I’ve always loved the humming, buzzing servo motor sounds, so there was no question of recording the sound of my scanner.
Of course I plan to record more engine sounds in the future, regardless of size, as time permits.
This sound effect collection is ideal for use in game software, applications, commercials, movies, TV shows,

Retro Bicycle Sound Effect Pack 01 – Minsk AIST 20
This audio library contains the sounds of an old used “Minsk AIST 20” Belorussian bicycle.
The sound recordings have 2 channels: chain wheel, rear wheel and additional sounds.
It always seemed that every bike had a different sound. One of my friend’s bikes was particularly interesting and older, so I decided that I would definitely record its sound. I hope that as time permits I will be able to make more such sound effect collections, because it was very interesting.

Old answering machine voice messages.
I have written and created these authentic sounding answerphone messages. There are male and female British accented messages, the content of which is typical for the period that people used answering machines. No mention of cellphones or social media here. Three voice actors, two male, one female are reading from the same script, with a few variations.
Good for use in TV, film, theatre production, video games, animation and more.
The messages are all recorded on a genuine old machine, so they will be lo-fi.
There are also some sounds of answerphone beeps, tape inserting and ejecting and tape cueing.

POS FUJI Cam Edition is a collection of 346 carefully recorded and mastered camera sound effects.

Collection was recorded using two tope tier Sennheiser microphones: Sennheiser MKH8040 for a closer perspective and MKH8060 shotgun mic for slightly further one.

Remington Rand is an early American typewriter and adding machine manufacturer formed in 1927. The last Remington Rand branded business machine rolled off the line in 1958. The adding machine that we acquired was an electric version in good working condition. Remington Rand also manufactured things like shavers, pistols and calculators.
Our adding machine has a big electronic mechanism for the summing function and nice heavy clacks for the regular keys. It also had some very sticky metal plates that would occasionally get stuck and then pop loose with a big resonant ringing sound. This specific defect made an incredibly interesting sound that is very unique to this specific machine’s wear and tear.
As with the Burroughs Protectograph we miked it with three different mono perspectives to produce three very different sounds on each move. We used Schoeps CMC6/MK4 mics on the front and back and an AT4050 for the wide perspective in mono. The close perspectives are great for big thick clicks and mechanisms, and the wide is excellent for use in one offs for bgfx tracks.
Print Shop is a SFX & Ambiance pack containing a lot of great material from a big industrial print shop. The Soundcatcher recorded 4 different printing machines, Print Shop Ambiances in ORTF and a lot of really nice subsonic stuff with two contact microphones. As always, all sounds are tagged with Soundminer friendly metadata and the pack comes in 4 different sizes and qualities.

Our raw shots features a total of 20 channels including 10 Stereo sources. All of our close and mid spaced pair Microphone options can be used as two independent mono microphones. The right side of every spaced pair will have more Mech than its left side counterpart.
Every single gun has been recorded using the same gain settings on the same recorders, and we have level matched each microphone option between the same calibers so your 50ft microphones will be the same or similar across all libraries that share the same calibers. This makes mixing large amounts of weapons easier as the loudness and character of each gun is predictable.
Our foley features a total of a stereo A/B pair of Neumann KMR81i mts which are placed on both the left and right of the gun. All of the foley has been recorded at 192kHz for extreme processing workflows.

Printing Presses showcases a variety of high-powered and dynamic mechanical sounds from three massive web-offset newspaper presses operating at high speed. In addition, you’ll hear unique mechanical sounds found inside a newspaper’s plate room and packaging department before and after a press run. Plus, I recorded three letterpresses. Each sound is captured with multiple microphone setups at various locations providing detailed and overall perspectives. Listen to presses increasing in speed, humming along at running speed and then coming to a stop. Sometimes gradually, sometimes suddenly. I’ve also created condensed versions of entire press runs as they can be long, presenting them as ‘sequences.’ In addition, some sounds have been meticulously edited and presented as seamless loops.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
