Hello my names Cal, happy and proud to be classed as a Sound Designer and working within the Audio Industry. I came late to the game but deep down this has always been a passion of mine. Since around 2017 I’ve been Sound Designing and Composing but in 2020 I did some field recording for a film and enjoyed it so much I added field recording to my belt, this led to me creating Sample Packs and Kontakt Instruments under the business name In Motion Audio.     We wanted to record the sound of a city, the hustle and bustle, the noise, the traffic so what better place than Manchester

    We recorded multiple types of ambiences in different parts of Manchester through out the day, this includes:

    Crowds of people shopping, commuting and passing by

    Various transportations including cars, busses, Trucks, bikes and trams with their high pitched squeaks and horns
    Police sirens in the distance and up close
    Car Horns
    Pedestrian crossing Beeps

    Some quieter areas of Manchester where you can hear the traffic but less crowds for a different perspective of Manchester

  • Electricity Sound Effects Lawn Mower Ambience Play Track 3 sounds included, 7 mins total $7

    Lawn Mower Ambience was recorded in an opportunist moment whilst recording another sample pack

    We centred the Zoom H4N facing an average UK back garden on a spring ish day and recorded someone naturally mowing their lawn with an electric mower.

    This sample pack has different perspectives from close to distant mowing, with different panning elements which were recorded naturally from up to down to left to right and a lawn Mower stopping.

    This sample pack will be great for a lawn mower in the background of your project or wanting a natural sound palette of someone mowing a lawn.   • Electricity Sound Effects Electromagnesis 1 Play Track 67 sounds included, 22 mins total $20

    Electromagnesis was recorded using an Electromagnetic Coil Pickup via the Zoom H4N

    We’ve followed up Sinister Textures Volume 1 with something more Ghoulish and Sinister

    These recordings were made from a variety of Electronical sources, Geofone recordings and Software Synths/Instruments and then re-mangled and tortured till there was nothing left but fear, making them suggestively Eerie, Scary, Horror full and down right extra Sinister

    Sinister Textures Volume 2 contains 50 terrifying audio samples and has a total running time of 1 Hour and 36 mins and 10 seconds, which is exactly the same amount of time you wait in the cue to enter through the gates of Hell……… or so we’re told.

    We came across some Local Construction/Repair work being done, to which we were able to capture the general sound of construction work being done

    You can hear heavy machinery, engines powering up and powering down whilst remaining constant and Idle, as well as various bang and knocks from completing the construction. We also managed to record the sound of a truck reversing, Workers shouting and a Saw and Drill being used.

    We recorded these samples using Ed Devane’s Magnetic Piezo, the Korg CM 300 and the LOM Geofon. We recorded a variety of metal objects being hit with a variety of different items and then edited these sounds to create clock based tick/tocks

    This Sample pack was recorded in a variety of Small to Large Northern Shops in the UK

    Capturing the natural ambience of several shop tones as well as the Northern Shoppers going about their daily shop. When recording we wanted to be as disccrete as possible to get the northern shopper as natural as possible.
    We also managed to capture Fridge Tones, Till Bleeps, Self Checkout Announcements, Trolley Noises and General shopper movements

    We recorded a decommissioned UK Police Van (Ford Transit)

    It made sense that whilst doing a Wood based tip run, that we should record the wood before actually taking it to the tip.

    Spoiler Alert: The wood was hurt in the making of this sample pack, but we recycled it.

  • Environments & Ambiences The Forest Play Track 12 sounds included, 31 mins total $20

    So We’ve been wanting to record in a deep dense Forest for sometime and this one was not only enjoyable but absolutely beautiful

    We travelled to the Forest of Bowland, to record the beautiful sounds this Forest had to offer.

    We were surrounded by Dense Conifer tree’s on a slightly damp/windy day which added to the atmosphere and extraordinary sounds the Forest created, with a constant variety of Bird songs and on occasions Sheep Bleating, it truly added to the recording experience.
    Bowland was a hive of activity with some recordings capturing Aeroplane noises and vehicles driving around the Forest but we also got a variety of just natural Forest sounds without these disturbances.

    These samples were recorded using the H4N Pro and the NTG4 from several of the finest bridges that the North West has to offer, capturing several different points of the M6 and M61 during the day and yes at stupid o’clock at night as well

    The sample pack contains a massive range of Car’s, Van’s, Lorry’s and Motorbike bypass sounds, each vehicle with its own unique distinctive sound going at high pace on a UK Motorway.

    We were able to capture cars crossing lanes, driving over cat eyes, carrying heavy loads and traffic that was both on coming and departing.

  • Environments & Ambiences Train Interior Ambience Play Track 23 sounds included, 62 mins total $20

    We wanted to add to a recent sample pack (Train Station Ambience), so that it allowed any Sound Designer the ability to complete their project from someone waiting in a Train Station to the Train Journey.

    We recorded the natural ambience of a UK train Interior, taking a Northern journey from Preston to Manchester Piccadilly and back again.

    Not only did we record the general ambience of the train interior, we managed to capture the sound of the engines idle, departing and slowing down, the natural creak of the train and the typical sound of train movements, as well as passengers boarding and debarking, the general Northern chatter and movement of the everyday commuter, as well as various beeps, doors shutting and tannoy calls/communication.

    We travelled to several local Corn Fields in the UK and recorded the sound of corn stalks moving in the wind.

  • Environments & Ambiences Submerge Play Track 67 sounds included, 34 mins total $20

    Submerge was created using a stereo hydrophone which recorded submerged and underwater sounds. We recorded various water sources from streams, rivers, waterfalls, showers and drains

    We were able to record:

    Drain water flow and movement with bubbles, gargling and draining sounds

    Flow/Currents of Rivers and Streams moving

    Impacts/Dunks and Splashes

    and

    Rock Movements under the water

    Recording with a stereo hydrophone allowed us to captured unique and different sounds on both tracks, so for instance, left track was underwater but on the right track it had the sound of drips falling on to the Hydrophone from a water fall. Giving you options to split the audio for different tonalities, giving you more audio to work with for your said project.

    Submerge has been edited to allow a drop in ready and Royalty Free sample pack. These Samples can be used in a variety of projects from Sound Designing through to Composing for a variety of projects such as TV, Film, Documentaries and Video Games.
