Interior wind is a collection of pitched tonal howls, steady breezes and dynamic powerful gusts in stereo and surround. It’s full of whistling, fluttering and buffeting wind recorded indoors. It has more than 3 hours of indoor wind ambiences from houses, apartments, cabins, halls and a car. All files are thoroughly and carefully tagged with metadata and have UCS-compliant file naming.

Characterful wind without man-made sound or birds
It’s a collection of wind from an inside perspective made with years of patience waiting for the right storms to come along while finding different locations with their own character.
Pure singing wind and creaking houses
Mostly recorded at night during the cold winter, the sounds are isolated wind through cracks, crevices, wind shafts and slightly open doors or windows. Some with the structure creaking and moving, others just howling tones. Others are the powerful sound of wind pushing against the wall or roof, adding pressure and buffeting.
Great variety and many locations
One of the locations we went to was in a house placed under a 120 meter (394 feet) tall power line. The power lines would resonate with a very low and ominous howl while the pylon would emit a specific note when the wind came from the right direction. Another recording session was done in a small wooden cabin in rural Denmark with all walls moving, creaking and making cracking sounds. Others were recorded in apartments or more traditional houses in rooms and attics.
Getting control of the wind
I looked at the wind direction and open windows and doors on the other side of the house to stimulate air flow and record through the tiny cracks. This way I got some control and could play with the tones and force of the wind.
Recording techniques
The surround files were recorded with an IRT Cross in surround while the stereo files range from XY to ORTF depending on the source.
Everything was recorded with MKH50 microphones on a Sound Devices 744T.
Close, Medium and Distant recordings
The collection has variation in distance to capture both the creaks and movement in the room while others are recorded in closer proximity to isolate a detailed howl or whistle.
UCS naming and metadata
I gave careful consideration to the file naming and metadata of the collection, keeping filenames short and concise while providing extra information in the metadata to help narrow search criteria.

The Beretta 1201 F sound effects library includes multi-take gunshots as well as performed effects.
The Beretta 1201 F sound effects library features firing and performed effects from a 1990 Italian semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun in 55 clips and 1.73 gigabytes of audio.
The collection includes 22 perspectives across 44 channels of audio (including an Ambisonic perspective) of firing, failed ranking movements, grabbing, handling, movement, rattling, and safety movements, and more. The gunshots were captured from close to over 150 distant from mono, stereo, up to 8-track Holophone recordings.
The sound library includes 18+ fields of Soundminer metadata, BWAV, and iXML metadata and MacOS Finder comments, as well as Pro Tools and Reaper sessions with all fx pre-aligned to allow editors to begin mixing and editing immediately.

Fully Universal Category System (UCS) compliant sound effects library of a 1992 Audi A4 V8 4.2 luxury car. This library offers detailed recordings of both, onboard and exterior microphone perspectives – 45 files, 1 h 6 min 24 sec, a total of 2.77gb (24bit/192khz).
The onboard recordings were captured with three microphones and feature Ignition start/off, Idles, Engine revs, drives at various speeds (slow, medium, fast and very fast), cruising and reversing.
The exterior recordings feature Idles, engine revs and pass bys at various speeds (slow, medium, fast and very fast). Pass by-s have both stereo and mono perspectives.
We also recorded various foley effects such as door/trunk/hood/glove compartment/sunroof open-close, seat adjustments, windows etc.
All files are recorded 32bit, 192 kHz, with RØDE NTG1, RØDELink Lav, FEL Clippy XLR EM272 and Sonorous Objects SO.3 microphones, Sound Devices MixPre-6 II & Zoom F3 recorders. Library contains wav files of driving, interior and exterior foley, mechanical and electrical sounds. It is also available in UCS.
The third installment of the Roomtones series features over 100 minutes of immersive Ambisonic soundscapes recorded during a holiday at a beach house. These soundscapes feature distant birds chirping, barking dogs, chatty neighbors, moderate to low traffic, intense fridge hum, and upstairs bumps. Additionally, quiet and neutral takes are provided to be filled later with additional content. Each division includes two different takes with open and closed windows (where applied), adding an extra dimension to these long and evolving sound files. They are perfect for creating both quiet and languid roomtone soundscapes, conveying multiple moods for any desired VR experience.

EUROPEAN SPRING captures the outdoor atmosphere of Europe. It contains different birds, frogs, and other wildlife captured in stunning detail. In general, Europe is much more temperate, while the United States has a much more< diverse palette.
Antique Clock Mechanism contains twenty-five sound files of a disassembled grandfather clock, including multiple chime takes recorded on the front and back of the mechanism itself, alongside handling sounds with a pendulum clanging about and simple thuds for additional foley details.

Unlike the previous volume, the sounds in this library were recorded worldwide over a period of 5 years.
We have taken great care in selecting and editing them to ensure they carry evocative and rich ‘airtones’.
In fact, they go beyond simple outdoor roomtones, often incorporating sounds of fauna, insects, local culture, and delicate flavorful sonic indications of time and location.
