    Vintage Air Travel – Planes, airports, stewardesses, pilots, announcements and more.

    This pack contains some of the sounds associated with vintage air travel. Not a specific decade (some parts will be suitable for a contemporary setting), but think of the film ‘Catch Me If You Can’, 60s 70s 80s. An era when smoking was still allowed on planes, when PAN AM and TWA ruled the skies. I have created these ambiences, voices and sounds to suit that era.
    There are two ‘tourist information’ tapes, based on the audio that would have accompanied a slide show for visitors to London and Los Angeles.
    There are public address announcements that you might hear in an airport.
    There’s stewardess VO as heard in the cabin of a jumbo jet and stewardess greetings as you board. A few pilot announcements, sounds of busy jumbo jets in-flight from a passenger perspective.     In addition, you can choose the most appropriate sound for your project, since each sound is provided in three distance options (close, middle and distant). This is useful when working with movies and video games. Recording was made in the studio. All files have metadata on the caliber used by the weapon as well as some other details.

    The Construction Zone library consists of 260 HQ recordings of a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles and construction workers engaged in raucous activities such as driving around, digging holes, flattening surfaces and more, that will satisfy your appetite for… construction!

    Specifically, the library comes with sounds of dump trucks moving debris, hungry excavators, bulldozers pushing rocks, loud drilling hammers, cranes, asphalt paving machinery and screeching crawlers.     FabFilter has put tremendous effort in creating the best cut-off filter ever. Their new design approach has resulted in the fattest and smoothest self-oscillating digital filter you have ever heard. It has been tuned carefully to achieve the character and warmth of a classic analog synthesizer. FabFilter One’s filter sounds raw but never cheap or ‘digital’, even at full resonance.
    The filter is fed by an equally high-quality solid-sounding oscillator, developed from scratch to be completely aliasing-free. It features sawtooth, triangle, and square wave forms with pulse width modulation.

    The oscillator and the filter can be modulated by the LFO and the EG. The LFO offers triangle and square wave forms, with adjustable wave balance so any wave form between sawtooth and triangle can be selected. The tempo can be synchronized to the host. The EG has the usual ADSR knobs, but with a perfectly fine-tuned feel. Also, it has an additional Hold setting that extends the time keys are held down.

    What FabFilter One excels at is the attention to detail and fine-tuning that is visible throughout the plug-in. For example, the portamento feature doesn’t just slide from one note to another, but uses a carefully selected algorithm to make your playing livelier and give it just that little extra bit of magic.

    Smart Parameter Interpolation handles changes to any of FabFilter One’s parameters, ensuring both responsiveness and smooth transitions. There are no annoying digital clicks and zipper effects, and even MIDI controller changes are handled perfectly smooth.

    Naturally, the FabFilter One plug-in handles all parameter changes at sample accuracy and it can be used with arbitrary sample rates. All parameters are fully automatable within your favorite host and via MIDI Learn.
