an incredible array of card actions with many diverse variations, but it's also provided with 2 Mic perspectives.

Mixed perspective: For scenes where the sound needs to sit naturally without drawing too much attention, yet still sound articulate.
The library was recorded with the most commonly used card deck used by casinos, magicians and hobbyists alike.
It was recorded with 2 matched Neumann TLM 103's selected for their outstanding transient response and ultra high SNR, and contains 410 Sounds (205 sounds x 2 perspectives).
This library is designed for instances when chewing rocks is not what you are looking for. There are various types of food being chewed with open and closed mouth. From soft and squishy, to hard and crunchy.
This library was recorded using the Shoeps CMIT5 and the Avedis MA5 pre.
The Dark Woods Ambience sound effects library contains sounds of natural night ambiences, all recorded in the woods in Southwest Florida, USA (under trees, woods, etc). All 68 ready to use and loop-able stereo wave files were captured in 24 Bit, 96 kHz stereo (each in 3 or 5 minutes long). There are sounds of birds, a Coyote, frogs, insects, wild pigs, waves/water splashes from fish/wind, thunders, etc (check out the file names). See if you can identify what the two creatures are that approached my microphone. One of the creatures dragged the microphone fur a few feet away!
The Urban Elements sound effects library delivers all of the sonic ingredients you need to seamlessly customize your city environments. A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
