The Electromagnetic Design Bundle brings together three Libraries of electricity infused sound design. From the might of Power Plants to far-reaching Radio Towers and abstract glitches and ambiences, our Audio Craftsmen have shaped and curated what is truly our most energetic collection of Libraries yet.
INCLUDED LIBRARIES:
Electromagnetic Design
Electromagnetic Design Vol. 2
Electromagnetic Design Vol. 3
London Ambiences is a diverse collection of ambiences captured in our field recording sessions around the city of London, UK. The sounds in this library are perfect for creating a natural soundscape of London or other big cities and can be used in your films, documentaries and video games.
Our Audio Craftsmen recorded ambiences from the busy streets of the capital: cafes, tunnels, the iconic Waterloo Bridge, Westminister Bridge, traffic, construction sites and more. The heavy rumbles from bridges, busy roads and streets are great for building a dense, multilayered city soundscape.
All of the included sounds are carefully edited and provided dry in 24Bit/96kHz and are tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata to help you find the right sound for your scene.
Cymbals From Hell Vol. 3 is an unnerving collection of the most disturbing, ominous sounds, brought to you as a sequel to one of our most popular horror libraries to date. Built from Tibetan bowls and various bell recordings, this collection of sound effects is destined to disturb and horrify you to the absolute fullest, bringing out every sense of fear and anguish that your audience has.
This horrifying library is made in association with Igor Tikhonov from KEDR Audio, who captured Tibetan bowls and various bells (performed with different types of beaters) using both Mid-Side and omnidirectional A/B microphone techniques to cover an extensive stereo-field and different textures. Our team of Audio Craftsmen carefully edited and designed them to make the most mysterious and disturbing sounds including harsh hits, low drones, distorted stingers, magical bells, dark – unsetting chimes, and even weird sci-fi drones.
All of the sounds are extensively meta-tagged and UCS compliant so that you can easily find the sound you need. All of the files are in 192kHz/24bit allowing for further sonic manipulation.
Cymbals From Hell Vol. 2 is a haunting collection of raw and designed gong sounds, brought to you as the successor to one of our most popular horror libraries to date. Crafted from various types of gong recordings, this library brings you the creepiest stingers and harshest resonances to terrorise your audiences.
Made in collaboration with Igor Tikhonov from KEDR Audio, who captured various types of gong sounds and several performances using both Mid-Side and omnidirectional A/B microphone techniques to encapsulate an expansive stereo-field and the richest gong textures.
Our Audio Craftsmen then meticulously edited and designed them to make the most frightening and disturbing sounds including harsh, distorted gong rumbles, horror stingers, low heavy gong rumbles, mangled hits, and much, much more.
All the sounds are extensively meta-tagged and are UCS complaint so you can easily find the sound you need and are in 192kHz/24bit allowing for further sonic manipulation.
Pachamama is a background focused library that features uncharted sounds from Bolivia and Peru. This library invites you on a spiritual journey through the bustling city of La Paz to the sacred mountains of Machu Picchu.
This unique collection is comprised of various atmospheres recorded at different times of day – from the drunken hot spring party at night to the pensive street market in the morning. The library is also recorded with an emphasis on indoor perspective ambiences, perfect for your upcoming bedroom scenes.
Recorded and mastered in 24 bit/96 kHz, the library is passionately described with emotive yet precise words, and it is UCS (Universal Category System) compliant.

A collection of sea waves from far to close-ups to enrich your sonic coastlines sound design or simply listen to them for relaxing and be transported back there.
The Soundcloud preview contains only some examples of the full library.
The library contains two different sets of recordings: stereo and/or Ambisonics 3rd Order.
This will cover any needs. If you need mono, you will just need to get only track 1 of the Ambisonics files. If you need different formats, you just need to convert them from the Ambisonics files, which contain all the 360º spherical information. There are plenty of tools out there to use.
Different sets of microphones and recorders have been used to create this library, according to what was best to get the recordings.

Captured in the depths of Kiskendo Cave, Yogyakarta, this field recording album explores the untouched acoustic beauty of an ancient underground space. Each sound was recorded in its raw form, offering an immersive listening experience that reveals the cave’s stillness and power. Whether used for ambient projects, sound design, or quiet reflection, these recordings transport listeners to a world hidden beneath the earth—where nature speaks in echoes and time slows down.
All files are recorded 32bit, 192 kHz, with RØDE NTG1, Line Audio Omni1 and FEL Clippy XLR EM272 microphones, Sound Devices MixPre-6 II recorder. Library contains wav files of driving, interior and exterior foley, mechanical and electrical sounds. It is also available in UCS.
Delirium is a sound effects toolkit, lovingly prepared to accompany your unique and personal descent into madness. Bask in the radiance of wobbling washes of muffled screams, or perhaps some swaying, spiralling tones that make you feel dizzy and nauseous!
Designed primarily using Madrona Labs SUMU, Delirium is perfect for creating tension-filled atmospheres, hypnotic trances, dream sequences, hallucinations and generally unusual, other-worldly situations. Wavering drones that are writhing and moving, fragmented vocal splinters of what used to be human voices before they were dragged into the void, static bursts of interference from a long forgotten transmission that should never have been found… that sort of thing.
It does cover some areas that are more grounded in the real world (Comms Static, UI Glitches), but the majority of stuff in here is proudly un-tethered from reality.
The library is broken down into the following categories and sub categories as part of its comprehensive UCS metadata.
The sounds of Delirium will allow you to travel to weird, wonderful and sometimes unpleasant places with your sonic creations whilst maintaining subtlety and versatility. They are layers waiting to be interwoven, a bag of choice ingredients, a palette of strange colours. Go forth and paint!!!

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.

A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!

We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!

A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!

I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!

A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
