Spectacular sci-fi sound effects, from robot sounds, spacecraft and lasers to other futuristic sounds
This library was built primarily using two different modular synthesizer systems. One based on the Korg MS-20 and the other based on the Pittsburgh Modular Lifeforms 201. Included in this library you will find various one shots and hits alongside longer evolving textures and drones. The library was created in a very non-musical way and as such most of what you hear is noisy, gritty and a-tonal. The library can be used effectively for Sci-Fi Weapons, User Interfaces, Droids and Robots, Ambient Textures and many more possibilities.
This small sound library contains all the original CPU fan and hard disk noises emitted by the following vintage Apple MACs, each with its own unique texture:
• Power Macintosh 4400
• Power Macintosh 6400
• Power Macintosh 7200
• Macintosh Classic
• Macintosh Mac G4
• Macintosh Mac LC 475
The material contains a lot of mechanical noises and different startup chimes, plus a lot of boot sequences with all the hard drives/fans spinning and whirring.
Need futuristic sounds? Sci-fi Evolution is a massive compilation of more than 1700 audio files – and it covers a lot of ground! Check out the full selection below.
Energy Swords is a scintillating selection of Sci-Fi Energy Swords sounds. Bring energy weapons to life with 9 different sword types. The library provides the perfect arsenal of pulsating drones, doppler slashes, energy clashes, ignites and retracts. Includes 2300+ files.
This flamboyant and diverse library is a collection of recordings of air flows, leaks, bursts, plops, hisses, wooshes, suctions and blows.
I started recording these noises when I needed a basis for a magic spell sound and then realized that the sounds also work very well as a layer in fly bys (or all kind of pass bys), weapons / bullets and other sci fi elements like doors & machines. And of course you can use the sounds for the objects that emitted them.
A lot of objects were recorded that first come on everyones mind, like canned air / co2, bicycle pumps, boat pumps and the opening of soda bottles. But also more exceptional products were captured, like a fog machine, syringes, medical nebulator / inhaler and more. I also recorded quite a lot of vents, fans, hvac and some more tonal whistles or water boilers like the famous Alessi.
There are also air releases into water, so a lot of wet textures, spray paint, desinfection spray ( and all kind of plastic bottles with various sealing caps and and and.
One of my favourite sounds in this collection is a malfunctioning garden hose. Air flow leaked through a tiny hole and depending on the pressure my hand put on the ventile different tones and sounds occured.
The selection offers everything from very short, to medium long sounds, loops and long air releases.
Most sounds were recorded from multiple mic perspectives. While the directional mics deliver clean direct sounds, omnidirectional Eartworks QTC50 capture high frequency sounds up to above 80kHz, that invite to pitch or slow down the sounds and create otherworldy atmospheres or woosh sounds. Some sounds were also recorded underwater with an ASF1 hydrophone.
The naming structure is UCS compliant.
This curated package of sound effects is from another planet. If you ever wondered how to make your audience experience the extraterrestrial, this compilation of handpicked sounds is the “go-to” compilation for your Sci-Fi projects.
Included are Ambiences, Weapons, Electronics, Objects, Spaceships, Alarms, UI, Devices

Kyma Ambiences [USO003] is the third sound effects bundle created by Matteo Milani.
The generation of these “Artificial Reality Ambiences” starts entirely in Symbolic Sound Kyma from the processing of white and pink noise by filtering – in the time/spectral domains – and convolving these sources with custom FM, additive, formant and granular synthesis. The composition’s resource of sound material is drawn solely from these processed stochastic sound elements: coloured noise is a raw material already full of life and can be sculpted into a variety of temporal forms, movements and textures.
The interaction with Kyma was typical of a composer who explored a device’s potential for sound transformation like a musical instrument. The goal was to obtain an organic and acoustic quality using only a restricted sound source, in order to evoke real spatial characteristics attached to each invented sound.
The “Kyma Ambiences vol.1” sound effects collection is published @ 96kHz (native) – and is also available as dual-layer separated “Elements”, suitable for recombinant stratification, varispeed and spatial positioning in the surround field (for a total of 112 files @ 96kHz).
Design the futuristic user interface of your electric dreams with this feature complete bundle of next-gen, forward thinking science-fiction sounds.
Inside Sci-Fi Interface Bundle you’ll find original frequency modulated content coming from a wide array of sources like complex modular synth squelches, simple sinusoidal beeps and bleeps from hardware, complex software patches generating both futuristic and retro sounds, electromagnetic recordings from a multitude of home appliances, long evolving takes of digital machine hums and other experimental soundscapes, synthetic drones, odd clanging rhythms and this is just scratching the surface.
The bulk of this library is comprised of thousands of micro one-shot sound effects, all edited, mixed, cleaned up and ready to be dropped onto any science-fiction based project. Given the variety and cheer number of sounds present, you can create completely new and original content by layering and mashing these high resolution files with one another, mangle and destroy them with samplers, use complex effects chains to remodel something slick and clean onto industrial noises and make use of the Atmospheres folder and its long evolving files to generate background ambiences and computerized beeping. Your imagination is the limit.

This Hard Drive SFX library delivers the sounds of severely mistreated hard drives. We hit hard drives with hammers, drilled holes in them, bent them and inserted objects into them before turning them on. Power ups, shut downs, grinding, screeching, whines, and rattling are just a few of the sounds you’ll find here. Great source material for sound design and heavy processing.
Explosion Fireworks is a 182-track collection of fireworks recordings captured during the local holiday “Nit de L’Alba,” located in Spain, where hundreds of thousands of fireworks are launched. It also includes 8 additional tracks, featuring explosions designed exclusively from the audios in this high-quality library.
The audios are organized with an intuitive nomenclature that allows for easy switching between different microphones, providing the flexibility to select or combine the best recording options. For this collection, high-end microphones such as the Sennheiser MKH 8050 and the Sanken CO-100K were used, along with a Zoom H6 recorder to capture stereo sound. The recordings were made at 24-bit and 192 kHz/96 kHz, ensuring exceptional clarity and depth.
This collection covers a wide variety of fireworks sounds, including firecrackers, close-up explosions, mid-range explosions, ground fireworks, ground spinners, palm tree explosions, roman candle, Whistling Rockets, and various fireworks atmosphere loops. Each audio contains multiple variations, providing the flexibility needed for any production requiring fireworks or explosion sounds.
All recordings have been meticulously edited to remove external noises such as wind, people, or background noise. Additionally, thanks to the ultrasonic microphones used, it is guaranteed that even when lowering the pitch, the richness of the frequencies will be maintained.

Audiobeast is proud to present our second sample library; the only library of its kind to focus entirely on weapons being fired in urban environments! For this recording session we were given access to a military training site known as a FIBUA (Fighting In Built-Up Area) consisting of streets with a variety of buildings, vehicles, and exclusive permission to fire weapons in several locations. Pictures of the street and gas station locations and firing points are included.
The aim of this library was to offer the slapback type tails needed for gun sound design for convincing city scenes in film, games and tv production. It’s always been difficult to find gun recordings in a city environment so we hope this library helps sound people everywhere.
This Library contains over 3 GBs of weapons being fired in multiple urban environments, a street, outside of a gas station and inside of a tower block. 218 WAV files of single shots, bursts and many with multiple takes, all recorded at 96 khz 24 bit, with heaps of information on microphones used and distance from the firearms.
Various distances were captured, from the DPA4062 on the guns themselves, to the distant other end of the street 100 metres away. To add, some mics were positioned around corners, a nearby graveyard, through walls and in armored vehicles to capture a variety of perspectives.
Minimal cleanup on the recordings was carried out very carefully so as not to introduce any artefacts into the recordings, they are presented as raw as possible.
If you need a wider selection of interior gun recordings please check out our first library – The London Warehouse Firearms library
Florida Thunder by Eric Berzins contains 111 distinct wav files with over 200 dry thunderclaps and over 300 thunderclaps with rain. All files were recorded in the US state of Florida between 2021 and 2025. Florida has more lightning strikes than any other U.S. state! All files have been meticulously edited and cleaned, and have embedded UCS-compliant Soundminer metadata.

Designed to sit cleanly in a mix and shimmer with personality, these spell sounds are ideal for games, trailers, audio dramas and more. Real reactions, recorded with obsessive detail.
No digital fakery here. Every sound in MAGIC – ALCHEMY began as a live experiment — alcohol burning in jars, butane growling through pipes, fuses igniting, water swirling in glass. These are true-to-life textures, captured in a lab-grade recording setup. The result? Magical sound with depth, realism, and spark..
These are not long, cinematic flourishes. This library is about immediacy — short, dry, punchy magic effects that are easy to slot into your project. Ideal for game asset design, magical feedback sounds, and trailer moments where clarity counts.
Need a healing chime, a cursed hex, or something more ambiguous? The Designed section is grouped into Holy, Cursed, and Neutral categories — giving you emotional options that match your scene’s intent, whether you’re crafting a fantasy RPG or a subtle magical interaction.
