Universal Category System (UCS)

Sound effects libraries where the file names and metadata follow the Universal Category System (UCS), championed by renowned sound supervisor Tim Nielsen & more

  • Water and Waves is our new sound effects library created in collaboration with our friends at West Wolf Audio.

This library features an inspired selection of authentic water ambiences from a range of stunning locations, including Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, as well as recordings taken from The Black Sea and The Agean Sea.

Our audio craftsmen have carefully edited each sound for maximum sonic clarity so that you can drop each sound directly into your project timeline and get down to work with minimal fuss.

Some of the sounds included in this library include rough seas with crashing waves, calm water lapping, lakeside ambiences with boat engines, various cave ambiences with dripping and rushing water, forest streams and water splashing against the hull of a sailboat.

This epic collection of sound effects gives you all the tools you need to design detailed and authentic aquatic soundscapes and is perfect for use in film, tv and video games with a seaside or lake setting.

All sounds are delivered in 24Bit 96kHz format allowing further sonic manipulation and have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use.

  • Travel through time with our new sound effects library, Antique Telephone. Everything you need from dialling numbers to ringing sounds, this collection is perfect for your films, documentaries, video games and other projects, especially those with historic settings.

Our Audio Craftsmen exclusively captured various sounds of a genuinely aged candlestick telephone. The recordings include: fast and normal variations of individual numbers (rotary dials), picking up, dropping ear piece, placing telephone on table, ear piece falling down, telephone ringing and much, much more. This is the most extensive and faithful capturing of a ‘Bell’s style’ vintage telephone available anywhere online.

All sounds were recorded in 24Bit 96kHz allowing further sonic manipulation in our acoustically treated Foley suite. We then meticulously edited and tagged the files with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use.

This volume consists of binaural beats covering the full spectrum of brainwave categories, abstract meditative drones and hypnotic pads, perfect for creating a transcendental audio experience.

In addition, all the files are available in 24Bit 96kHz with extensive UCS compliant metadata to integrate seamlessly with your workflow.

Our Audio Craftsmen recorded vocalisations from talented voice actors and creatively designed them to make variations including: breathy groans, deep grunts, groans, tired zombie growls, angry zombie voices and much, much more. All expressed using a range of emotions including happiness, sadness, anger, and disappointment to create a cache of futuristic User Interface sounds. Allowing you to turn lifeless computers or machines into communicative Artificial Intelligence, transform a clunky robotic helper into an emotional, loving character, or simply add a utopian feel to advanced computer systems. This library is perfect for Sci-Fi and Animated films, games, or television projects. All files are available in 24bit 96kHz allowing further sonic manipulation, tagged with extensive metadata and are UCS compliant for ease of workflow.

  • Geophonic Design contains a wide variety of unique and abstract designed sounds which include infrasonic frequencies as low as 10Hz. The effects in this library have a science fiction/horror vibe, everything from alien spaceships to underwater ambiences. These are perfect for your films, video games, documentaries and other projects that require a mysterious and ominous soundscape.

Our Audio Craftsmen used a ‘Geophone’ which is a seismic measurement device used to record seismic waves and vibrations of the earth, to record low heavy vibrations and rumbles of various surfaces and materials, often using metal resonators to enhance the sound. We captured sounds from window glass, busy roads with vehicle pass bys, metal posts and rails with football impacts, water passing through pipes, metal containers, plastic buckets and much, much more.

All of the included sounds were then precisely edited and designed by our dedicated in-house team to build ambiences such as: outer space, underground bunkers, submarines, weather stations and other abstract ambiences. Moreover, all the files are available in 24Bit 96kHz and extensively tagged with metadata and are UCS compliant to simplify your workflow.

The subsonic sounds in this library will also make a great addition to your library as layered effects, to build an enigmatic mood in your projects, and will be perfect as drones and backgrounds for futuristic, sci-fi and horror scenes.

  • Instruments Kalimba Play Track 550 sounds included, 5 mins total $15

Attention: This is NI KONTAKT instrument, so you need full version of KONTAKT (at least version 5.5.2) to run and play it. It will not work in KONTAKT Player!

However, this library contains 96kHz WAVs in separate folders for each of three kalimbas if you don’t have (or need) KONTAKT.

Introducing KALIMBA: the first KONTAKT instrument from KEDR Audio!

Here you will find two models of high-end kalimbas, as well as a bonus:  prepared low-quality rattling kalimba to add some low-fi textures to your music or sound design.

All were recorded with condenser and contact stereo mics and have separate controls for both microphones levels. Also, the use of five round-robins for each mic allows to achieve variability and human-alike sound.

All three instruments are built on the same KONTAKT engine with many useful controls: room and contact mic gain, AD envelope, low-pass filter with resonance, chorus, reverb, delay and three-band equalizer.

    What you get:

    • Two high-end kalimbas, plus a bonus: an old, low-fi, rattling prepared kalimba
    • Separate folders with 96kHz/24Bit multi-take WAVs for each of kalimbas to use in sound design or other (non KONTAKT) samplers
    • Metadata for search engines
    • KONTAKT engine with three effects, a low-pass filter and a three-band equalizer.

Fiery Movements is a high-quality, new PMSFX library built for creators who need fire to move fast, slow, eruptive, or scorched into the air. Crafted for modern cinematic sound design, this collection delivers an arsenal of over 297 meticulously designed fire-based motion effects, from aggressive whooshes and trails to bursting impacts.

What sets this collection apart is its origin: over 90% of the fire movement sounds were synthesized in Bitwig Studio’s GRID, where analog-style synthesis, FM, distortion, and spectral shaping were combined with macro-modulated dynamics and convolution layering. The result? Fire that doesn’t just sound real – it sounds scorching hot!

Perfect for sound designers working on:

    • Trailers
    • Fire magic
    • Explosive transitions and cinematic sequences

From fast-passing flame whips and pressure-heavy blasts to longer, smoky, and textured burn trails — this pack offers a versatile range of fire movement textures ready for layering or as stand-alone assets.

  • A compact and intimate feline sound library recorded in pristine detail.
Cat Close-Up captures the subtle, healing sounds of a domestic cat at very close range — focusing mainly on purring, but also containing drinking and licking.

This modest collection was recorded using a Nevaton MC59 cardioid microphone paired with a Sound Devices MixPre-II recorder, allowing for exceptional detail, depth, and warmth. The proximity effect of the MC59 cardioid microphone brings out the rich low frequencies of the purr, giving it a tactile and soothing presence. Every sound is designed to feel close, soft, and real, even if the sounds are mono. The mono format creates an immersive, grounded feel — ideal for projects that benefit from a direct, unembellished sound rather than broad stereo space.

Though compact in size, the library was crafted with care to extract the most emotionally resonant tones from these everyday moments of feline life.

    Includes:

Continuous and broken purring (deep, soft, rhythmic)
Licking sounds (grooming fur, tongue on fur)
    Drinking (lapping water, natural variations)

    Tech Specs:

Recorded with Nevaton MC59 cardioid mic + Sound Devices MixPre3-II
    24bit / 96kHz WAV
