  • Welcome to a sonic world of steampunk machinery and mechanisms that sound huge, gritty and full of character.

This sound library features carefully designed loops and elements of steampunk machinery, rotating wheels and mechanisms, chaotic and brutal impacts, huge levers and mechanical movement, rusty textures, air pressure, transitions and whooshes, peculier clocks, as well as a very rich source material pool recorded with an ultrasonic microphones setup and a contact microphones setup, providing exciting opportunities for blending huge up-close bass-filled sounding sources with detailed ultrasonic content.

Old broken lawn mower and typewriter, vintage bench grinder and knife sharpener, rusty old gates and various garden tools, table fans and chains were recorded focusing on creating motion for creative layering and morphing. The sound library centers around steampunk machinery and mechanical elements, however it is very flexible and can be used in a variety of scenarios.

Explore and layer meticulously edited source material or drag and drop designed sound effects – with plenty of experimentation and unique processing, this library introduces a fresh sound palette for steampunk soundscape of machinery and mechanisms for video games, films, trailers and animation.

This Sound Library is a part of the Slava Pogorelsky – Complete Bundle.

    WHAT SOUND PROFESSIONALS SAY:

Philip Eriksson – Audio Director (It Takes Two, Battlefield V, Star Wars: Battlefront I & II)
“Slava has some pretty kick ass sound libraries!”

Victor Mercader – AAA Sound Designer (Apex Legends)
“I find myself continuously using Slava’s SFX libraries to blend it’s pristine and detailed sound designs into my own sounds. They always add that cutting edge I am missing and make my sound designs more unique and pristine.”

Enos Desjardins – Sound Designer/Sound Effects Editor (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Mirror)
“Slava has been creating some really cool libraries which I find myself using time and again. Really high quality recordings to start with but then the cool processing he has used for example in his cinematic whoosh libraries really stand out. They are not just your standard generic whoosh sounds but are loaded with character and have a unique feel to them that is really fresh and cuts through in the nicest of ways.”

Bjørn Jacobsen – AAA Sound Designer (CyberPunk 2077, HITMAN, DARQ)
“Slava has for several years made high quality sound effects for me to play with. I use his sound libraries across multiple projects as lego blocks of my creations.”

  • An entire hour of fireworks recordings from various urban locations. These recordings were captured using the Sony PCM-D100 and Zoom H3-VR, offering two distinct audio perspectives. The directionality of the recorded content can be modified using ambisonic signals.
For convenience, 59 edited files were created from the raw recordings.

I recommend using the DearVR Ambi Micro ambisonic decoder for the H3-VR files.

Suddenly a reverberating splash breaks the rhythmic chorus of frogs and crickets as a caiman finds its evening meal, the first of many tonight. Giving a greater sense of space to this Amazonian lake the eyes of the caiman go on glowing, waiting for an unsuspecting fish to pass their open mouths.

Near and distant, there is a spectacular spaciousness and an intimacy that can only come from this unique location.
