In 1979, bells from more than 100 countries were brought together for a communist event which had the purpose to promote world peace.
Kids from most countries gathered for the occasion bringing along with them bells from each of their respective country.
A monument was built for this occasion which is still standing nowadays, situated in the suburb of Sofia.
This monument encompasses what is known to be the largest drum instrument in the world, as it contains hundreds of bells from all over the world.
We meticulously recorded each of those bells.
We were blessed to get clean close sounds of these bells with some variations, isolated takes but also sequence of ringing.
In this library. you’ll find a selection of 30 of these countries which have bells that have “church-like” sonic characteristics.

The latest installment in the Epic Stock Media Sci-fi World Sound Effects Series has landed on planet earth. Sci-fi World – Swarm presents a meticulously designed ambience loop library inspired by an insect-like alien race and their quest for dominance in the galaxy. Sci-fi World – Swarm is a collection of over 2 hours of interior and exterior sci-fi background loops.
With a selection of 141 designed sci-fi loops, you’ll be able to create new worlds effortlessly. Dramatic room tones, custom sci-fi interior and exterior scenes, ambient sounds like; alien cave, energy lab, transport hangar, termite mounds, and Queen’s chambers are all ready to mix, match, stack and layer for the perfect vibe in your production.
Loops are approximately one minute in length and the ambience loop files include one or two minimal or alt mix versions. Also, sounds are pre-mixed and mastered to high volume so you can mix your tracks for optimal immersion and sonic dynamics without losing fidelity.
Of course, it’s ready to use in any multi-media production. All of the recordings are royalty-free and RTU-OTB. Need more ambience loops? Be sure to check out Swarm sister sound libraries – Sci-fi World Colony and Sci-fi World Guardians Ambience Loop Libraries.
Sci-fi World Guardian is a library geared towards multiplayer games, space, dystopias, utopias, fantasy, magical places, serene game moments, RPG, MMO, and sci-fi games all alike and showcases sounds like automated shipyard, electron flow, data mining, engines, mothership hums, conversions, moons of Venus, deserted area, bioengineering lab, desolate space, holy house, a variety of pulses, tech-based loops, winds, & more.
Each loop is game ready, seamlessly loopable and around 1 minute in length. Each main ambience includes 1-2 alt mix versions + you get a variety of layers to accent your scene and games ambience. Having both full ambiences, alt mixes and layers allows you to truly orchestrate your game’s background sound how you want it. If the full loop has too much going on, then try using the minimal version without the sound you don’t like or by stacking a layer loop to boost the dynamic of the atmosphere.

HOW SOUNDWEAVER HELPS YOUR WORKFLOW
MORE VARIETY ON TIGHT SCHEDULES
We all know the situation: A client has asked for 100 new sound assets, 10 variations each, delivered as soon as possible.
Creating variations in particular requires a lot of meticulous pitching, shifting and switching out elements within your original design.
With just a few commands, SoundWeaver will automate all of those time-consuming steps for you and generate as many suggestions as you like – so all that’s left for you to do is have a quick listen and keep the ones you like best.
Focus on your creative process while SoundWeaver takes care of the rest.
INSPIRATION THROUGH NEW COMBINATIONS
Speaking of creative process: Once your library has grown beyond a certain point, there is only so much experimenting you can do manually. SoundWeaver’s powerful Randomize feature often generates combinations we’d never think of trying in the first place.
This opens up a world of new possibilities and is a great way of starting a project.
Already have an idea? Tell SoundWeaver to build on it and create different flavors.
Starting empty-handed? Let SoundWeaver set up your session by putting all layers in place.
Done, but missing that special something? Try out more unlikely sounds with just a few clicks.

The Siemens Valero is a high-speed train that is an engineering marvel and a staple of modern high-grade national and transcontinental rail transport, with various versions zipping across the UK, the EU, Russia, and the far reaches of Asia including China. This is a train capable of 290 kilometres per hour (180 mph), it is the high-speed joiner of distant cities such as Moscow and Saint Petersburg. For our recording project, we captured it across a comprehensive range of its speeds. Sennheiser Ambeo microphones were used throughout.
Recordings were made inside carriages, inside a compartment, down gangways, across the ever-dramatic space connecting railcar vestibules, and also less glorified but vital locations, e.g., the loo. All relevant background sounds are there, including door movements, passenger chatter, objects in motion, and the sounds of the restaurant car. For the characteristic sounds of a great ‘iron horse’, inside and out, this is it. Flysound… Putting the ‘track’ into soundtrack!

Recording of a United Kingdom Leyland Motors FV4201 Chieftain battle tank from the late 1960s with a supercharged Leyland L60 multifuel 6 cylinder, 2-stroke opposed-piston compression-ignition engine.
The United Kingdom Leyland Motors FV4201 Chieftain battle tank sound library includes 150 clips in 17.05 gigabytes. It features the sound of a late 1960s version of the tank and its supercharged Leyland L60 multifuel 6 cylinder, 2-stroke opposed-piston compression-ignition engine.
A total of 22 channels present the tank in 10 synchronized takes. The onboard microphones (9 perspectives) were mounted at the tracks, engine, exhaust, and in the interior. Exterior microphones (6 perspectives) recorded departures, passes, and arrivals driving at slow, medium, and fast speeds from multiple locations using stereo, mono, and surround microphones.
Also bundled with the package are stereo mixes of the onboard channels, performed effects of hatches and the turret, Pro Tools and Reaper mixing sessions, and complete professional metadata embedded in every clip.
Urban Air is a collection of long duration / ready to use / surround urban backgrounds.
This is aXLsound’s first surround ambience library, it has been recorded across different cities with various microphones setup ( LCR ORTF / QUAD / 5.0 ) and then carefully collected and edited into 5.0 surround tracks.
You’ll find various moods and sonic characteristics including: downtown, suburban, industrial, small towns, quiet, loud and annoying traffic beds, wet city, side streets, parks, wide city squares, diffuse and distant urban elements, clean air tones or dirty gritty city noise …
The duration of the tracks varies between 02m 30s for the shortest and more than 08 minutes with the vast majority lasting around 04-05 minutes, so long scenes shouldn’t be a problem. Also, some sounds include markers highlighting (un)interesting sounds and events.
For more convenience, 2 versions are available for this library :
– C / LR / LsRs : the 5.0 sounds are delivered “splitted” in three separate files : ( 1 mono + 2 stereo files ) , this way you can easily use the stereo files if you don’t need surround.
– .C / .L / .R / Ls / .Rs : multiple mono files
This ambience pack contains 33 sounds / 99 files embedded with full and detailed metadata ( Soundminer, Basehead, iXML ).
With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
