Wetland Atmosphere is a collection of pristine ambiences recorded at wetlands, marshes, bogs, lakes and other similar areas around Europe.
The library consists of 33 recordings ranging from 3 to 10 minutes in length, available both as stereo and surround. The recordings have been captured with a Sennheiser Double Mid-Side rig which was left out overnight in remote locations. This was to make sure that man-made noise and human interaction was kept to a minimum.
Locations include but are not limited to:
• Remote islands in the Danube Delta, the best preserved Delta in Europe
• Swamps in Northern Romania, teeming with frogs and far away from civilization
• Marshes and bogs in Central Sweden
• Lakes surrounded by trees in Central Sweden
• Wetlands in the Somerset Levels, England
The library is accompanied by a comprehensive species list covering 68 birds and 7 amphibians in total.
Highlights include Bitterns with their booming calls, Common Loons and their wails being reflected off of trees, geese, ducks and swans making a racket, the insect-like clicking of Savi’s Warbler and the incessant croaking of various frogs and toads.
A massive collection of crowd and ambience recordings – captured both indoors and outdoors.
Locations include an amusement park, mall, restaurant, beach, courtyard, fair, ski area, arcade hall, casino, coffe shop, convention, park, construction site, library, museum, cafe, zoo, store, theater lobby, tour boat train station – and more. From veteran Hollywood Sound Designer Lenny Jones.
There are 85 recordings included, most ambiences are 2-3 minutes in length – and there are more than 220 minutes of crowd recordings in total.
Wind Textures features blowy and breezy ambiences, both in urban and rural areas as well as outdoor and indoor perspectives.
Key features:
Urban areas include recordings from backyards, empty streets and parks. Free of traffic and birds, you will hear trees creaking, twigs fluttering, leaves rustling, branches crackling, distant impacts, deep and long gusts and the whole space whistling and squeaking.
Rural areas: on the top of cliffs, in the middle of a forest, bushes rustling.
Indoor perspectives with wind howling and whistling through windows as well as a contact mic placed in chimneys and windows.
26 files from outdoors and another 26 from indoor perspectives.
Recorded over the course of a year around Southern England and Galicia, Spain.
Gear used: Zoom F8, Sennheiser 8040 in ORTF, Sennheiser 8050 or 8040 with MKH 30 in M/S, Sony D100, Aquarian H2a Contact Mic.
All files are in 96 kHz / 24 bit and come with exhaustive embedded Soundminer metadata, including description, category, subcategory, microphone setup, manufacturer.
Hydrophones are the perfect source of interesting sounds and textures, especially for further manipulations with their pitch and spectrum
This library contains cool recordings of melting ice, drips, streamlets, bubbling, rain, fizz, underwater movement, submerging of hot or burning things and even heavy boiling (which destroyed my hydrophone completely). These textures sometimes sound completely out of this world and could spice up your SFX very nicely.
All recordings were made with at 96 kHz sample rate for further manipulation, and the sounds are categorized by their source for easy navigation and contains extensive metadata.

This library gets you both the sounds of a tugboat / motor engine boat, as well as a sailboat.
It delivers powerful boat engine sounds such as accelerations, stopping and idle sounds. You also get radio VHF chatter, cabin roomtone, splashing waves, the sounds of anchors being dropped and handled and mainsail hoisting sounds. This fascinating library contains sounds and ambiences of big cities, beautiful nature, people and vehicles, features interior as well as outdoor recordings from India.
In this sound pack I’ve included an in-depth selection of active ambiences. This library is focused more on the natural ambience of both busy main streets and calmer side streets.
Most sounds were captured below 110 St. and prominently in the Lower East and West Village. There are a multitude of police and firetruck sirens at varying distances as well as some not so common areas like the Intrepid Pier and the Hudson River Heliport ambience.
I’ve also included some extensive subway rides. All boring bits were edited out for a strong final product. There are multiple train rides with various levels of walla and PA announcements.
One thing that is very common in NYC during the summer months are the rain and thunderstorms. I’ve included a number of wet traffic, distant thunderstorms and heavy rains.
All in all this is a good representation of New York’s streets and subway systems.

A 1960’s styled bicycle riding around at a leisurely pace, wobbling to stay straight, walking along the sidewalk or being handled and chucked to the curb. Squeaky brakes, loud gears, and clumsy metal give this bike nostalgic character.
Welcome to the jungle: 'Pura Vida – Sounds of the Tropical Forests of Costa Rica' delivers a wealth of rainforest recordings and ambiences.
Recordings include exotic sounds such as atmospheric jungle ambiences, howler monkeys, hummingbirds, tropical birds, insects, cicadas, waterfalls, bats and a slew of other tropical sounds.

This library consists of several kinds of wind. There are recordings of soft wind in extremely quiet open spaces at winter time. Some recordings were made in a coniferous forest in winter time – and the library also features a few sounds of canes and leaves rustle.
ROOM TONES – Industrial Building delivers hugely atmospheric ambience recordings gathered in an '80s Industrial Building in the east of Dresden, Germany.
The library sounds were captured with a 4 channel 60 cm IRT cross and 4 Sennheiser MKH8020 omnis mounted. The recordings took place on a stormy and rainy Sunday. Due to the blank surfaces inside the building, thin single-glass windows and large air shafts, the weather elements got massively amplified by walls and floors.
Additionally the rain water pipes are placed inside the building which caused a constant sound of flowing water. Also the sound of the central heating was clearly perceptible along the floors.
The library contains 19 scenes recorded in 4-channel IRT surround. Each scene consists of 2 complementing stereo tracks and is more than 3 minutes long.
A collection of stereo urban ambiences, recorded in Cairo and Dubai, where you’ll find traffic, Arabic walla, and the Call to Prayer.
From the Spice Souk in Dubai to the back alleys of Studio Galal in Cairo, something is always moving.

Three speeds. Departures from slow, medium to fast getaways. Arrivals from slow stops with gently squeaking handbrakes to heavy stuttering skids.
Five perspectives:
1. Onboard Front: captures the whirring tire and surface sound.
2. Onboard Pedal: nice overall combination of pedaling, crank creaks, chain rattle, tire and surface sounds.
3. Onboard Rear: close up sound of the rear axle, with chain, sprocket and switching of gear.
4. Tracking shot: mono recording of the passby, keeping the bike in focus while passing by.
5. Static XY shot: stereo recording of the passby that emphasizes speed.
Overview of perspectives and mic placement:
Onboard recordings are 2-3 minutes long depending on speed. Higher speeds > shorter duration.
All 3 onboard mics are edited in sync with one another to make layering easy.
All Passbys, Arrivals and Departures move from Left to Right.

So passbys are MED – EXT and handling are CU – EXT. Exterior? Of course: we recorded everything outside!
UserComments
We used this field to create the UserData and give you the minimal set of information about the recording in the filename.
Additionally, we added Markers to some wave files, so specific sound events are easy to spot in Soundminer and other apps.

Office Building features the ambiences one can hear sometimes around midnight or in the early morning hours.
During these times employees are usually at home and only service staffs are around so that the building can unfold its own sounds of ventilations, elevators and wind that blows through tilted windows. Automatic switches occasionally ignite neon lights along the floors or elevator doors open from out of nowhere.
The library contains 79 files in 5 categories: DOORS, ELEVATORS, NEON LIGHTS, ROOM TONES plus several takes from the building´s EXTERIOR surroundings.
All files are meticulously meta-tagged and seamlessly integrate into sound managing apps like Soundly, Soundminer or any other app that can read Broadcast WAVs.
Here’s 144 minutes of composite German construction site ambiences. It comes with all the hammering, sawing, digging, drilling, some yelling workers, squeaky crawling excavators and loud jack hammers you’d expect. All edited, cleaned, mixed and packed with metadata.
The ambiences were mostly recorded with a Sound Devices 744t and a Sound Devices Mix-PreD through a Beyerdynamic MC930 ORTF setup and RODE NTG-4 microphone, and some ambiences were tweaked to seamless loop from end to start. All sounds were recorded over weeks at several different construction site around Stuttgart / Germany – from very small sites recorded close up to huge construction sites with lots different typical working sounds.
The Wind Turbines library introduces the sounds of fizzling propeller blades, rotating nacelles, humming transformer stations, mysterious drones and other mechanic noises gathered from inside wind turbine towers.
All these specific sounds are complemented by large-field wind farm ambiences.
The library is organised into 7 themes that include takes with a length from 19 seconds to more than 2 minutes.
The Sound Barr “Tennis SFX Library” is professionally recorded with professional tennis players. From tennis hits, impacts, wooshes and efforts it has 213 variations in 24 files. It’s been recorded at 2 different locations. Both tennis courts are hardcourt and outdoors.

Summer Mountains is a collection of nature sounds captured during several trips in 2017 and 2018.
This library has been fully recorded at high altitude (over 2000m and more) in the heart of the French Alps in places such as the Vanoise National Park and the Natural Reserves of Aiguilles Rouges, Passy, Carlaveyron and Vallon de Bérard.
This collection provides more than 2 hours of high quality recordings such as alpines pastures ambiences, forests, wind, streams and waterfalls as well as herds of sheep or cows, birds and distant marmots, all without any human sounds.

This library was recorded in different locations. The main one is the woods to record the detail of the mountain bicycles when riding. Other locations were on asphalt roads, to obtain the delicious sound of the wheels and chain spinning and drifting.
The library was recorded in mono and stereo depending on the perspective of the rider.
Sounds of Nature: FORESTS of Europe features nature sounds and ambiences, captured in different forests of Central Europe at different times of day and at night.
It includes recordings in deciduous forests, pine tree forests and mixed forests. These forests are among the oldest, quietest and most beautiful pristine forests in Europe. You can hear many different birds, including cuckoos, owls and woodpeckers. All nature recordings are clear and completely free from external noise and other human disruptions. This is why this library will be especially useful for productions taking place in the past, like medieval and ancient times. As well as historical and nature documentaries.
All of these nature ambiences are recorded using three different microphone set-ups. A Stereo set-up, a wide stereo set-up and a spaced omnis set-up, which also offers extended frequency response. This brings you 3 variations of each recording. Within these variations the differences are sometimes subtle and sometimes more extreme. These three perspectives can provide flexibility for crosscutting within scenes.
