Get the sounds of flowing, streaming water – in ambisonics format. features the sounds of waterfalls, large and small rivers and streams.
Pipe Noise & Flow is a sound effects library built around the hidden voices of pipe systems, large and small. Captured over several years across industrial plants, residential buildings, factories, sewers, underground tunnels, caves and public infrastructure, this collection brings together a wide range of sonically rich material.
You’ll hear water, gas, and air moving through pipes made of metal steel, copper, aluminium, plastic, glass, concrete, and stone. There are massive flows and subtle trickles, bursts of pressure, hollow resonances, eerie whistles, and the strange tonalities that emerge when systems crack, leak, or fail. Many recordings feature broken or deteriorating pipes, full of texture and unpredictability. While there is plenty of industrial and subterranean grit, you’ll also find more subtle sources like kitchen sinks, bathroom plumbing, and everyday interior systems; sounds that can lend realism or eeriness to intimate scenes.
This library is designed to be flexible and inspiring. Use it to create detailed ambiences for sci-fi, horror, and post-apocalyptic settings, to build layered mechanical textures for machines and user interfaces, or to design unique elements for hybrid weapons, alien devices, strange creatures or abandoned environments. Whether you need the realism of urban infrastructure or the surreal qualities of a forgotten machine, Pipe Noise & Flow offers an unexpected toolkit full of possibility.
This Sound-Pack features a diversity of 84 Samples including Norway’s bests Waterfalls, Rivers, Ocean Shores, City Life, Harbours, Ferrys, Birds, Ice Cream Trucks and many more !

Finnhamn – Sounds From The Kvarken Archipelago is a collection of natural soundscapes recorded in the Finnish nature during one year.
Finnhamn is a small peninsula in the Kvarken World Heritage Site. Here you can find both wild coastal and calm archipelago landscapes, an old growth forest, wetland, lakes and open plains.
This covers in other words a lot of the landscapes you will find in Scandinavia.
The recordings where made during a one year period, so soundscapes from all four seasons are well covered.
The trail to the old fishing cottage on the hill of the headland goes trough a 300 year old protected forest that is home to a multitude of animals, birds, insects, trees and plants, some of which we get to know more intimately in these recordings. Finnhamn is located in the unique Kvarken Archipelago, which is Finland’s only Natural World Heritage Site on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Together with Sweden’s High Coast, the Kvarken Archipelago is the best place in the world to experience and understand the land uplift phenomenon caused by the last Ice Age.
The isolated location of Finnhamn and the adjacent forest is rather unique in that sense, that not much sound pollution reaches it. It is well worth a visit if you want to experience deep natural quiet and wonderful and invigorating nature.
The package contains 165 files with a total playing time of 14 hours!
Recorded in 48kHz & 24 bit with a Sound Devices 633 recorder, DPA 4061 microphones and JRF D-series hydrophones. Presented in 48kHz, 24 bit & 44.1kHz, 16 bit stereo.
The compressed package is 9.8/4.5GB.
The tracks are labeled according to the UCS standard, except for the first 4 characters that indicates the order in which the tracks where recorded. If you want to use a database that speaks the UCS language, then please remove the first 4 characters of the filename. You can then arrange the tracks in the right order using the last UserData field (the date).
FOREST LIFE is a diverse collection of 104 isolated Forest Ambiences and Wildlife Sounds. It includes all of the sounds from the FOREST DAY and the FOREST NIGHT Sound Libraries, along with the Rivers and Lakes featured in the OCEANS RIVERS LAKES library. In addition, I’ve included the free mini library FOOTHILLS.
FOREST LIFE came out of a love for hiking and exploring Mountains and Forests and capturing the wonderful soundscapes of that world. Most of these recordings took place in California, in particular, a number of areas throughout the Angeles Forest. You’ll also come across sounds from high atop the Eastern Sierras, San Jacinto Wilderness, Los Padres Forest, and the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.
A variety of different bird species are included, at lower elevation settings, higher Mountains, throughout the day and night, some in isolation, others sometimes alongside wind and when at night, insects.
Also included are isolated Mountain winds in different variations and with vegetation and tree creaks. There’s Cicadas along with different sounding Crickets throughout various times of the night and day.
In the water collection there’s everything from slow trickle creeks coming out of Abandoned Mines to the fast flow of the Hoh River to gentle lake laps high atop the glaciers of the Inyo Forest.
The FOOTHILLS bonus library includes 9 files of Winds and Birds, and a few of the wonderful sounds of an Abandoned Ranch.
Detailed metadata and markers have been provided so they’re easily searchable. Photos are embedded in every file to give an idea of what the location was like. Checking out the Metadata Sheet will give one a better idea of everything else that’s in the library.

Ambiences from Corfu, Greece is a collection of 26 ambiences recorded in summer on one of the greenest islands in the Ionian Sea.

A total of 57 minutes, recorded at 192kHz/24bit.
Sea & Surf is nearly 6 hours / 11 GB of wave sound effects – some over 15 minutes long.
49 separate files – recorded in 24bit/96kHz. All sounds are UCS-compatible.
Sea & Surf represents a decade of collecting wave sound effects on Danish shores. With over 7000 km of coastline to record, there is a bit of everything here. From the shallow waters of Aarhus Bay, to the roaring North Sea at Hanstholm on the shoulder of Jutland, I recorded waves crashing, splashing, lapping and even clucking.
I visited marinas, jetties, breakwaters, piers, a lake, and even the inside of a WW2-era concrete bunker. Here are close-ups from the waterline, from between the boulders of a breakwater and waves clucking quietly on the rocky coast of Bornholm.
At the North Sea, I recorded in several positions, from right in the waterline, to behind large sand dunes. I made sure to set up my microphones at several elevations, to capture the variation in sound this affords. These are not squeaky-clean recordings, as some of the quieter ones do contain the odd bird sound here and there. You will also hear grasses and other vegetation rustled by the wind, but that all adds to the realism, of course!
Recording waves is a bit like recording wind, by the way, in that it is basically white noise and can quickly be reduced to sounding like it – if you stand in the wrong place. This is probably the “soothing” quality, many people hear in wave sounds. However, there is a lot more to water waves than relaxation sounds, and so I’ve always attempted to capture the drama and the variation, along with the more obvious wave sounds.
Recordings were made in A-B stereo as well as X/Y, with the M/S sources included in the download. This gives you more flexibility to widen or narrow the sounds in post-production. Microphones used were both Sennheiser MKH series and Primo EM172 omni electret capsules.
Some recordings are focused on the distant perspective, while others zoom in on each wave impacting a surface, which is where M/S lets you choose how sharply you want to frame the sound.
Escape the city and explore Sydney’s surrounding areas and beaches. Listen to the relaxing ocean waves in Manly on a hot sunny day. Go on a pleasant walk from Bondi to Bronte and appreciate the nature sounds. Finally, go to the wildlife park to discover Australia’s exotic soundscapes mixed with visitors.

Nature and Urban Field Recordings From the Caribbean
Immerse your audience in the rich and beautiful sounds of the coastal area of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
Audio Explorer: Dominican Republic Sound Library brings you well over 2 hours of vibrant, detailed and deeply authentic sound recordings from various locations around the Dominican Republic, including lively and bustling city streets, the charming Independence Park and Umbrella Street areas, as well as various coastal and inland ambiences complete with wildlife, wind and vegetation.
Going a little deeper into the content of this library, there are two different sound location approaches to cover all situations where the island’s life might need to be portrayed. On the one hand you get lively – or quieter – city and resort recordings, and on the other hand included are beach, inland and vegetation recordings at varying distances from water, groves, and dunes.
In the more urban recordings, you’ll hear the sounds of everyday life, from the hustle and bustle of busy streets to the tranquil sounds of quiet alleys. You’ll hear the chatter of local life and in some recordings the sound of cars and motorbikes navigating the streets. In addition, the resort recordings offer a glimpse into the more peaceful side of Puerto Plata, with sounds of waves crashing on the beach, birds chirping, and the rustling of palm trees in the breeze.
Irrigation is a collection of water flow ambiances captured in and around the Treasure Valley of southwestern Idaho, where the Payette, Boise, Weiser, Malheur, Owyhee and Burnt rivers drain into the Snake River. Follow the flow of crystal clear water as it travels from mountain-fed streams and rivers down into large reservoirs. Listen as water courses through the pipes and along the canals that carry it to sprinklers large and small. Finally, irrigated water fans out onto verdant golf courses, people’s front yards and farmland.
Be inches away from the sweeping spray of center-pivot irrigators. These create acres and acres of green circles in an otherwise barren landscape, making agriculture here possible. As a sonic side benefit, they produce cadenced sounds that will lull you to sleep.
Water allocation, i.e., who gets how much when there’s not enough to go around, is a huge, polarizing issue confronting residents, industries, politicians and wildlife in the western United States. Farmland is turning into subdivisions at an alarming rate.
Use these recordings, captured in pristine 24-bit/96 kHz quality by field recordist Richard Alan Hannon, to illustrate subject matter that will be in the headlines for years to come. Seamless loops have been meticulously crafted from sounds that allow for it. Giving you more opportunities to utilize these sounds in your projects.

A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
