Step into the heart of English lower league football with “Close Crowds: Football Terrace” — a collection of 233 high-quality sounds recorded at a small EFL League 2 game*. This diverse library captures the essence of small football stadiums in the English Football League, ranging from close reactions and individual shouts to smaller group dynamics and large crowd chants, all meticulously labelled with unique names for quick and easy integration into your project.
The smaller setting allowed for the capturing of more nuanced shouts and reactions, which can often be drowned out in larger stadiums. A personal favourite sound of ours is the CRWDSprt_English Football EFL League Fans Angry What Is He Doing Reaction_Decal Audio_ClsCrwdsFtbl file, you can hear the pain and frustration in their voice that us football fans are all too familiar with!
Ideal for sports-related productions, podcasts, audiobooks, documentaries, video games and more this library ensures that the excitement and intensity of English Football is brought to life with exceptional detail.

Introducing ‘Expressive Dogs,’ a canine sound effects library featuring 172 vocal expressions recorded at 96kHz/24 bit. Originating from a curated set of sounds recorded for a film project, where infusing character and emotion into the featured dog was paramount, these recordings have proven to be so versatile and impactful that we couldn’t resist sharing them with the world!
This extensive collection captures a diverse spectrum of expressive dog noises, ranging from playful grunts and impatient whines to heartwarming breaths and gentle whimpers. Whether you’re working on film projects, animations, or games, these high-quality recordings offer a great toolset of emotionally charged dog sounds to enhance and bring life and personality to your dog based projects.
As a side note rest assured that our beloved Session Dog, Paddy, was pampered and treated like the star he is during these recordings. It only takes a shake of his treat jar to get him singing – a testament to the joy and excitement behind each sound!
Natural Human Footsteps is a sound library that contains footsteps sequences recorded and edited in an interior foley studio.
No individual files per step, the files collect all iterations per each kind of performance, shoe and floor material. So you could choose how exactly slice and combine them as needed. It is also quite convenient for extracting extra sounds as shoe frictions, little moves and hits, very useful for animation transitions, starting and stopping moves…
There are 12 different floor materials, and up to 12 footstep performance/acting types for both boots and sneakers. Water material has no shoes, just bare feet, but it goes with different depths.
Natural sound, no saturation, hard EQ, compression, multiple layers or any effects applied at all, just some noise reduction (when needed) and level normalization by LUFS-S in different levels, by floor materials and footstep type. So you can start from a relative natural loudness level and apply whatever processing you feel right for your purpose.
All sounds recorded with a microphone Sennheiser MKH 416 and all files provided have 96kHz/24Bits resolution.
Compilation of 10 different subcompact supermini cars. This Old Object library contains edited and Raw recordings made with Sanken CO100K and Nevaton MC59 microphones for full spectral frequencies up to 70 kHz and beyond. Tortured metal surfaces screeching, old rusty profiles squeaking, dirty and gritty metal surfaces scraping, old wheels spinning and whining, mechanical pieces draining out their last screams… The Raw recordings allow you for more alternative movements, different squeaks, different speeds. All sounds are cleaned up but no effects have been applied so you can use them in any setting you want by adding your own fx.
The ultrasonic content can be used when the sounds are slowed down for eerie and spooky atmospheres. The original recordings can already be a torture to listen to, but why not go to the limits of what can be listened to, the story-line may ask for it.
This library is UCS compliant, has 24 bit 192 kHz sound files.
This sound FX library is part of a series of recordings available:

Upgrade to Twin 3 from Twin 2
Beautiful new interface and improved workflow
FabFilter has completely redesigned Twin 3’s interface and workflow, making it more immediately accessible, visually informative, and speedy to navigate than ever, and adding new scaling options and a luxurious Full Screen mode for taking its synth programming environment to the spatial extreme. Individual oscillators and filters can now be added and removed as required, every aspect of the filters is accessed and manipulated within a stunning interactive EQ-style display, and the darker color scheme is less tiring on the eyes over long sessions. Responsive per-oscillator oscilloscopes, a beautiful spectrogram, and full visualization of modulation signals throughout the signal path let users see everything they hear, while the floating slot panels group active modulation sources at each target control for collective tweaking.
Improved oscillators and filters
It all starts at the oscillators, and Twin 3 provides four of them — up from Twin 2’s three — with which to build synth sounds of limitless depth and intricacy. Completely overhauled and featuring analog-modelled drift for subtle random pitch and phase fluctuation, as well as pulse width modulation, hard sync, and phase sync, Twin 3’s oscillators are flawless in their analog authenticity. Polyphony has been given a boost, too, with an upgraded maximum of 64 voices — double the 32 of Twin 2 — and the Per Oscillator polyphony mode, which steps through the oscillators with each incoming note. Twin 3’s filters have been doubled in number from two to four and similarly enhanced, with new vintage-style Bell, Shelf, and Notch types delivering characterful non-linear distortion, and the 6dB/octave slope option and modulatable Cutoff/Peak Offset knobs opening up even more sound design possibilities. And for anyone demanding the absolute best from their Twin 3 patches, the new 4x oversampling High Quality mode is just a click away
Massive FX section and new Arpeggiator
Twin 3 introduces a supercharged new FX section, comprising six colorful processing modules for transforming and polishing signals. Shape dynamics and apply saturation with Compressor and Drive effects; create space and generate rhythmic echoes with Reverb and Delay; and thicken and widen the sound with Chorus and Phaser. Needless to say, every FX parameter is available as a modulation target, so users can really bring them to life using Twin 3’s Envelope Generators/Followers, XLFOs, XY controllers, Sliders, and MIDI sources. The new Arpeggiator, meanwhile, provides endless creative inspiration, with host sync, Groove/Legato, and Rate Offset controls, and the gamut of note value and order options.
Full-featured preset browser
Replacing the simple menu of previous versions, Twin 3’s slick new preset browser makes navigation and management of factory and user patches quick and easy. Within the browser’s streamlined interface, presets can be assigned freely editable tags for filtering within the Search engine, set as favorites, and given author names and text descriptions. If anyone has Twin 1 and/or 2 installed, then all of their presets will appear in Twin 3 as well.
Vintage phatness, out of the box
Twin 3 is very easy to program. With its four vintage-sounding oscillators, versatile filters and built-in, high quality effects section, it’s a breeze to create unique sounds. Using the new preset browser, you can type to search, tag presets and mark them as favorite, making it easy to find the sound you need.
Easy drag-and-drop modulation
With all the XLFOs, EGs, XY controllers, envelope followers and MIDI sources you will ever need, Twin 3 offers practically unlimited modulation possibilities. Even the built-in effects can all be modulated! Creating new modulation connections could not be easier: just drag and drop.

YOUR SECRET FOR REALISTIC TRAINS
We recorded train horns, pass bys, brakes, ambience, slack action and more from Amtrak, Passenger and Freight trains. After days of recording, we carefully edited and chose sounds we would use in our own projects. The unique and differentiated horn and horn doppler sounds alone are worth the cost of this library. Every file has Soundminer compliant metadata embedded, and an organized file naming structure. The 94 sounds in this collection will help you elevate your project and bring realism to any train scene.
All files are recorded 32bit, 192 kHz, with RØDE NTG1, RØDELink Lav and FEL Clippy XLR EM272 microphones, Sound Devices MixPre-6 II recorder. Library contains wav files of driving, interior and exterior foley, mechanical and electrical sounds. It is also available in UCS.
We travelled to several local Corn Fields in the UK and recorded the sound of corn stalks moving in the wind.
We recorded:
General Corn Field Ambiences
Corn Stalk Shakes
Corn Leaf Rubs
Run-bys through the Corn Field
Corn Stalk movement via the Korg CM300 contact Microphone
Corn Stalk movement via the LOM Geofon
This sample pack is great for use in any corn related project. There are also design opportunities with the Korg CM300 and the LOM Geofon to give texture to the corn or to create rumbles underneath the ambience layers. Sound of the Corn has been edited to allow a drop in ready and Royalty Free sample pack. These Samples can be used in a variety of projects from Sound Designing for TV, Film, Documentaries and Video Games. UCS Compliant and Metadata is attached to the samples
Submerge was created using a stereo hydrophone which recorded submerged and underwater sounds. We recorded various water sources from streams, rivers, waterfalls, showers and drains
We were able to record:
Drain water flow and movement with bubbles, gargling and draining sounds
Flow/Currents of Rivers and Streams moving
Impacts/Dunks and Splashes
and
Rock Movements under the water
Recording with a stereo hydrophone allowed us to captured unique and different sounds on both tracks, so for instance, left track was underwater but on the right track it had the sound of drips falling on to the Hydrophone from a water fall. Giving you options to split the audio for different tonalities, giving you more audio to work with for your said project.
Submerge has been edited to allow a drop in ready and Royalty Free sample pack. These Samples can be used in a variety of projects from Sound Designing through to Composing for a variety of projects such as TV, Film, Documentaries and Video Games.
With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
