You’ll find in this library the following folders with clear nomenclature and corresponding metadata related to various interactions either with environmental objects or the characters in the game:

    • Cameras: foley sounds of both analog and digital cameras, including manual and digital zooming, button pressing, photographic film and battery insertion, digital power-on and power-off sounds, shooting clicks, and the handling of all camera elements.
    • Disks: CD, DVD and Blu-ray interactions, including the sound effects of respective players’ trays opening and closing, disk insertion and removal from various devices, button pressing, foley sounds of disks being placed, removed and inserted into different cases, and the handling of jewel cases and DVD cases. Also includes mechanical sounds of different recorders and players turning on and off.
    • Radio: long takes of both AM and FM frequencies. AM frequencies prominently feature harsh static, noise and distortion, while FM frequencies include rapid radio station switching with garbled voices, brief musical stings, and smoother static sounds. These frequency types were recorded using both in-line and microphone techniques. Also includes short static bursts from a radio being turned off.
    • Tape Cassettes: everything big, analog and noisy sounding; including cassettes, VHS and Betamax tapes being handled, inserted, and removed from various recorders and devices. Foley sounds of Walkman buttons, cassette and tape cases/boxes. Hums, hisses, ejecting and rewinding sounds from tapes and cassettes. Jack cables being inserted and removed from a tape deck.
    • Vinyl: long takes of vinyl record grain loops, dozens of different needle drops, and over thirty audio files of genuine scratching, slowing down and speeding up sounds (with no digital pitch shifting or other software involved). Also includes foley sounds of records being removed and inserted into sleeves.
  • The Master Gun East HK G3 Sound Effects library is recorded using a large array of various microphone configurations, we recorded shots from several distances in an open shooting range in the Nevada Desert.

    Raw Recordings

Our raw shots features a total of 20 channels including 10 Stereo sources. All of our close and mid spaced pair Microphone options can be used as two independent mono microphones. The right side of every spaced pair will have more Mech than its left side counterpart.
Every single gun has been recorded using the same gain settings on the same recorders, and we have level matched each microphone option between the same calibers so your 50ft microphones will be the same or similar across all libraries that share the same calibers. This makes mixing large amounts of weapons easier as the loudness and character of each gun is predictable.

Our foley features a total of a stereo A/B pair of Neumann KMR81i mts which are placed on both the left and right of the gun. All of the foley has been recorded at 192kHz for extreme processing workflows.

    Designed Mixes

Created from the ground up we’ve designed a collection of game-ready mixes for your next project. If you are creating your own custom weapons system and would like to use our designed mixes in your project, you can use our no-tail options which are our realistic designed mixes without our tail layers. Just drag, and drop.

    UCS compatible metadata embedded

All files contain extensive metadata to provide you with the fastest and easiest workflow possible. Metadata can be read and processed by audio management tools. Some digital audio workstations feature an included search tool that can also read embedded metadata.

  • Bundles MASTERGUN – AKM Play Track 1022 sounds included $60

The Master Gun AKM Sound Effects library is recorded using a large array of various microphone configurations, we recorded shots from several distances in an open shooting range in the Nevada Desert.

    Raw Recordings

Our raw shots features a total of 20 channels including 10 Stereo sources. All of our close and mid spaced pair Microphone options can be used as two independent mono microphones. The right side of every spaced pair will have more Mech than its left side counterpart.

    Suppressed Recordings

In addition to the unsuppressed shot recordings, we’ve also sampled the AKM with a suppressor attachment. The suppressed AKM was sampled right after the unsuppressed recordings using the exact same microphone setup as the unsuppressed version. This provides you a seamless transition between the unsuppressed and the suppressed recordings.
The suppressed recordings also have the added benefit of muting the shot layers which helps bring out the intricate details of the mechanism (mech layers).
Because adding a suppressor to the firearm increases the weapons muzzle velocity, the fire rate of the suppressed weapon is slightly faster than its unsuppressed counterpart.

  • Audiobeast is proud to present our second sample library; the only library of its kind to focus entirely on weapons being fired in urban environments!  For this recording session we were given access to a military training site known as a FIBUA (Fighting In Built-Up Area) consisting of streets with a variety of buildings, vehicles, and exclusive permission to fire weapons in several locations.  Pictures of the street and gas station locations and firing points are included.

The aim of this library was to offer the slapback type tails needed for gun sound design for convincing city scenes in film, games and tv production.  It’s always been difficult to find gun recordings in a city environment so we hope this library helps sound people everywhere.

This Library contains over 3 GBs of weapons being fired in multiple urban environments, a street, outside of a gas station and inside of a tower block. 218 WAV files of single shots, bursts and many with multiple takes, all recorded at 96 khz 24 bit, with heaps of information on microphones used and distance from the firearms.

Various distances were captured, from the DPA4062 on the guns themselves, to the distant other end of the street 100 metres away. To add, some mics were positioned around corners, a nearby graveyard, through walls and in armored vehicles to capture a variety of perspectives.

Minimal cleanup on the recordings was carried out very carefully so as not to introduce any artefacts into the recordings, they are presented as raw as possible.

If you need a wider selection of interior gun recordings please check out our first library – The London Warehouse Firearms library
