Sound effects and recordings of various surfaces, textures, objects and elements – soft, hard, organic, wooden, stone, metallic and lots more
Multi Impacts is a package born from our previous Hits and Whoosh bundle. We have taken the decision to split the previous bundle to make two. Here's one of them!
Multi Impacts contains many impacts/hits sounds on several different surfaces. The library contains 258 sound files: Asphalt, Rubber, Car, Human, Ice, Metal, Water, Dirt, Plastic, Wood, and Sci-Fi Impacts.
The perfect package for add on another texture to your action!
Each sound has been meticulously edited individually, All files were recorded and are delivered in 24bit 96kHz Broadcast Wave files, all embedded with metadata information for easy import and ensure a fast and easy workflow.
This is a special assortment of design fragments from Eiravaein Works. Libraries in the Vaeyan series will be produced over time as new assorted concepts are explored and designed. A welcome addition of flavor for any sound designer’s archive!
Cylindrical Gong is a collection of high quality, 24bit/96kHz, UCS-compliant stereo recordings from a strange, cylindrical, gong-like sheet metal object I came across once. I use the word gong, but there is none of the cymbal-like sheen in this object. Instead, you get more of a ring-modulated, atonal texture – perhaps more like a broken bell. Definitely not your typical gong sound effect.
The 27 different gong sound recordings included provide loads of nuance of sound from this object – I used mallets, knuckles and fingernails to play it! Load them into different velocity ranges on your favorite sampler, pitch them up and down, add effects, etc.
Use them for musical effects, for layering with other sounds, or perhaps mangle them beyond recognition.
RAW BUFFERS – a Discman glitch library.
Abrasive glitch clicks, scrambles, tones and bursts.
Harvesting the glitches from short-circuiting the “electronic skip protection” chip on a late 90’s Discman player.
Connecting the legs of this chip mangles and scrambles the buffer data, resulting in abrasive digital clicks, stutters, tones and bursts.
23 minutes (1.6GB) of 192kHz/24 bit recordings
UCS compliant and with relevant metadata.
This gold-themed sound effects pack covers a lot of ground for any game genre that requires quality coins, nuggets, and golden bar sounds. Perfect for realistic and non-realistic scenarios in video games, podcasts, documentaries, animations and more.

Hello Creators!
Here’s my second pack: “Book & Paper Sounds“
The approach for this pack was to create different sounds that cover the topic of books & paper. They can be used in different styles of video games or other media projects.
I’ve recorded different types of books (big book, standard book, newspaper, magazine, map, etc…) and different actions (pass page, flip pages, drop, erase, writing, grab, open book, etc…)
I hope you enjoy implementing this sounds in your project!
Making-Off
All this sounds were originally recorded with a Zoom H6 (cardiod microphone) and an AKG Perception 220, and were processed in Logic Pro X, mainly editing the recorded material but also I used the Logix Pro X sampler.

“”Designed Fire” is an absolutely fantastic collection. It provides a wide assortment of dynamic and believably exaggerated flame perspectives that are very well suited for portraying hyper-realism. If you need to portray flames in rather dynamic detail, you’ll appreciate having this in your library.”

Ice features 47 cinematic ice sound effects, designed field recordings and evolving textures, that combine the natural sounds of ice with otherworldly and experimental digital post-processing. The sounds range from heavily designed to basic elements.
User reviews:
“‘Designed Ice’ is an experimental library based on our favorite frozen liquid. These sounds of ice have been mangled and distorted beyond recognition to give their ‘essence’ through textures and moods for otherworldly experiences. These sounds crackle, tear, shatter, evolve, excite, glitch, and emote, imitating both living things like aliens and insects and instruments such as bells and horns. These sounds are designed to be used straight out of the box; however, don’t think they won’t inspire you to play with their 96kHz sample rate—or see what new effects you can achieve in your own recordings! If you are looking for an experimental or design inspiration, give this library a listen.” – A Sound Effect

Wind Chimes is a collection of meticulously captured wind chimes purposely recorded with a pair of high-end Barcus Berry 4000 (Planar Wave Piano and Harp Pickup System) contact microphones. By using this type of mic instead of traditional ones, the attack, sustain and decay of each tube struck by its clapper are experienced in ways unheard by the naked ear. Every tinkle and plink, every clang and rattle sound a bit more removed from its environment than normal. Harmonics are heard alongside fundamental frequencies. Every recording is unique to its moment in time. Each note is as random as the wind that plays it. These chimes are anything but showroom new. Some are weathered. Some are outwardly neglected. A few sound pretty, others not so much.
This sound effects library is full of enough energy-zapping and electricity sizzling to complement anything you make, from complete sci-fi movies to minimal techy puzzle games.

A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
