UK Big City Bundle contains three libraries with ambiences and sounds unique to some of the biggest cities in the UK captured during our field recording sessions. With a total runtime of 173 mins and a file size of 5.6 GB, this bundle has everything you need to build a multi-layered city soundscape.
Our Audio Craftsmen travelled through some of largest cities of England including London, Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool capturing exclusive ambiences to build your perfect city atmosphere. We recorded ambiences from tunnels, construction sites, shopping malls, book stores, technology stores, cafes, restaurants, toilets, busy train stations, buses, trams, elevators, escalators, street sweepers, crowds, skylines and much, much more. The sessions were planned at different times of the day to give you the most authentic and grounded representation of the UK city life to use in your projects.
You will be saving 30% on the total cost of the individual libraries when purchasing the bundle, an awesome value for money addition to your general sound effects libraries. All of the included sounds are carefully edited and provided dry in 24Bit/96kHz and are tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata to help you find the right sound for your scene.
This sound library features 9 minutes of driving, recorded on small race track. Boxer engine with unequal length header combined with force induction and high pitch blow off valve makes a great sounding onboard. In addition to designed onboard, you’ll find interior stereo (in sync with engine) and RAW files ( 2 engine, blow off valve, 2 exhaust inputs). Here’s a video from recording session:
Mazda Miata MX5 NBFL 1.6 Stock sound library features 149 high-quality files recorded with multi-mic setup. Engine was recorded in sync with interior cabin ambient, and you can expect different styles of driving. From casual city driving, through accelerations on a highway up to rpm ramps and constant rpm loops for game audio. In addition to designed sounds, you’ll find raw recordings for each perspective (3 engine microphones, air intake, 2 exhaust microphones). Additionally, this library features 30 files with exterior recordings (passes, manoeuvres, approaches, engine start and such) and 22 foley files with recordings of doors, trunk, hood, and interior SFX.
Tank T-44: The great hulking mass that would spell doom for the Red Army’s enemies has been captured in all its glory trudging along, with every turn of its metal treads and gears recorded masterfully.
The sound capture equipment used were best-in-breed Neumann U 87 and Schoeps M4 microphones, and the tank’s authoritative rumbles and clangs were recorded from various positions, and at various speeds as the treads grip the ground and transfer the power of its mighty engine, transmission, and parts. There are also stereo recordings for the tank’s engine and the tank’s exhaust pipe.
We at Flysound have dusted off the cobwebs and taken this 30 tonne beast for several victory laps to record its belligerent brilliance. The T-44: one of the great patriotic tanks! In a time when action productions are all to often devolving into the fake and unrealistic, this sound package is an authentic antidote of epic proportions.
A lite and mixed version of this suite is also included, comprising 15 authentic stereo files, designed, mixed, and studio packaged on best-of-breed equipment for simpler tasks which would have a preference for a package of ready made stock sounds of the T-44.
Transport features dozens of vehicles recordings – cars, trains, trucks, planes, motorbikes, etc., – that have taken place in a urban environment, covering your needs for background transportation. The goal of this library is to help sound editors quickly find that background traffic that is often needed. All the recordings are ready to be used in a non-intrusiveness way in any media where vehicles play a remote or central role.

1. Exterior recordings of various actions in multiple takes from rattles, bounces, shakes to roll-bys. Enough to make your bike sound just a little different.
2. We also recorded 21 additional single passbys of various bicycles, from severely rattling to smooth riding bikes on small brick streets and alleys. Enough to expand your options to create a distinguished sound design.
Metadata & Markers:
Because we know how important metadata is for your sound libraries we have created a consistent and intuitive description method that adheres to the Universal Category System. This allows you to find the sound you need easily, whether you work in a database like Soundminer/Basehead/PT Workspace work, or a Exporer/Finder window. We made a video that helps you navigate the library ans find your best bicycle sounds faster and easier.

Vehicle Essentials compiles detailed foley and evolving ambisonic takes from three different cars, aimed at giving sound editors and designers alike versatility aplenty to build realistic soundscapes for videogames, movies, TV shows and other media formats.
Each foley audio file is packed with one-shot mono sound effects taken from every component present in the cars themselves, ranging from dashboard buttons, seat adjustment levers, A/C, insertion and removal of car keys, handbrakes, pedals, doors opening and closing with both interior and exterior perspectives, amongst many other detailed and varied takes, carefully recorded, edited and cleaned.
The ambisonic sound files contain long takes of each vehicle driving around or parked revving different RPMs, perfect to edit and loop each speed or idle moment to a certain scene. Given the nature of ambisonics, you can easily convert these B Format files onto any desired format (like regular stereo, 5.1 or 7.1 surround) with the correct plug-in, like RØDE’s own SoundField, which happens to be free to download. These are raw recordings where little to no hum or hiss removal techniques were applied.
With over 1500 individual sounds inside Vehicle Essentials, you’re guaranteed to find the right speed for your intended destination.
Vehicles included:
GT Series Pass-By compiles over an hour of sports cars racing at a private event, resulting in minimal crowd conversations or unnecessary background noise. Animal Hyperrealism Vol III is a library containing sounds themed animal vocalisations, from real to designed creatures totaling more than 1700 individual sounds in 279 files.
The sounds were recorded in zoos and wildlife centers. The asset list includes but is not limited to: european red deers, monkeys, reindeers, hornbills camels, crickets, tamarins, boars, frogs, red ruffed lemurs, parrots, and many more.
The content has been recorded at 192KHz with a Sanken CO100K plus a Sennheiser 8050 for center image and a couple of Sennheiser MKH8040 for stereo image.
Part of the cheats section of the library features samples recorded at 384KHz. For these sounds an additional microphone was employed, specifically the CMPA by Avisoft-Bioacoustics which records up to 200 KHz. This microphone was used to record most of the library but the 384KHz format was preserved only where energy was found beyond 96KHz not to occupy unnecessary disk space.
All files are delivered as stereo bounce of these for mics, though in some instances an additional couple of CO100K was added to the sides.
The resulting ultrasonic spectrum is rich and allows for truly extreme manipulation of the content.
Audiobeast is proud to present our second sample library; the only library of its kind to focus entirely on weapons being fired in urban environments! For this recording session we were given access to a military training site known as a FIBUA (Fighting In Built-Up Area) consisting of streets with a variety of buildings, vehicles, and exclusive permission to fire weapons in several locations. Pictures of the street and gas station locations and firing points are included.
The aim of this library was to offer the slapback type tails needed for gun sound design for convincing city scenes in film, games and tv production. It’s always been difficult to find gun recordings in a city environment so we hope this library helps sound people everywhere.
This Library contains over 3 GBs of weapons being fired in multiple urban environments, a street, outside of a gas station and inside of a tower block. 218 WAV files of single shots, bursts and many with multiple takes, all recorded at 96 khz 24 bit, with heaps of information on microphones used and distance from the firearms.
Various distances were captured, from the DPA4062 on the guns themselves, to the distant other end of the street 100 metres away. To add, some mics were positioned around corners, a nearby graveyard, through walls and in armored vehicles to capture a variety of perspectives.
Minimal cleanup on the recordings was carried out very carefully so as not to introduce any artefacts into the recordings, they are presented as raw as possible.
If you need a wider selection of interior gun recordings please check out our first library – The London Warehouse Firearms library
Florida Thunder by Eric Berzins contains 111 distinct wav files with over 200 dry thunderclaps and over 300 thunderclaps with rain. All files were recorded in the US state of Florida between 2021 and 2025. Florida has more lightning strikes than any other U.S. state! All files have been meticulously edited and cleaned, and have embedded UCS-compliant Soundminer metadata.
Animal Hyperrealism Vol I is a library containing sounds themed animal vocalisations, from real to designed creatures totaling more than 1300 individual sounds in 290 files.
The sounds were partly recorded with animals trained for media production, partly recorded in zoos and wildlife centers. The asset list includes but is not limited to: african lions, bengal tigers, horses, donkeys, cows, exotic birds, owls, bobcats, pumas, dromedaries, wolves, dogs, geese, lemurs, gibbons and many more.
All the content has been recorded at 192KHz with a Sanken CO100K plus a Sennheiser 8050 for center image and a couple of Sennheiser MKH8040 for stereo image. All files are delivered as stereo bounce of these four mics, though in some instances an additional couple of CO100K was added to the sides.
The resulting ultrasonic spectrum is rich and allows for truly extreme manipulation of the content.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
