This library is the result of tinkering with shotgun mics recording inside of different tube structures. When our initial tests produced a wide range of sonic colors, we went all in.
The tubes used include organic and man-made materials, some rigid, some flexible, some dense, some light, all with varying lengths, diameters, and thicknesses. They consist of bamboo, PVC, 2 variations of vinyl, thin plastic, copper, tin, rubber, dense foam, and a steel-coiled membrane. Each material has a different effect on the sounds passing through them. We generated turbulent drones, thick strikes, resonant scrapes, noisy bells, delicate debris, and more. The overarching characteristics are soft, insulated, and misty. Due to the behavior of the waves in the open tubes and the pickup pattern of the shotgun mics, there is a natural frequency modulation that gives the sound a slightly narrowed, hollow timbre. They work very well in simulated settings, enclosed spaces, and when there is a need to exaggerate the magnitude of tiny worlds. But they are equally as useful as raw design fodder, especially when a unique texture is needed.
This is our first library created solely for the sake of experimentation, though based on the results, it may not be the last!
This collection started as a mic test and turned into a library. What is unique about the collection is that the phone was taken apart so you get each individual element as clean as possible. It was recorded with shotgun mics, a TLM 103 to see how it sounded with something other than dialogue, and a Cold Gold contact mic at 96 khz, which was the biggest surprise as it sounds like a high definition retro mic when placed on the back of the phone's rotary dial. Skip the antique hunt and listen to these vintage sounds.

Analog Interface is a powerful and diverse custom UI sound effects library made by recording, performing and manipulating outboard analog subtractive synthesizers and physical hardware. Hand crafted synthesis performances recorded at 96khz provide a rich pallet of sonic elements which are then designed further into complex, expressive and wildly useful sounds for sci-fi sound design, UI, motion graphic sound design, heads up display, text on screen and beyond. This library covers everything from the cleanest and simple UI selects to the grittiest of glitchy textures of sci-fi telemetry.

https://vimeo.com/823119250
The elements are raw yet curated analog performances and textures that provide an endless sonic playground of building blocks for sound designers to craft into original manifestations. By design the instruments selected for this library project were mono subtractive synths of old and new to perform and collect patches in rich and simple states. Each synth selected provide their own aesthetic and character that culminate into a one of a kind sonic signature. The use of purely analog synthesis creates unique sounds that cannot be replicated exactly the same way twice. The slight variations in the components and the environment used can affect the produced sonic character, creating an intangible magic impossible to achieve with software alone. Complimenting the synths are collections of custom EMF recordings, servos and mechanical switches, breaking the third wall from within the machine to the physical world.
The designed sounds are the combined works of four career sound designers at Dallas Audio Post. The analog elements were layered, morphed, programmed and re-contextualized in both meticulous hand crafted methods and complex parameter randomization processes. The combined results are a collection of beautiful, compelling and engaging sounds that we believe are extremely needed in the modern sound design ecosphere.
Complimenting the vast UI collection are analog transitions designed for use of motion, doppler effects and signify a sample of future libraries in the making.
The end result is a sound effects library that’s not only incredibly versatile but also highly creative.
Enjoy!

This huge sound library has been meticulously recorded over countless hours of perusing the depths of second-hand stores and charity shops. The library contains an original set of peculiar toys and other oddities. While ideally suited for Foley, this pack is also sure to delight any sound designer or fan of original and unusual sounds. It features mechanisms, pop-ups, clicks, winding, jangles and shaking, to name just a few actions. If you’re looking for unusual sounds to mangle, then this just might be the pack for you!
All files are meta-tagged (Soundminer) and labelled.
Recorded using Neumann KMR 81i and Sound Devices field recorder. Very lightly mastered using Izotope RX8 Advanced.
This library features recordings of sounds that were dubbed to 25 year old cassette tapes and then played back using a unique cassette manipulation device. The cassette tape reels are controlled manually by hand via a turning knob, allowing for speeding up/slowing down the pitch and speed while also controlling the rhythm, much like scratching vinyl. The existing sounds recorded to tape combined with the wow and flutter of the worn out tape, and manual speed playback create unique new sounds, including glitched tones, gritty blips, scratching, and percussive hits.
All files are recorded 32bit, 192 kHz, with Rode NTG1 and Shure VP88 microphones, Sound Devices MixPre-6 II recorder. Library contains wav files of driving and exterior foley, mechanical and electrical sounds.

In this library you get all the options with onboard mic recordings ranging from 0 to 50 mph, engine breaking, gear shifting, slowing down, hitting turns and curves, accelerating, decelerating, and idling. You get isolated key turns, kickstand, and gear shifting. On board files are mono and pass bys and “drive aways” from 0 to 40 mph are in stereo recorded using mid-side technique for a great realistic stereo spread. You get separate left to right and right to left pass bys and drive bys at 10, 20, 30, and 40 MPH. Isolated stationary revs and idling recorded at different angles of the bike give you all the perspective you need whether you need up close and personal detail or sounds from a distance. This library gives you everything you need to recreate a good ride on this fine motorcycle! Enjoy the Honda Rebel 300 Motorcycle sound library!

The Inner ambience sound effects library is a collection of high definition sounds recorded inside various spaces using matched stereo contact microphones.
Each ambience has its own unique character and natural frequency modulation.
Some of them has constant velocity like an industrial hum, power block energy field, fans and compressors, while others have weird fluctuations like road columns affected by wind and passing-by cars, bridge columns, fences, water pipes: some of the mechanical and electrical sequences were recorded as well, such as water pump, lawn mowers, automatic window rollers, pool cover mechanism and others.
The audio files could be used, as they are – for dark, eerie, confusing atmospheres or elements in your game or film projects.
It is a good source for further manipulation and designing new sounds as it is recorded in 24/96. In addition to the pack there are designed sounds of these recordings to give you an idea of how you can push them in a different creative way and of course use it in your projects as well.
Get the recordings of a three-bladed wind turbine, captured from five different positions. The collection includes the full-length recordings from each position as well as shorter, edited files. The full-length recordings are tagged with “RAW” at the end of the file name. The shorter, edited files are tagged like this: “high intensity”, “low intensity”, “low to high intensity” and so on.
A killer antique accordion full of paper crinkles, key clacks, sick sounding wheezes and old wood creaks. The antique accordion was rescued from a local antique shop. It has a hole in the bellows that creates a distinct wheezing sound, and it is loaded up with strange squeaks, pops and paper textures.
We rolled on this instrument for about an hour, and did everything from flicking the keys to dropping and pounding it. The accordion took some abuse, but in the end what it gave back was a wealth of old sounding textures you can’t fake.
This instrument was recorded at 24 bit 96k, in dual mono – with an AT4050 for a wide perspective and a Schoeps CMC6.MK4 for a close perspective. Comes with 57 .wav files and 19 Kontakt .nki files (the .nki files require the full retail version of NI Kontakt 4.2.3 or later)

Variations
From a few modern trunks and metal tool cases, to 17th. century wooden traveling chests, latches and hinges, and dust and dirt debris falling and sliding off lids, this library will fit into most categories where something old and creepy needs to be opened or closed.
The library even include sounds of old rusty nails being removed from dry floor boards, and some tracks of hammering nails into wood too. Everything you might need (sound wise) to build a sound design around a vampire being trapped in a coffin, or being freed if you like.
As an extra bonus, library includes 13 tracks of designed coffin sounds, packed with extra punch and creak.
Not all boxes creak the same do they?
Looking for the different objects for this project made me realize that finding trunks and chests that have a nice sound to them, can be quite tricky. Some of the more then 200 years old traveling trunks recorded for this library did not have a very interesting sound to them, and some did not make a creak or very powerful open/closing sound. Fortunately I was lucky to find a bit of both.
I came across a local museum which had all sorts of categorized relics stored in chests and coffins, and was invited to go there record for a day. Many of the sounds included are the ones recorded her, where you literally could smell how much time has passed by.
Recordings were done with a wide variety of microphones, where the Neumann Kmr81I and Sanken CO100K were the favorites.
Storage rooms and basements
Other objects for the sound effects library were found in friends storage rooms and basements. These were kept under less strict conditions and much of the time had a more gritty and worn out sound to them.
We need more dirt debris
Finally I have recorded a bunch of tracks of dirt and dust sliding off different lids to add to those old coffin openings. We all know that a great amount of stuff will reside on top of a coffin after a while.

Audiobeast is proud to present our second sample library; the only library of its kind to focus entirely on weapons being fired in urban environments! For this recording session we were given access to a military training site known as a FIBUA (Fighting In Built-Up Area) consisting of streets with a variety of buildings, vehicles, and exclusive permission to fire weapons in several locations. Pictures of the street and gas station locations and firing points are included.
The aim of this library was to offer the slapback type tails needed for gun sound design for convincing city scenes in film, games and tv production. It’s always been difficult to find gun recordings in a city environment so we hope this library helps sound people everywhere.
This Library contains over 3 GBs of weapons being fired in multiple urban environments, a street, outside of a gas station and inside of a tower block. 218 WAV files of single shots, bursts and many with multiple takes, all recorded at 96 khz 24 bit, with heaps of information on microphones used and distance from the firearms.
Various distances were captured, from the DPA4062 on the guns themselves, to the distant other end of the street 100 metres away. To add, some mics were positioned around corners, a nearby graveyard, through walls and in armored vehicles to capture a variety of perspectives.
Minimal cleanup on the recordings was carried out very carefully so as not to introduce any artefacts into the recordings, they are presented as raw as possible.
If you need a wider selection of interior gun recordings please check out our first library – The London Warehouse Firearms library
Florida Thunder by Eric Berzins contains 111 distinct wav files with over 200 dry thunderclaps and over 300 thunderclaps with rain. All files have been meticulously edited and cleaned, and have embedded UCS-compliant Soundminer metadata.

We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
