  • MaK is a Kontakt instrument which replicates the sounds of a person using various computer keyboards, mice, or touchscreen devices. This allows you to very quickly perform the foley of using one of these devices via midi.

There are 15 devices available in MaK: 5 Keyboards, 5 Mice, 2 Touchscreens, and 3 digital keyboards. Each of these devices has been meticulously recorded at a number of different velocities for a very realistic playback performance.

The majority of the devices have 5 velocity layers; from soft to hard. Each of these velocity layers have 32 different samples: 16 for the press sound, and 16 for the release sounds of each device. That’s 160 samples per device! MaK will randomly trigger press and release samples for each layer based on the velocity you play the notes. Easy to use controls allow you to adjust additional layers of randomness in both velocity and pitch. All of this adds up to realistic devices, and convincing performance. This library requires the full version of NI Kontakt (not included)

  • Drones & Moods Yvaine Play Track 1400 sounds included, 740 mins total $38

A massive electro-acoustic drone SFX library reft from a custom designed and hand-built instrument! These drones were coaxed from a unique instrument using the power of air.  No harsh picking or plucking, just assorted techniques for moving air deftly across the strings.

The guitar, Yvaine, was recorded simultaneously via two tracks (one direct and another amped and mic'd) and was set to 23 different tunings to encompass the full spectrum of her voice, character, and soul. The tunings are as follows:

    All5ths | B6th | Capo12th | CassianoPereiraViana | CrossnoteF | Cuba | DADGAD | DropB | Hawaiian | Koto | OpenA | OpenC | OpenD | OpenE | OpenF | OpenG | OpenPage | Orkney | Ostrich | Pentatonic | “Spira” | Standard | TheEdge

The files range from uber clean and harmonic to gritty, crackling, and distorted. For some of the overdriven amped recordings, we even experimented with creative NR settings for the modulation of artificial harmonics…and kept some of the more colorful results! Between the two different tracks, multiple takes were made per strength, per position, per recording. Depending on which takes were best, some of the DI and amped captures matched, while others were physically different. This offers unique layering capabilities for some sets while allowing for variety in others. Some of the sets are missing particular strength recordings at specific positions. But if a capture wasn't appropriate, we didn't include it.

This is a bountiful collection of droning goodness. Use it for good.

  • Need high-impact car crash sounds – captured from both the inside and outside of a car? While there are no sounds of actual monsters attacking a car, there's certainly a lot of of recordings of sound-guys jumping on car roofs, beating car doors, smashing windshields and destroying paint jobs, with a big axe, and a crowbar.

Low sense DPA 4061 microphones were placed inside a car, and different actions were performed on it, like hitting, dragging, jumping, stepping and other improvising actions.

Microphones were also placed inside and outside the car, and windshields were smashed, with crowbars. These recordings covered the massive impacts as well as the small detailed glass pieces falling inside the car.

  • This collection started as a mic test and turned into a library. What is unique about the collection is that the phone was taken apart so you get each individual element as clean as possible. It was recorded with shotgun mics, a TLM 103 to see how it sounded with something other than dialogue, and a Cold Gold contact mic at 96 khz, which was the biggest surprise as it sounds like a high definition retro mic when placed on the back of the phone's rotary dial. Skip the antique hunt and listen to these vintage sounds.

  • Whooshes Tubular Play Track 365 sounds included, 62 mins total $38

This library is the result of tinkering with shotgun mics recording inside of different tube structures. When our initial tests produced a wide range of sonic colors, we went all in.

The tubes used include organic and man-made materials, some rigid, some flexible, some dense, some light, all with varying lengths, diameters, and thicknesses. They consist of bamboo, PVC, 2 variations of vinyl, thin plastic, copper, tin, rubber, dense foam, and a steel-coiled membrane. Each material has a different effect on the sounds passing through them. We generated turbulent drones, thick strikes, resonant scrapes, noisy bells, delicate debris, and more. The overarching characteristics are soft, insulated, and misty. Due to the behavior of the waves in the open tubes and the pickup pattern of the shotgun mics, there is a natural frequency modulation that gives the sound a slightly narrowed, hollow timbre. They work very well in simulated settings, enclosed spaces, and when there is a need to exaggerate the magnitude of tiny worlds. But they are equally as useful as raw design fodder, especially when a unique texture is needed.

This is our first library created solely for the sake of experimentation, though based on the results, it may not be the last!

  • Environments Athens & Crete Play Track 75+ sounds included, 400 mins total $66

Ya su, Kalós órises, and welcome to Athens & Crete!

From the ancient bustling markets to the untouched natural beauty of the Mediterranean coast, this library epitomises the notion of two sonic worlds colliding. We set out with the goal of capturing this historical part of the world and quickly learned this could only be done by fully embracing this polarity. So here we are, two libraries in one and boy is it a cracker!!

    Athens

This capital city, steeped in history, wrestles elegantly with the old and new. Market trader calls fill the archaic streets as they have for centuries before whilst across town the modern heart of Athens beats to the sound of cars and motor bikes.

We captured street buskers, back alley murmurs, bustling city squares, markets, heavy traffic, skylines and even a religious sermon!

    Crete

400km away from the chaos of Athens sits the serene island of Crete, a picture of unchanged Mediterranean life. Unlike Athens, nature dominates here and we got our ankles wet recording all she has to offer; big surf, coves and gurgling rock pools. Mountain goats, crows, roosters and an early dawn chorus. Insects of the Agia Erini Gorge – more Cicadas than you can shake a stick at!

So whether it's Game of Thrones or the next Bourne film, this beast will help bring your locations to life!

  • Foley Helinä Play Track 754+ sounds included, 225 mins total $80

“Helinä” can be translated as “the tinkling sound made by the shaking of tiny bells”.  These may be wind chimes, and some are quite large, but the meaning of the name still rings true.  Beautiful, glorious, and entrancing wind chimes, all stirred up for your designing and listening pleasure.

We've meticulously recorded and only very lightly edited 15 different sets of wind chimes composed of varying materials, shapes, and sizes. The result is a stirring array of shimmering textures from the soft dull knock of bamboo to the brilliant crystalline sparkle of obsidian.

The chimes sets and performances include:

Chimes: Bamboo, Glass Shards, Porcelain Bell, Cast iron Bell, Glass Bell, Stoneware, Obsidian, Buoy, Paper/Mixed, Copper, Aluminum, Bronze, Agate, Shells, Capiz

Performances: Flowing (Short, Med, Long), Breeze (Light), Windy (Moderate), Stormy (Heavy), Quaking, Plops, Gusts, Strikes, Grabbing, Releasing

You'll get incredible tonal depth, preciously sustained tails, and conveniently isolated strikes and “gusts” resulting in a natural representation of each chime.  All of the chime-work was recorded in 192 kHz so you can bend, stretch, and twist with the comfort of the extended harmonic content of each chime.  All of the performances resulted in 50 separate files for each of the 15 chimes, making layering and matching performances a breeze.  In addition to the chime sets, we've included four stereo wind captures, in different capacities and locations, for adding context and ambiance to any wind chime-appropriate environment you may find yourself working on.
