All assets have been recorded & produced at 96kHz/24bit Mono
Included in this pack:
Red Libraries teamed up with the sound designers Frederic Devanlay and Thibault Csukonyi to create the new “Mutant Insects” collection
The library gathers a wide range of oversized wings for equally-oversized designed flying insects, along with an extremely rich toolbox. It allows you to quickly and easily create every flying creatures and mutants you have in mind, but also sweeten or emphasize details with natural layers for real-life documentaries, games or feature films.
These insects are more impressive than in real life by their size and the noise made when flying.
So we called them “MUTANT Insects”.
And why not also use it for bird wings…
8 different species are featured : Fly, Hornet, Grasshopper, Beetle, Moth, Gnat, Rhino Beetle, Dragonfly.
The movements offered are Idles (loop), Passes by, Swirling Evolutions (loop), Swarms (loop), Abrupt Movements (take flights, attacks, spasms…)
These evolutions have been created with the help of the Traveler plugin by Tonsturm, and the Sound Particles software by Sound Particles.
Presets for Sound Particles and Traveler are included in the pack. Many thanks to Tilman Hahn and Nuno Fonseca.
The toolbox will allow to imagine your own mutants or to just simply create real insects, With natural layers such as hummings or different appearances to made wing strokes.

All recordings are captured in pristine nature in: morning, daytime, night time and all year round. Recordings are free of noise pollution and air traffic, ready to use in your project. This library may be interesting to sound designers working in the game industry for making more realistic worlds or even for those working in nature history documentary production. Here you can find ambiances and other possible sounds missing from original footage (often the case with telephoto lens shooting). Among nature soundscapes, dawn choruses, nocturnal recordings here you can find sounds of European gray wolf (Canis lupus), Brown bear (Ursus arctos), Red fox (Vulpes vulpes), Red deer (Cervus elaphus) and many other woodland mammals.

There is an essential guide where to use sounds regarding habitat (in metadata description and tracklist). Especially for video if you are not sure where specific birds or other sounds belong.
The maximum peak level on all recordings is -5 dBFS (for great dynamic range, great headroom).
Terrifying squeals, grunts, barks, and sneeze from adult pigs weighing up to 400 lbs, and ambiences from the stables. The second part is recordings of smaller pigs (80 lbs) on the day they were picked up by truck to go you know where! The pigs knew exactly what was going on, which is represented in the sounds recorded.
Needless to say, this library has been ear wrecking to put together, but the reward is 246 single files of pure pigs.

Beef up your sound design with the ferocity of Gators – from beastly bellows and monstrous growls to aggressive hisses and vicious jaw snaps. This one-of-a-kind, exclusive speciality library delivers stunning alligator sound effects ready to add power and intensity your audio projects.
And “one-of-a-kind” is no exaggeration. There’s a reason you will not find a similar collection dedicated to alligator or crocodile sound effects anywhere else. These sounds can not only be dangerous to record, but they are extremely difficult to capture as alligators are typically very stealthy, quiet creatures… except during mating season.
Luckily, recordist Colin Hart embarked on several excursions to the swamps of Florida to develop a method for cueing the monstrous sounds from these cold-blooded beasts – so you don’t have to. After seven years (plus a mangled blimp, destroyed boom pole, JBL baby stroller, and a couple testing subwoofers from Boeing), these incredible alligator recordings are now available for your own projects.
In addition to bellowing mating calls, warning hisses, terrifying snarls and more alligator sounds, the Gators library also provides partially submerged hydrophone recordings as well as marsh and bird ambiences.
Add this rare secret weapon to your sound design toolset and give life to creatures, monsters, dragons, dinosaurs, crocodiles, and other beasts. The organic immensity of these sounds also make perfect layers for explosions, thunder, fire, engines and more. Gators is also included in Pro Sound Effects’ CORE: Standard.

This mini -library contains sounds from a reptile shelter. They take in injured, negelcted or abandond reptiles and take care of them. They finance through a small zoo and due to corona had significant loss in income. 50% of the sales of this library will directly be donated to the shelter. For more information check: https://www.reptilien-auffangstation.de/
The recordings contain sounds from 14 different species. With the focus on reptiles, it also features amphibians, mammals and birds.
Ever needed a realistic hiss of an Arabian Cobra, the roar of a Nile crocodile, the sweet chirping of a Djungarian hamster, or the whistling sound of a Reticulated Phyton coming out of cold water? Here you go. With two mic positions in 192kHz I followed around the tails of big (Diamondback-) and small (Massasauga-) Rattlesnakes. I even recorded the purr of giant lizards (monitors).
If you don’t need these specific animals, these growls, sizzling, and calls are a great source sounds for dragons, dinosaurs, monsters and other beasts. Also great to add as a layer in vehicle sound design or as sweeteners to add the noise of a dart frog to your jungle atmo.
These recordings are hard to come by and my mics were nearly hit by poison, that crystalizes and stays venomous for years to come as well as they got nearly eaten by a crocodile (was very scary indeed with me at the other end of the (way too short) boom pole)
The best part, the handling with the animals was very thoughtful. No animals were tortured or stressed. They had some great animal voices at the shelter, that didn’t want to speak during the recording session, so we let them sleep and didn’t take any animals away from their hide.
Full List: Arabian Cobra, Diamondback Rattlesnake, Diamond Dove, Djungarian Hamster, Domestic Chicken, Domestic Goat, Nile Crocodile, Massasauga Rattler, Papua Monitor, Puff Adder, Reticulated Phyton, Ring Tailed Lemur, Yellow-Banded Poison Dart Frog and, well, a fish tank with my hydrophone with some weird electronic sounds from the heating.

The library was recorded at a Mexican farm. The microphones were hidden inside the chicken coops and leave them overnight until the next morning. The sounds captured are unique and hard to get with the presence of humans around.
You will find different Rooster and Hen sounds when they do different actions. Some of them are sleeping, snoring, getting scared, chasing themself, Jumping around, Flapping their wings, Waking up, and many more.

With 146 expressive bear sound effects and vocalizations, these high-quality recordings contain a wide variety of grunts, roars, sniffs, mouth smacks, and purrs that are ready for naturalistic use or manipulation for sound design applications.
Recorded at 24-bit/192kHz using multiple microphones including the Sanken CO-100K, which captures and maintains up to 100kHz (rather than 20kHz from other microphones), field recordist and sound designer Chris Diebold (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Transformers: The Last Knight) captured the unique vocalizations and slimy mouth-noises of an old aged male Grizzly bear. Use the natural and characteristic recordings of deep groans, slimy chews, and heavy breaths for pitch processing and control over your sound design, to design your beasts, creatures, monsters and more.
In addition to these raw bear recordings, this collection also contains 41 designed and “hyped” sounds, ready to drag-and-drop directly into your monstrous designs and animalistic scenes. African Rainforest is an expansive collection of recordings made in the various types of rainforest that lie on the Ugandan side of the Albertine Rift, ranging from high-altitude afromontane to tropical lowland jungles.

Yet beyond all the monkey exuberance, these recordings are characterised by tranquility and spaciousness, where slow lazy bird calls are interspersed by gently fluttering insect choruses and pinging tree frogs.
Available in stereo and surround and covering all times of day, African Rainforest not only features lengthy ambient recordings but also includes a number of close-up vocalisations of two kinds of great ape: chimpanzee and mountain gorilla, recorded on location in their natural habitat.
• 5.5 hours of lush ambiences in surround & stereo

• Numerous frogs and mammals
• Bonus recordings of close up chimp & gorilla vocalisations
Shiba dog is a collection of dog sounds recorded in our studio. We brought two Shibas to the studio and let them play with each other. One of them is a very vocal dog and the other one is very quiet. This allowed us to capture a wide variety of sounds, from barking to panting, without a lot of overlapping.
We recorded everything with four microphones to get the most out of this session. We included all the good takes in this collection, so each sound is covered with at least three microphones. The following microphones were used:
• Line Audio CM3 small diaphragm condenser (cardioid)
• Line Audio OM1 small diaphragm condenser (omni)
• Rode NT2000 large diaphragm condenser (cardioid)
• Rode NTG3 shotgun
A big thank you goes out to Jory Prum for helping out with planning and recording!
No animals were harmed or mistreated during the recording of this collection.

Cataclysm is a vast collection of recorded, synthesized and designed sounds created to support important destructive moments and add a stronger sense of extreme consequence to any sound.
The recorded section of library features elements such as flash powder explosions, propane cannon blasts and artillery cannons recorded in unique natural environments with violent transients and lush, long and varied tails. It also features falling trees, forge burners, large trebuchet wood groans, rock smashes as well as more ordinary items recorded and designed to feel like an over the top version of themselves such as vacuum cleaner suctions, metal vase holders, ground pounders and more.
The synthesized section of the library features equally rich textures in the form of explosion sweeteners, other-worldly environmental reflections, scorching energy risers and more.
Finally, recorded and synthesized content was employed to develop the designed section, where the hyperrealism of the recordings meets the clean yet aggressive textures of the synthesized section in catastrophic assets themed around the library’s title.
Animal Hyperrealism Vol III is a library containing sounds themed animal vocalisations, from real to designed creatures totaling more than 1700 individual sounds in 279 files.
The sounds were recorded in zoos and wildlife centers. The asset list includes but is not limited to: european red deers, monkeys, reindeers, hornbills camels, crickets, tamarins, boars, frogs, red ruffed lemurs, parrots, and many more.
The content has been recorded at 192KHz with a Sanken CO100K plus a Sennheiser 8050 for center image and a couple of Sennheiser MKH8040 for stereo image.
Part of the cheats section of the library features samples recorded at 384KHz. For these sounds an additional microphone was employed, specifically the CMPA by Avisoft-Bioacoustics which records up to 200 KHz. This microphone was used to record most of the library but the 384KHz format was preserved only where energy was found beyond 96KHz not to occupy unnecessary disk space.
All files are delivered as stereo bounce of these for mics, though in some instances an additional couple of CO100K was added to the sides.
The resulting ultrasonic spectrum is rich and allows for truly extreme manipulation of the content.
