We invited a lot of babies at the age from 3 to 24 months – boys and girls – to our studio.

They followed our call, brought their parents and the funny and often loud recordings started. We also equipped every new parent in our office with our best microphones and recorders and instructed them on how to record their own babies at home. Recorded in a quiet space with an MKH50 through a John Hardy preamp, this libary is small but mighty. Also included is a NI Battery 4 kit that is programmed to enhance the best characteristics of the source material by doing transient enhancement, eq, delay and compression that can be dialed in to taste.

Note: NI Battery 4 is required to use the kit – not included. You don’t need any version of Battery to use the audio files as a standalone sample library.

A meditation on the most versatile audio tool with which we are biologically equipped, we have carefully crafted this collection of mouth noises to provide you with highly dynamic and almost unpredictable organic audio fare. However, we tried to explore less conventional noises and specifically avoided the usual burps, coughs, throat clears, etc. Captured from a single male voice actor, this collection includes squishy spurts, saliva smacks, guttural loops, pops, clicks, cracks, inhales, exhales, and air bursts.

A particular part of this library is the intentional use of creating soft distortion from moving air over the mic membranes in specific ways. Industrial Ambiences Laundry Mangles Play Track 200+ sounds included, 110 mins total $40

Laundry Mangles is a library full of sounds from vintage machines that once where used in many public washhouses. In some locations they are in use even today.

Basically, the weight of a huge box filled with stones was used to press big pieces of linen, bed sheets or towels wound on rollers below. Early models were operated by hand which was very exhausting and soon the machines were equipped with electric motors and belt drives.
