Vehicle sound effects and recordings – cars, helicopters, motorcycles, airplanes, ships, trains and sci-fi

  • This is a vintage classic and highly sought after make and model of cafe racer. It’s just enough grit to give some bite and just enough age to give it character. This library includes drive bys, static revs, city driving, straight aways, engine braking, and more! With two very different sounding and unique microphone perspectives on the exhaust and engine you get a variety of options to choose from. Enjoy this rippin’ classic!

  • There is nothing more adrenaline pumping than the raw uninhibited roar of an open stock modified race car gripping and burning the asphalt! Not one but two different modified vehicles are included in this sound library. The sounds created by these vehicles are like nothing you can find in a run of the mill muscle car. Coupling an open stock with some seriously reckless after-market modifications, these beastly engines will make your hair stand straight up as they roar and gurgle with unimaginable power. These sounds were captured with some of the best shotgun mics in the world, bringing you an extraordinary fuel burning sound set complete with engine revs, pass-bys, burnouts, starts, stops, stalls and more! Get ready to blast off with these raging monster vehicles as they grip the road and blast off!

  • Low-price. High-quality. Essential.

A collection of 50 remote-controlled car sounds, including travel loops, revvings, starts, stops, wheels turning and jamming errors.

The sounds are fully compatible with the Universal Category System (UCS) – a public domain initiative establishing a standardized category list for the classification of sound effects.

Note: All of these sounds (and more!) are included in the 96 General Library (get 3,000+ SFX for FREE!)

  • All files are recorded 32bit, 192 kHz, with Rode NTG1, Rode Lavalier and Shure VP88 microphones, Sound Devices MixPre-6 II recorder. Library contains wav files of driving and exterior foley, mechanical and electrical sounds.

  • Traffic Sound Effects Car Protest Play Track 46+ sounds included, 260 mins total $20

This sound library features recordings of a car protest that took place in Gdynia, Poland. Due to changes in abortion law many people showed up on the streets. Since we’re in the middle of COVID outbreak, people decided to support the cause by using their engines and horns. I’ve taped two stereo sets to my car, and went there to capture it from both exterior and interior (one mono and one stereo setup) perspectives. This library features different location ambients, from subtle distant horns, through loud “peak” of the event recorded in the middle of everything that happened, up to masses of people walking by. Everything was recorded with stereo setup on the front of the car, stereo setup on the back of the car + two interior perspectives with windows closed, partially and fully opened. Also ambients were recorded with and without my contribution to the noise, that means that some files have my horn and engine revs, and some don’t. There’s plenty of material to choose from.

  • Travel & Transportation Vintage Air Travel Play Track 109 sounds included, 54 mins total $10

Vintage Air Travel – Planes, airports, stewardesses, pilots, announcements and more.

This pack contains some of the sounds associated with vintage air travel. Not a specific decade (some parts will be suitable for a contemporary setting), but think of the film ‘Catch Me If You Can’, 60s 70s 80s. An era when smoking was still allowed on planes, when PAN AM and TWA ruled the skies. I have created these ambiences, voices and sounds to suit that era.
There are two ‘tourist information’ tapes, based on the audio that would have accompanied a slide show for visitors to London and Los Angeles.
There are public address announcements that you might hear in an airport.
There’s stewardess VO as heard in the cabin of a jumbo jet and stewardess greetings as you board. A few pilot announcements, sounds of busy jumbo jets in-flight from a passenger perspective. A ride in a Cessna, with pilot chatter, planes passing overhead and more. For a full list of sounds, view the excel document, and play the preview file for a taster.

  • A collection of ambiences from underneath every railway bridge crossing the Thames in London. All recordings made with a pair of DPA 4060s into a Tascam Dr-100mk3.

  • Animal Sound Effects Animal Hyperrealism Vol III Play Track 1711 sounds included $170

Animal Hyperrealism Vol III is a library containing sounds themed animal vocalisations, from real to designed creatures totaling more than 1700 individual sounds in 279 files.

The sounds were recorded in zoos and wildlife centers. The asset list includes but is not limited to: european red deers, monkeys, reindeers, hornbills camels, crickets, tamarins, boars, frogs, red ruffed lemurs, parrots, and many more.

The content has been recorded at 192KHz with a Sanken CO100K plus a Sennheiser 8050 for center image and a couple of Sennheiser MKH8040 for stereo image.
Part of the cheats section of the library features samples recorded at 384KHz. For these sounds an additional microphone was employed, specifically the CMPA by Avisoft-Bioacoustics which records up to 200 KHz. This microphone was used to record most of the library but the 384KHz format was preserved only where energy was found beyond 96KHz not to occupy unnecessary disk space.
All files are delivered as stereo bounce of these for mics, though in some instances an additional couple of CO100K was added to the sides.
The resulting ultrasonic spectrum is rich and allows for truly extreme manipulation of the content.

Bonus: Two extra libraries included for free:
This library also includes two additional releases from Mattia Cellotto - for free: Crunch Mode delivers 230 crunchy sounds made with a variety of vegetables, fresh bread, pizza crust and a selection of frozen goods. The Borax Experiment gets you 158 squishy, gory, slimy and gooey sounds.
  • Audiobeast is proud to present our second sample library; the only library of its kind to focus entirely on weapons being fired in urban environments!  For this recording session we were given access to a military training site known as a FIBUA (Fighting In Built-Up Area) consisting of streets with a variety of buildings, vehicles, and exclusive permission to fire weapons in several locations.  Pictures of the street and gas station locations and firing points are included.

The aim of this library was to offer the slapback type tails needed for gun sound design for convincing city scenes in film, games and tv production.  It’s always been difficult to find gun recordings in a city environment so we hope this library helps sound people everywhere.

This Library contains over 3 GBs of weapons being fired in multiple urban environments, a street, outside of a gas station and inside of a tower block. 218 WAV files of single shots, bursts and many with multiple takes, all recorded at 96 khz 24 bit, with heaps of information on microphones used and distance from the firearms.

Various distances were captured, from the DPA4062 on the guns themselves, to the distant other end of the street 100 metres away. To add, some mics were positioned around corners, a nearby graveyard, through walls and in armored vehicles to capture a variety of perspectives.

Minimal cleanup on the recordings was carried out very carefully so as not to introduce any artefacts into the recordings, they are presented as raw as possible.

If you need a wider selection of interior gun recordings please check out our first library – The London Warehouse Firearms library
