Sound effects and recordings of various surfaces, textures, objects and elements – soft, hard, organic, wooden, stone, metallic and lots more
‘Mountain Dweller – Orc Sound Effects’ from Bluezone Corporation is a collection of 184 carefully designed fantasy sound effects. Built around the theme of orcs and goblins, this original and massive sound library contains a wide selection of sounds from legendary creatures but also their universes.
Perfect for all kinds of fantasy movie and video game projects, this pack contains a wide variety of designed intimidating orc sounds like grunts and crunches, various types of footsteps to quickly build slow or fast step sequences, as well as sounds of attacks, violent blows and aggressive combat.
Unlock a whole universe of possible scenarios: A horde of goblins living in the mountains, building wooden bridges, digging with shovels and picks in underground mines, blowing up stone walls. Trolls cutting wood with their axes in the forest or wading in the mud. All these sounds are intuitive and ready to use, or can be edited to create your world. The background ambience in the demo is not part of the product but is added free of charge.
‘Mountain Dweller – Orc Sound Effects’ is the perfect source of inspiration to create movies such as ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and video games like Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, Warcraft and more.
ELS is a library that contains electromagnetic field recordings. It features source material ranging from household objects, drones, vehicles and radiology equipment.
During the recording process, the goal was to find and record sounds that mainly had a distinctive and musical profile rather than simply just noise.
All of the included content was recorded with a LOM Elektrosluch Mini City at 24bit/ 96khz. The files have only been processed and cleaned to isolate the sounds from other components.
The designed section contains few different ready to use sounds.Â
Box Abuse II is a sequel collection to the original Box Abuse sound pack, with even more aggressive cuts, punches, kicks and drops, inflicted on a whole new batch of cardboard boxes.
And yes, multiple boxes were harmed during the recording of this project!
All sounds recorded and edited at 24-bit / 96kHz, with embedded meta data and accompanying spreadsheet.
“Ice Fury by Flysound” is a sound library of ice breaking to pieces in as full a variety of ways as possible. This is a thesaurus of the various ways ice gets undone, with blasts and crashes as well as scrapes and swishes and cracks and splinters too.
Ice Fury is recorded on two superb ultra low-noise Neumann D-01 digital mics at 96k/24bit in a fantastic foley studio. Our equipment and processing make it ideal for downpitching and other tweaking to match your project.
The full range of 348 sounds from the ice is thanks to a spread of massive and moderate ice blocks, that have been obliterated by a variety of implements such as a kettle bell, saws, picks, bars, drills, and a bat! If your project involves the sound of frozen water, allow us to break the ice…
“Sense” is an exciting collection of textures to enrich the sonic world of your Sci-fi production. If you need that extra ingredient when you are creating a dense and deep Sci-fi atmosphere, this library can help you to achieve that.
Movements, atmospheric elements and energies are some of the things you will find in this pack of sounds. Sounds with a strong and futuristic feeling, elements that are a great addition to your collection.

In addition to being a great library for Horror or Sci-fi games and movies, this collection works well for trailers too.
Tension Resonator – Metallic Cable Oscillation SFX Library
Raw metallic resonance, captured in the wild.
This library delivers a focused collection of high-fidelity metallic tension recordings, sourced from a real suspended steel cable stretched between two mountain structures.
Using a Geofòn and Cojossul contact microphone positioned at key resonance points, every vibration, harmonic, and oscillation was captured with extreme detail. When struck or set in motion, the cable acted like a giant string oscillator, producing:
-Resonant pulses and impact transients
-Frequency sweeps traveling along the cable
-Rich physical harmonics and metallic overtones
All sounds are presented clean, unprocessed, and phase-aligned, making them highly versatile for:
-Layering into energy weapons, plasma blasters, or sci-fi UI
-Designing bass pulses, industrial drones, and tension risers
-Creating cinematic impacts or motion design SFX with tactile realism
Specs:
-192kHz / 24-bit WAV
-Metadata embedded (UCS compliant)
-Recorded in pristine outdoor mountain environment
-100% royalty-free
Perfect for sound designers, trailer editors, and experimental composers seeking a unique, resonant metallic source.
Pipe Noise & Flow is a sound effects library built around the hidden voices of pipe systems, large and small. Captured over several years across industrial plants, residential buildings, factories, sewers, underground tunnels, caves and public infrastructure, this collection brings together a wide range of sonically rich material.
You’ll hear water, gas, and air moving through pipes made of metal steel, copper, aluminium, plastic, glass, concrete, and stone. There are massive flows and subtle trickles, bursts of pressure, hollow resonances, eerie whistles, and the strange tonalities that emerge when systems crack, leak, or fail. Many recordings feature broken or deteriorating pipes, full of texture and unpredictability. While there is plenty of industrial and subterranean grit, you’ll also find more subtle sources like kitchen sinks, bathroom plumbing, and everyday interior systems; sounds that can lend realism or eeriness to intimate scenes.
This library is designed to be flexible and inspiring. Use it to create detailed ambiences for sci-fi, horror, and post-apocalyptic settings, to build layered mechanical textures for machines and user interfaces, or to design unique elements for hybrid weapons, alien devices, strange creatures or abandoned environments. Whether you need the realism of urban infrastructure or the surreal qualities of a forgotten machine, Pipe Noise & Flow offers an unexpected toolkit full of possibility.
Oil-Paper Umbrellas is a collection of sound effects recorded from three sizes of traditional oil-paper umbrellas.

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
