In this sound library you will find ambient and crowd sounds of the Olhão market located in the Algarve, Portugal.
Ambiences and crowds were recorded in the market streets outside and then ambiences and crowds were recorded in the interior market inside the building.
Each recordings reflects a specific venue acoustics, crowd dynamics and perspectives. The primary language found in these recordings are Portuguese.
These sounds were all recorded with the stereo microphone Audio-Technica BP4025.
After working these sounds in post production, this library comes with 14 incredible market ambient sounds.
Airports & Planes is 120 minutes/3.90 Gb of ambiance recordings from a variety of international airports around the world, as well as airplane interiors. 48 separate files – recorded in 24bit/96kHz A-B stereo. All sounds are UCS-compatible
Airport & Planes was recorded between 2015-2018, in airports from Rome to Qatar, and in a variety of large capacity commercial passenger craft.
It presents modern air travel from the passenger perspective, covering everything from airport shopping areas and security checks, to
taxiing, takeoff, cruising and landing – with and without passenger walla, rummaging with luggage compartments and seat belt buckles.
It was all recorded stealth style, but nevertheless delivers lots of different perspectives and variation. Room tones from airplane interiors
come in different timbres (read: flavors of background noise), ranging from the tonally dry and flat, to rumbling and wheezing.
You will also find spoken announcements in various languages from English to Japanese; in both airports and onboard planes.
The characteristic bell or ping accompanying announcements in flight is also included, in two different versions:
One was isolated from an actual recording, while the other was synthesized to match the first, but sounding cleaner.
As a tasty little bonus, I’m throwing in a couple interiors from a bona-fide airliner lavatory.
All in all, lots of suitcase wheels, rolling sidewalks and whooshy airplane tones.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
