    “The Shoe Collection: Soft Hardwood – High Top Converse Sneaker“ by Periscope Post & Audio, provides 22 high quality footsteps on soft hardwood floors with the high top converse sneaker.  The audio files are recorded at 24bit, 192k with mono and stereo recordings.  The Sennheiser MKH-60 was used for the mono files with a slightly more distant mic placement than the stereo files, which were recorded with the Sennheiser MKH8050 and the Sennheiser MKH-30 near the shoe.  From different walking speeds, to jogging, sprinting, jumping, hard stops, scuffs, and more! There are several performances with each file to fit the right action you need.  That’s a whopping 468 footsteps between the mono and stereo files!

  • City Life Sound Effects London Ambisonics Play Track 110 sounds included From: $69

    London Ambisonics is a collection of 55 immersive city ambience recordings from the streets, parks and subways of London, England. Use these versatile sounds to enliven your scenes with an authentic city atmosphere. Recorded in 24-bit/96kHz with a Sennheiser AMBEO VR mic, London Ambisonics was captured at various locations throughout London including St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Palace Theatre, the River Thames and more. Detailed metadata includes coordinates and cross streets for maximum geographic clarity.

    To capture these stunning ambiences, recordist Matt Snedecor traversed London with the goal of capturing its essence. In his own words:

    “London, although there’s a lot of English, just has a different feel and sound than a major US city. So I was partly looking for urban sounds, but also getting the feel of the city itself. It was definitely not as big and loud as NYC and there’s also things like different sirens and horns than we have here.”

    This library includes SurroundZone2 software by TSL Products that allows you to control the Ambisonics files by pointing “virtual microphones” any direction with a wide range of polar patterns. Unparalleled flexibility lets users match backgrounds with the specific setting of any scene.

    The Ambisonics recordings can be decoded to mono, stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and beyond. In addition to giving sound editors and mixers greater flexibility and control over the recordings, these recordings are also perfect for 3D Audio applications including VR and 360º video.

  • Train Sound Effects Runaway Trains Play Track 216 sounds included, 118 mins total $79

    Immerse yourself in the second library of the Ambisonics series by USO. These “Runaway Trains” were recorded with a Senneheiser Ambeo and a Sonosax R4+ in and around the Milano Greco Pirelli railway station, which is part of the so-called “Milan Circle Line,” a railway loop which circumnavigates the city.
    The library contains a lot of passing trains and ambient sounds recorded very close to the railway, both by day and by night. There has been no further processing, although I did carefully remove all the Italian P.A. announcements, to make life easier for the editors during the sound montage.
    A useful bonus, too: you will find some ready-to-use backgrounds as “airfill” between the passing trains to create continuity in a longer scene, if need be. The ambient sounds are also great as a standalone!

The proximity effect of the MC59 cardioid microphone brings out the rich low frequencies of the purr, giving it a tactile and soothing presence. Every sound is designed to feel close, soft, and real, even if the sounds are mono. The mono format creates an immersive, grounded feel — ideal for projects that benefit from a direct, unembellished sound rather than broad stereo space.

    Though compact in size, the library was crafted with care to extract the most emotionally resonant tones from these everyday moments of feline life.
