The Future Weapons sci-fi sound effects series is back with our newest and most cutting edge library yet: Future Weapons 3. We made this one huge, both in size and scope. In fact, since we are concluding the Future Weapons series, we wanted to do it with a bang, so we made this one the biggest of the 3! It has over 29 weapons and categories! Future Weapons 3 was created by SoundMorph in collaboration with Nikolay Semenov and Vedran Kapetinic.
Future Weapons 3 features more than 750+ files, 1.2 GB of 24bit/96khz .WAV files, all meticulously embedded with Soundminer and Basehead metadata.
Cargo Trucks is a collection of on-board multi-channel recordings of heavy goods vehicles, also known as cargo trucks or lorries. The first truck in the library is a 2012 Mercedes-Benz Actros semi end dump truck, a vehicle used to haul tarmac and other material from quarries in Europe. It is powered by a 12 liter V6 Diesel engine doing 480 HP and sounds as mean as you can imagine.
Important! More trucks will be added to the collection as they are recorded. Get your copy now and you will receive all subsequent updates for free.
Tension is a collection of atmospheres, drones, musical sound design, darkness, noise, and distortion for creating moments of anxiety, ominous soundscapes, or musical foreboding highlights. Created by Charles Maynes (sound designer) and Jason Payne (musical composer) Tension creates a balance where both sound design and musical undertones collide. Tension gets you 430+ sounds and 7.5GB of 24bit/96khz files, all meticulously embedded with Soundminer & Basehead metadata.

• In Bowed Cactus 2, get massive cacti covered with menacing 4 to 6 inch spikes. Take a violin bow to these long spines and hear guttural screeches with stuttering bass and grit. Hear wobbling bass as long needles are plucked and clear musical pitches pinging. Hear thick, bowed spines performed to sound like large mammals and whistling whines only the grit of a cactus needle can create.
• This library offers you an extension to Bowed Cactus 1. Use both libraries together to create otherworldly creatures brimming with ultrasonic energy.

• In Pacific Northwest: Storm Waves, get an expansive collection of storm waves from Rialto Beach, a driftwood filled shoreline of Olympic National Park. Hear massive 25 ft swells breaking and sea foam froth sloshing on rounded pebbles. Hear violent slurping as water is sucked out after each massive wave. Hear wave resonance tuned to perfection by driftwood logs a millennium old. Hear distant storm buoys droning their ominous warning and bats circling with ultrasonic clicks. Hear a coastline gradually eroded by Pacific waves. A place where massive spruce stumps are still rooted in the beach, desperately holding to the earth as the soil is stripped from their roots. Press a contact mic to one of those stumps and hear the heartbeat of the ocean. The vibrations from crashing waves move through rocks and roots to create stunning resonances in the wood! I hope this library gives you a chance to hear the ocean in a way you haven’t heard it before. Enjoy listening to a large collection of storm waves from one of the most iconic beaches in North America.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
