Elements: Ice is a collection of ice sounds recorded and edited over the 2015/2016 winter by George Vlad. The library is made up of more than 1500 individual ice sounds including cracks, creaks, hits, impacts, smashes, drags, stomps, splashes and water under ice ambience. The sounds have been recorded over more than 4 months in Romania and Scotland at temperatures ranging between -25C/-13F and 5C/41F.

The library’s most obvious use is as Foley elements since it covers a wide variety of ice thicknesses and performances. As is the case with other libraries in the Elements series, these sounds can also be used for other purposes such as gore sweeteners, glass or wood cracks, bone breaks etc. Additionally, all files are recorded and mastered at 24/96 quality which makes them excellent sound design elements ripe for serious processing.

This is a small collection of nature sounds and ambiences, captured at the coast of Northland, New Zealand. You can hear many different birds, including the Tui, Bellbird and Barbary Dove.You can also find tracks with lots of very loud and noisy Chorus cicadas. As well as more quiet crickets at night.

All nature recordings are clear and completely free from external noise and other human disruptions, which is why this library will be especially useful for productions taking place in medieval times and nature documentaries.The average length of each file is between 3-5 minutes, so enough time to use in longer scenes without looping. ‘Nightlife’ is an collection of authentic nightclub based crowd ambiences, professionally recorded over an entire evening outside a busy and popular nightlife location in London.

This unique library captures audible moments beginning with a few small groups of revellers, excitable but sober as they arrive for their evening out. Then the ambiences journey through to the earlier hours of the next morning and throwing out time, when larger crowds emerge louder, looser and perhaps drunker than before.

These expressive tracks perfectly capture the atmosphere of a night evolving, featuring genuine nightlife walla and including ‘spot’ type effects of reactions such as; whoops, shouts, cheers and screams.
