    Singing Slates is a unique cinematic Kontakt library built from sample recordings of a rare, custom built percussion instrument, perfect for adding an African or Tribal inspired melody into your music.

    The handcrafted instrument we used was built from natural Welsh slate, by carefully tuning each piece and cutting it to size. Our Audio Craftsmen experimented with different types of beaters before recording to capture the most natural sound in this one of a kind instrument.

    We then meticulously edited, balanced and programmed 13 different patches and integrated them into our Kontakt interface, giving Music Producers and Film Composers an extensive set of rare sounds. We have implemented 3 octaves of tuned slate sounds, which provides a positive, uplifting sound and can be used as a replacement for a Kalimba. This exotic instrument is perfect for creating cinematic scores, percussion loops and music of different genres.

    As always with our Kontakt releases, our in-house composers designed 12 additional patches including kick drums, snares, kalimba, riser, creepy alarms, monster laughter and much more to add extra tonal and atonal elements to your music.

    Our user-friendly Kontakt interface provides a variety of controls that encourage experimentation with the patches. The built in Arpeggiator and Step Sequencer are great for generating hundreds of percussion/lead variations on the fly. We also dedicated ADSR controls to shape your sounds while the main view provides various effects and controls to design unique sounds.

    To capture such a wide array of sounds, our Audio Craftsmen and Matias used a variety of equipment ranging from typical directional microphones to experimental electromagnetic receivers, recording a weird and wonderful collection of items such as seashells, radiators, shovels, typewriters, various metal objects, hand drums, analogue synthesizers and even a thunder tube. Producing 250+ ear-opening designed sounds spanning from colossal hits to thrilling braams and much, much more. All files come in 24bit 96kHz allowing for further manipulation and can be dropped into your timeline individually or combined to create extraordinary moments of sound design for your trailers.

    OB-E – is our take on the legendary 8-Voice. More than just an emulation, OB-E offers a unique musical experience. Sounding HUGE, it takes the iconic Synthesiser Expander Module based 8-Voice (a.k.a the EVS) into new sonic territory via a raft of enhancements and additions.

    The concept of the 8-Voice is actually very simple; based around a single Module containing two VCOs with Pulse and Sawtooth waveforms, two ADS Envelope Generators, one LFO, and a magical Multi-Mode Filter. In isolation each Module is monophonic, but in the 8-Voice, because there are eight Modules triggered by a polyphonic keyboard, you have a superb eight note polyphonic synthesiser. While simple at heart, OB-E is, to our knowledge, the first virtual instrument with complete per-voice control. This unique Octaphonic architecture offers fresh and exciting creative possibilities to music producers, composers and sound designers for the first time in the digital realm.

It combines rich, warm analog processing with a straightforward user interface, and comes with a comprehensive library of presets. The plug-in processor is highly flexible and can be used for both softknee compression and brick-wall limiting. This makes it an essential tool for mixing and mastering engineers. Careful attention has been paid to PSP Vintage Warmer’s overload characteristics with the processor being capable of generating saturation effects typical of analog tape recorders. PSP Vintage Warmer also incorporates professional VU and PPM metering together with accurate overload indicators thereby assuring professional quality results.

    PSP VintageWarmer2 version installer contains 3 versions of the plug-in:

The plug-in is able to emulate the main features of two types of limiter: VCA-limiters, which is a modern type of analog limiter, and Opto-limiters which are vintage optical limiters. Keep in mind, however, that PSP Twin-L’s limiting algorithms are not intended to emulate any specific hardware but rather to bring the capabilities of both types into a versatile plug-in.
