Drones & Mood Sound Effects

Atmospheric drones and ambiences – light and dark, beautiful and eerie, lively and serene

  • Need to create suspense, tension and movement in your production? AXmos Cinematic Guitars is great for you.

Atmospheric elements, crazy chords, impacts, movements, reverses, soundscapes, distorted melodies, musical sound design and transitions are some of the things you will find in this collection, produced using a stratocaster type electric guitar. For that reason the sounds have a deep and musical feeling with such versatility that you can use them as effects or to enhance musical productions, generate a sound design musical moment and even compose tracks.

Apart of being a great library for Horror or Sci-fi games and movies, this collection is great for trailers too.

    Sounds included:

Atmospheric elements (designed, distortion, high, low and tremolo) • Chords (evocative chords, dark arpeggios and fantasy) • Impacts • Melodies • Movements • Pads • Reverses • Soundscapes (surreal and tension) • Transitions

  • Bells & Bowls – a collection of 86 files/100MB glass & ceramic bell sound effects in 24bit/96kHz mono – all UCS-compliant.

I give you 14 different bell-like objects, each multi-sampled for maximum expressiveness, tuned to the nearest musical note and ready to drop into your favorite sampler and play away. Ranging from only slightly complex sine waves, to strange wobbles and beat frequencies, these actual physical bowls, plates and vases had some pretty amazing musical sounds in them. Many of them took surprisingly little pitch-alterations to reach a musical note – almost as if some glassware factory wanted them to be struck with mallets and recorded!

    You get:

    • Clean, high quality sounds
    • All sounds tuned to nearest musical note
    • All files trimmed to start, for ease of use in samplers
    • Several variations per recorded object = organic and expressive productions
    • UCS-file names
    • Metadata included in CSV and ODS (OpenOffice) formats
  • Signal Return is a performable Kontakt instrument and soundset designed to create a wide variety of interesting and textured sounds.

All of the source material comes from recordings of various devices feeding back into themselves either electrically or acoustically. No software based speaker emulators or distortions were used in the creation of these sounds. Comes with 250 .wav files – more than 2 hours of recordings + 22 Kontakt instruments (these require the full version of NI Kontakt 5.0 or higher).

Note: Can be used without Kontakt too!
All Kontakt instrument libraries include fully unlocked and accessible metadata tagged .wav files. You don't need any version of Kontakt to use these files as a standalone sample library.

Created for those moments when inspiration may be running dry, all of the sounds are ready to drop straight into your project to use as they are, or can be chopped, layered, mangled and processed to your liking.

A’mixed-bag’ sound library featuring deep tones, scary atmospheres, ambient textures, whooshes, transitions, loops, user interface sounds and much more. This one is really handy to have around, you never know what you may find to bring that idea to fruition!

  • This library was built primarily using two different modular synthesizer systems.  One based on the Korg MS-20 and the other based on the Pittsburgh Modular Lifeforms 201.  Included in this library you will find various one shots and hits alongside longer evolving textures and drones.  The library was created in a very non-musical way and as such most of what you hear is noisy, gritty and a-tonal.  The library can be used effectively for Sci-Fi Weapons, User Interfaces, Droids and Robots, Ambient Textures and many more possibilities.

  • This small sound library contains all the original CPU fan and hard disk noises emitted by the following vintage Apple MACs, each with its own unique texture:

    • Power Macintosh 4400

    • Macintosh Classic
    • Macintosh Mac G4
    • Macintosh Mac LC 475

The material contains a lot of mechanical noises and different startup chimes, plus a lot of boot sequences with all the hard drives/fans spinning and whirring.

  • Metal Sound Effects Performed Orchestral Percussion Play Track 523+ sounds included, 505 mins total $119

Sounds for this library were recorded in amazing sounding film scoring studio and performed on orchestral set of top-end Kolberg percussion instruments. The intention was to perform organic sound effects resonated by musical instruments and not regular musical samples.

Sounds were generated with a few different rubbers, mallets and a bow. They were performed to be used for abstract sound design elements, as well as emotional big creatures vocalizations. You will find there many growls and moans, which can be used for example as designed whale vocalizations.

Recordings were done on microphones with extended frequency range: Schoeps CMC6XT, Sanken CO-100k and Trance Inducer (which also records up to 50kHz), which makes them ideal source for pitch-shifting.

Please note: Pitch shifted files in the demo are presented only to show potential of those recordings and aren't included in the library. No additional processing was done on all sounds.

  • Motion Texures is a broad library with a narrow purpose: to draw sonic lines and create gently moving sonic textures.

The concept is that consistent sound of friction will translate well to visual design elements that have CG and text movement on screen.

We recorded the friction sounds of dozens of small to medium sized props in constant motion. Major categories include metal, plastic, cloth, wood and skin. Some of the most interesting sounds came from the props that had small cavities such as the spray can lid and the water bottle. The constant changing of the cavity state relative to the mics creates strange vocal sounds.

Once the sounds were recorded we employed a proprietary smoothing process as a second pass to the sounds and provided them in addition to the original textures. These smoothed out sounds still have the organic quality of the original recordings, but with far fewer transient events. The end result are sounds that feel straighter than the more circular sounding original textures.

Inside of the Kontakt instruments we stacked layers and effects to create a broad base of deep and interesting textures. Many of the Kontakt presets mangle the sounds far beyond recognition of the original recordings.

    Motion Textures features

    • 92 unique original samples
    • 92 smoothed samples
    • 25 Kontakt unlocked design .nki files
    • 22 Kontakt unlocked raw texture .nki files
    • .nki files require full version of NI Kontakt 4 or higher

Note: Can be used without Kontakt too!
All Kontakt instrument libraries include fully unlocked and accessible metadata tagged .wav files. You don't need any version of Kontakt to use these files as a standalone sample library.
