  • Animal Sound Effects Ambisonic Horse Carriage Play Track 22 sounds included, 26 mins total $39

    This classic vehicle is drawn by two horses and produces mostly clank and rattle of wood and metal. You can also hear some leather creaks and the horses’ hooves and breaths. Occasionally the driver beatboxes some cues – clucking, smacking, monosyllables.

    Some of the files contain solely the rattle of the rolling carriage but no horses – these can be used for sound designing any old vehicle on a bumpy road.

    This selection of onboard sounds contains a variety of speeds, horse gaits and road surfaces. They have been recorded with the Sennheiser Ambeo VR Mic, and, simultaneously, with two stereo sets. For each recording you get 10 channels:

    – ambiX B-format (4 channels)
    – Stereo XY (Audio-Technica BP4025)
    – Wide Stereo (DPA 4060) captured at the carriage’s chassis
    – Stereo Mix of all of the above

    British Police Radio Vol. 1 contains futzed male police voices captured in our  acoustically treated studio.

    Our Audio Craftsmen recorded performances of authentic British police dialogue covering a range of on-the-job scenarios: a hostage situation, burglary, car chase, suspicious vehicle and noise complaint. These were then recorded and designed into a collection of highly immersive sounds.

    Use this library to capture the feeling of riding in a patrol car or being on-the-scene. The performances cover both low-intensity and high-intensity situations, so you can apply them to tense, action-packed sequences or more casual, day-to-day policing life. They can also be used to build up backgrounds or sweeten precinct scenes.

  • City Life Sound Effects NYC Protest | 2019-2022 Play Track 51+ sounds included, 263 mins total $75

    There’s a lot of material here – recorded and organized with a sound editor’s sensibility.

    The recordings started out by chance – I’d end up in protest situations, and happened to have a recorder with me. This year I was a little more proactive, especially for the rally in Washington Square Park after the Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade.

    Also in this collection: A Downtown Brooklyn BLM march, A 2019 Foley Square rally in response to border camps/family separation, A UFT protest at City Hall, and a couple different mics on the jubilant reaction to Biden’s presidential win on the corner of Atlantic and Court in Brooklyn. There’s not much underpinning music or other legally difficult material, but there is some. I’ve chosen to leave it in, for the most part, as this is also a historical record.

    Quite a few takes are very long, and encompass changing circumstances. I’ve opted to use WAV markers, which I’m also providing as “Notes” metadata – making phrases, cheers, and other things I’ve noted searchable and findable!

    Everything is UCS complaint.

    *Most material was recorded on a Sony PCM-100, and originated 96k/24bit; Some material was recorded with the Sennheiser Ambeo Headset, and was upsampled to 96k/24bit from 48k/24bit

  • Electricity Sound Effects Geiger Counter Play Track 23 sounds included $59

    ‘GEIGER COUNTER’ by Flysound is a comprehensive sound catalog for a very unique piece of kit: a Soviet era radiation measurement device.

    We have captured the different beat intensities of the machine, the strength of detection signalling, and other sounds such as on/off. We were able to capture the nozzle reacting to real radiation – minimal, but still significant enough to create great sound.

    The 96kHz/24bit synced recordings bring the sound of atomic danger into the 21st century production values category. The metadata has been written to adhere to the Universal Category System.

  • Universal Category System (UCS) Household Textures Play Track 390+ sounds included $35

    Household Textures is all about those peculiar textures that we can obtain from an everyday object that is already in our place. These sounds can become a super useful source when it comes to sweetening your sound design workflow.

    • The goal was to use any object located in a house and manipulate it as much as possible in order to get a unique sound that might be used in a completely different scenario.
    • From carpet to mayonnaise to rubber. The list is endless.
    • A plant, if moved with the right timing, might become insect wings. A sliding door can be used for a portcullis. Some synthetic clothes do sound like sand. Even a mountain bike can fake a giant watermill spin.
