Effectsworks is a small indie recording outfit based in Ireland and set up by Bob Pepper. Bob has over a decade of industry experience in the fields of animation, e-learning, recording and production.
Effectsworks is dedicated to bringing you the highest quality bespoke sounds for you to use in any of your projects, large or small.

  • This horrific sound pack contains 500 sounds, all based on the terrifying shriek of the Aztec Death Whistle. There are an array of designed sounds that can be dropped into any production. This versatile pack contains designed, reverb textures, ghostly reverses, terrifying shrieks, wheezing groans and screams as well as articulations from the Death Whistle itself.

    The original dry recordings are also included, so you now can mangle even them further to your black heart’s desire.

    All recordings were made using a Sennheiser MKH 80 50, Sound Devices and lightly mastered with Izotope RX9.

    All files are meta-tagged (Soundminer) and labelled.

  • This kit has been meticulously recorded and curated to be your number one kit for creating dynamic impact and destruction effects. The sounds contained are only lightly processed to give you the material you need for crafting your own custom impacts, regardless of size. These sounds are also perfect for Foley or audio post.

    Sound highlights include: smashing a variety of interesting junk into a huge industrial dumpster, as well as a camper-van that was dismantled and lovingly destroyed on site. There are a wide range of other original sources to choose from — from the disturbingly heavy to the ultra light — to make layering huge and complex sounds as easy as possible.

    This pack contains over 1400 sounds sourced from a variety of vintage gear from the 1970s and 80s, ranging from old analog sound equipment to obscure kitchen tools. This pack works great for Foley or just as sonic inspiration and would be ideal for use in games or movies.

    Highlights include two different reel-to-reel tape recorders from the 1970s and an assortment of retro tools and implements. Included are a few bonus more modern sounds – just to complete the pack’s usability.

  • This sound library contains a wide variety of creaks, squeaks and squeals. All content was recorded using high-quality, professional equipment, such as Sennheiser MKH-8050, Neumann Kmr81i, Rode NTG3, and Sony PCM-d100.

    This unique sound library contains 145 files with over 1300 high-quality sounds from a wide variety of sources, including materials such as glass, rusty ladders, wicker baskets, vintage leather jackets, and large ovens. These sounds can be used for traditional foley, eerie horror, or for any sound design you can imagine. Metadata is provided.

    This sound library contains a multitude of coins on different surfaces with a wide variety of performances. The coins come from different countries and some are no longer minted. I also used heavy centenary coins to simulate old world coins for your gaming audio needs.

    All content was recorded using high-quality, professional equipment – Neumann KMR81i and Sound Devices. All files were recorded at: 24bit, 96 kHz in an acoustically treated room. Meta Data is also included.
