  • Ambisonic Sound Effects Urban Housing Play Track 18+ sounds included, 61 mins total $75

More than just roomtones, this collection is about living in town. Changing an appartment’s common sounds into simple poetry. This collection was recorded in a big city such as Paris and London but also more quiet places.

    About Ambisonics:
This is an Ambisonics sound effects library - and by using the free SoundField SurroundZone 2 plugin you can convert the B-format files into your preferred format (stereo, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, 6.1, 7.0 or 7.1 surround). Note: The library also contains ready-made stereo mixdowns for your convenience.
  • Foley Sound Effects Foley Plus Play Track 1748 sounds included, 123 mins total $150

Foley Plus is a massive collection of Foley-related sounds including new and unusual footsteps, clothing movement, household/kitchen/bathroom/office sounds, wood and metal creaks, squeaks, scrapes, and so much more you’ll have to check out the track list!  Add a big PLUS to your FOLEY library!

  • Over 375 sounds of creaking and cracking materials, including breaking cables, ropes under tension and about to split, wires and strings under stress, metal friction causing tension. Recorded with a combination of Sanken CO100K and Nevaton microphones for full frequency sound content. Saved as 192KHz these files allow for high resolution editing. Useful for impact sounds in cinema, games or documentary, but also for cartoon sounds or even creature sounds as many of the recordings contain vowel-like screeching and scraping.

Imagine a scene where a rope is about to break over an edge, an object being torn by a huge cable, a wooden structure about to collapse under stress and so on… Our brain is triggered by those rattling sounds or spine-breaking cracks coming from little fibers being split apart, parts of the structure creaking, wires scraping over edges…

These sounds can be perceived as delicate but have a great psychological impact as we interpret these and know what is about to happen. So suspense is built with both background and close-up sounds. Useful when building tension, when creating a sense of upcoming climax, these sonic elements will work out to amplify the details that are often important but not always visible for the eye.

All the source material and recording are acoustic, there are no digital effects applied. This guarantees natural organic harmonics, even way beyond our hearing. Pitching down the 192 KHz files will let you discover another collection of sounds!

You can find the following libraries in this collection >

Push & Pull, Heavy Weight, Acoustic Low Frequency Movements
    Push Pull Heavy Weight

    Screeching, Squeaking, Scraping Old Objects

  • Drones & Mood Sound Effects Kyma Ambiences – vol.1 Play Track 56 sounds included, 112 mins total From: $49

Kyma Ambiences [USO003] is the third sound effects bundle created by Matteo Milani.

The generation of these “Artificial Reality Ambiences” starts entirely in Symbolic Sound Kyma from the processing of white and pink noise by filtering – in the time/spectral domains – and convolving these sources with custom FM, additive, formant and granular synthesis.

The composition’s resource of sound material is drawn solely from these processed stochastic sound elements: coloured noise is a raw material already full of life and can be sculpted into a variety of temporal forms, movements and textures.

The interaction with Kyma was typical of a composer who explored a device’s potential for sound transformation like a musical instrument. The goal was to obtain an organic and acoustic quality using only a restricted sound source, in order to evoke real spatial characteristics attached to each invented sound.

The “Kyma Ambiences vol.1” sound effects collection is published @ 96kHz (native) – and is also available as dual-layer separated “Elements”, suitable for recombinant stratification, varispeed and spatial positioning in the surround field (for a total of 112 files @ 96kHz).

  • Environments & Ambiences Geophonic Sound Effects Play Track 98+ sounds included, 23 mins total $16

  • Universal Category System (UCS) Rain Play Track 113 sounds included, 240 mins total $66

Rain is 4 hours / 7.74Gb of rain on many surfaces.
    113 separate files
    – recorded in 24bit/96kHz. All sounds are UCS-compatible.

Rain is a library of sounds collected since 2011. It features rain recorded as ambiances or beds and as specifics. For me, rain is the same as wind:
if it sounds like white noise, it isn’t interesting. Just like my wind recordings, I have recorded rain where it hits something that makes a distinctive
sound, something with a bit of character, rhythm or feeling.

Over the years, I have recorded rain in M/S, A-B stereo and mono. I have used condensers and contact mics. All of that is represented
    in this collection.

Some of the recordings exist in both original M/S versions, as well as the decoded results (XY). In this way, you can get ready-to-use stereo,
or get more control of width (or just the mono signal) with M/S. A few of the sounds were only recorded in mono, and I have left them in as such. They are quite percussive and close-up anyway, so may be used as elements. You also get several seamless loops.

You will find rain on man-made materials, as well as vegetation, and even a couple of rain recordings from Sri Lanka and Tokyo. These have been released previously in their own libraries, but I thought they were both interesting and generic enough to do some good here as well.

  • This library sounds BIG and has an impressive amount of impact.

It consists of recordings that were used to produce “Cinematic Tension” library – a set of sound design elements for trailers and intense scenes.

Doors, locks, metal tanks, fences, grills and other interesting objects were captured to get extremely interesting sounds for the source material.

Complete your production with detailed, organic sounds, recorded with a pair of high-end contact microphones: Barcus Berry Planar Wave 4000.

Scrapes, textures, impacts, rattle, hits and squeaks of different objects, from small to massive, will add serious punch to your sound design layers!

    Main features:

    • 153 source files with several variations each
    • 96khz/24bit Stereo
    • Various hits, impacts, ratchets, squeaks, rattles and other various recordings made with contact microphones.
    • Perfect sound source for layering and further processing
    • Extensive Soundminer and BWF metadata for search engines
    • Universal Category System (UCS) compliant
