The NRS quest for the perfect guitar tone continues. This time we have covered the grounds that are wild and hard to reach, for most. Our unique team of sound designers have, spent the last 6 months developing a brand new set of cabinet and mic impulse responses for you. Thanks to our custom mathematical equations and processing algorithms that aid us in accurate hardware modeling, we have reached a much wider than usual variety of sound possible.
The final result closes the gap between our previous release and adds an inspiring selection of new tones which will fit both acoustic guitarist and aggressive rock-roll head or pure bass guitar virtuoso. We can guarantee that you will be very positively surprised. Try our mic-coloring IRs for gentle character or creative use, or dive deeper into guitar and bass cabs, to enjoy an experience full of wonderful tones and possibilities. Surround Sound LAB is proud to present our first ambisonic library decoded and mixed in Dolby ATMOS.
After several months recording around Madrid, we are including 22 tracks in ambisonic format, 48Khz and 24 bits HD of Far city Ambiences.
As always, top quality recordings specially designed for film audio projects.
This time we have mastered all the files in Ad Hoc Studios Madrid (link), Post Production sound studios certified by Avid and Dolby ATMOS, one of the best post production facilities in Spain.
We have decoded all the First Order Ambisonic recordings with the HarpeX plugin into a 7.1.2 Dolby ATMOS bed configuration, using the top channel to create totally outstanding ambiences tracks ready to use.
We want to let you know that Surround Sound LAB. new releases will be in Ambisonic format. This way you will be able to decode it from mono to Atmos systems. Also it’s important to think in ambisonics as the way to go for VR – and we are ready for it.

‘Tackle Box’ by Badlands Sound features 155 sound effects of various sounds of an old metal tackle box. This library will be a great addition to add more fishing sound effects in a video game or at small metal sounds in a film. Some sounds include opening and closing tackle box, rustling around looking for specific fishing accessories, grabbing different types of lures, and much more!
All of these sounds were recorded with high-quality professional equipment inside my studio. Recorded with Sound Devices 702t and Sennheiser MKH 8040 – 94k 24 bit.

Print is a boutique sound effects library of automated clicking, beeping, and whirring sounds all captured from a single Ricoh® laser printer. Every action, setting, and component of the machine was pristinely recorded to give you high-quality printer sound effects including the paper feed, scanner bed, duplexer and more.

Blade Runner 2049, Mad Max: Fury Road
The Triumph Street Triple is a naked motorcycle made by Triumph Motorcycles, first released towards the end of 2007. The bike is closely modelled on the Speed Triple 1050 but uses a re-tuned inline three cylinder 675 cc engine from the Daytona 675 sport bike
The library include recordings on board driving, passing by, idle engine, looped engine at different rpm, foley. Microphones used near engine and exhaust for the onboard and engines sounds, 2 fixed microphones and one following for the passing by, close microphone for foley.

This library is all about wheels – and lots of them! Includes recordings of a selection of objects with wheels such as carts, transport stretchers, gurneys, rolling stands, shelves, IV stands, wooden tables, wheelchairs – and all the button clicks, slides, latches, and electronics that come with them.
All sounds were recorded in Mid/Side technique with mid on the left channel and side on the right. Recorded with Project Studio C4 mics, Sennheiser 416 Mics, Ambient Emesser, on a Fostex FRÂ2 2 track recorder and mastered in Pro Tools.
The left side of the RAW files can be used as a MONO center effect and the encoded files as a stereo effect which has the width of an XY configuration and can be panned center for a mono compatible mix.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
