WHAT SOUND PROFESSIONALS SAY:
Victor Mercader – AAA Sound Designer (Apex Legends)
“I find myself continuously using Slava’s SFX libraries to blend it’s pristine and detailed sound designs into my own sounds. They always add that cutting edge I am missing and make my sound designs more unique and pristine.”
Enos Desjardins – Sound Designer/Sound Effects Editor (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Mirror)
“Slava has been creating some really cool libraries which I find myself using time and again. Really high quality recordings to start with but then the cool processing he has used for example in his cinematic whoosh libraries really stand out. They are not just your standard generic whoosh sounds but are loaded with character and have a unique feel to them that is really fresh and cuts through in the nicest of ways.”
Bjørn Jacobsen – AAA Sound Designer (CyberPunk 2077, HITMAN, DARQ)
“Slava has for several years made high quality sound effects for me to play with. I use his sound libraries across multiple projects as lego blocks of my creations.”
Ginno Legaspi – SoundBytes Music Magazine
“Cinematic Water Whooshes and Textures’ is great for anything. You won’t be hearing recordings of calm rivers or relaxing streams, but cinematic whooshes and textures for soundtrack works and media projects. Whether you’re into this type of sounds, this pack was recorded quite well, professionally edited and processed with Slava’s own flair.”
Yarron Katz – AAA Composer and Sound Designer
“Slava makes some wonderful libraries. He’s relatively new on the scene and his libraries have come to critical acclaim. He takes some general ideas, like whooshes and he injects some extremely revolutionary and innovative ideas to them, so you’re not getting another whoosh library – you’re getting something very unique, very fresh. He brings some wonderful ideas to the table.”
Get 500 sound effects of mainly metal and wood impacts, metal junk hits, crashes, heavy door slams, metal drops, metal wall and oil tank hits in this SFX library.
All sounds were recorded with a RODE NTG-3, a RODE NT-4 and a Beyerdynamic MC950 microphone on a Sound Devices 744T (+ SD MixPre-D). Each sound was heavily edited and cleaned, so there is no noise or other unwanted sounds. The sounds were layered, EQed and compressed for that extra punch – so they can be instantly used to sonically treat your medieval and sci fi battles, fighting and walking robots and anything else that needs some heavy metal treatment.
You can use the sounds right away. No further editing needed. But you can, of course… :)
This bundle features two powerful metal sound effect packs at a special price:
• Just Metal – Scrapes & Scratches: Tons of nasty metal squeaks, squeals, moans and sliding sounds.

• Just Metal – Squeaks & Moans: A huge collection of harsh, disharmonic, nasty metal scrapes, scratches, slides and grinds. From short, high-emphasis scratches to long and heavy metal scrapes.
Created in collaboration with David Klaschka, this bundle delivers if you’re looking for heavy duty metal-on-metal action sounds.
Get the sounds of the human body with the Stethoscope sound effects library: The gurgling and murmuring of various digestion processes in the abdomen, the beating heart, blood rushing through vessels and the respiratory sounds of the lungs.
All sounds were recorded from male and female volunteers using multiple stethoscopes and a Sound Devices 633 recorder, final clean up was done with Izotope RX 4.
Whooshes & Impacts is a large package of futuristic and magical Whoosh sound FX and heavy weight Impact sound FX.
Whooshes & Impacts features 245 heavy, sci-fi, mysterious, magical, futuristic, epic, impacts, whooshes, swishes, pass-by FX
Here are ambient and specific recordings of rustling leaves, fluttering twigs and creaking trunks. Pine and Fir trees, Beechwood hedgerows and leafless Oak trees, along tall grass and reeds. All in all, a collection representative of the cultured landscape in Denmark, as well as much of northern Europe. I was lucky enough to record a storm during the last days of 2016, and those sounds are of course included here. No human voices or man-made sounds, but a few of the sounds have bird vocalizations in them. All files are UCS-compliant.
The focus is rather narrow, going for many nuances of the same flavor – rather than many flavors. If you need sounds of a storm or gale in northern European vegetation, then this should fit the bill. Note that there is audible buffeting in several files. I opted to leave it in there, as it might suit some purposes, and let me keep the most violent passages. You can try your luck with noise reduction, but since wind is mostly broadband noise anyway, it might not turn out well. YMMV.
A few sounds appear in both mono and stereo versions, where the stereo version are X/Y derived from the M/S source files and the mono versions are simply the Mid channel. I did this, because most people seem to prefer X/Y files for post-work, rather than M/S – but a down-mix of X/Y to mono would be inferior to using the original Mid-mic signal. All sounds were captured in Denmark between October and January.
Dogs is a great collection of 14 different breeds, covering all aspects of a dogs life: barking, growling, whining, whimpering, playing, eating, sleeping, and walking around. There are in-your-face sounds and subtle sounds. This collection also includes some studio-recorded Foley, and 14 ambiences with dogs barking in the background.
If you need the sound of handwriting, this SFX library delivers: It gets you 841 files containing more than 2000 different handwriting – sounds from different pens, pencils, crayons, chalk on blackboard, felt pens, markers, even brushes and writing in sand, and carving in stone. All this in many variations from writing words and sentences, strokes, periods and doodling. So if you’re after the sound of writing, here it is:
Just Whoosh 3 brings you 575 recorded whoosh sound effects. Some of the props used include: Cloth blankets, jeans, leather and nylon jackets, fishing rods, boom poles, bamboo/wood/metal/plastic sticks + ropes with things like spatulas attached to one end (!), chains, a torch, and some cars passing by.
This sound library was carefully recorded, processed and crafted to offer a unique toolset for your ice-cold freezing design needs.
Great for fantasy genre with ice based magic, enchantment and supernatural elements, shining motion graphics, time lapse and flow motion freeze sequences.
Bonus Aztec death whistle recordings processed by glass and icy textures.
This Sound Library is a part of the Slava Pogorelsky – Complete Bundle.

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
