“Slush and Wet Streets” is a library that contains 34 tracks (92 minutes total) that are recorded in winter urban environments. You will hear sounds of passing cars and people on slush, wet or snow-covered streets.
Atmospheres are recorded at different times of the day and night and at various locations. There are ambiences in the collection that track urban traffic at varying intensities, from an almost empty street with 1 or 2 pass by cars to busy traffic on a wet boulevard. Also, microphones are placed in different positions, from 2m to 30m from moving cars.
You will encounter sounds of people who walk in slush and snow, voices and other sounds typical of the winter urban environment. The library was recorded in Sofia, Bulgaria. All files are meta-tagged in Soundminer.
Gear used: Neumann KM184st, Rode NT4, Edirol R4pro.
Enjoy the winter streets.
Factory Ambiences features sounds from the largest laminate factory in Europe.
It has huge production lines where laminate of all types is manufactured by almost completely automated machineries and robotics.
The library contains 64 stereo takes gathered at 31 spots inside the main production hall and from across the factory premises.
These sounds don't explain laminate production sound-wise but deliver universal factory ambiences instead.
All files are BWF-metatagged, relevant informations can be seen with Soundly, Basehead, Resonic or Windows Explorer / OSX Finder. Additonally the download contains spreadsheets in all relevant formats.

This is a collection of sounds recorded at various locations in London, UK. Recordings of landmarks such as Trafalgar Square and Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben), various London streets, and green spaces are all featured, totalling 127 minutes of ambisonic audio, with an average length of 6 mins 22 seconds.
The files have been decoded to AmbiX, but can be converted to FuMa with the free Ambi Converter from Noise Makers, or decoded to any format from mono to 7.1.2 Atmos using Harpex-X or the free Røde Soundfield plug-in.
No noise reduction has been used, apart from on the recording of Big Ben, and the unprocessed version is also included.
Domestic Drones is a collection of 34 distorted and disturbing drones not for the faint-hearted. Each drone was created from recordings of domestic appliances and household items, such as fans, ventilation, taps, kettles and even coffee machines. Each one was then torn apart and treated using the finest plugins (and no virtual instruments) creating a collection of winds, howls, mechanical textures and alien winds.

The library contains 20 files (WAV, 24 Bit / 96 kHz), 10 variations each, summing a total of 200 sfx.
As a bonus I included the sources (32 sfx) used to create the sounds in the library.

For this sound effects library, we traveled across Alaska, from the extreme north to the south coast to capture the spirit of these nordic and wild landscapes: Boreal forests, arctic and alpin tundras, glaciers, rivers, and lakes.
Here the soundscapes reflect the extreme weather conditions: Silent ambiances punctuated by the elements: Wind, snow, rain, serving the erosion.
In this wilderness, animals remain discreet. We had the chance to capture many birds with our microphones: Owls, ducks, seagulls, trumpeter swans, bald eagles, common ravens, migratory birds, and many other species – and a few other animals: Hoary marmots, arctic marmots, squirrels and moose.

This library is a collection of a wide variety of sounds recorded with high quality equipment over the past few years.
Most of the sounds are field recordings or otherwise raw without any processing such as noise removal, EQ or compression, but still mostly curated and edited so that it’s fast to start using them in your projects.
To celebrate the end of one era I decided to put together most of my recordings as one library, it’s including recordings with different techniques – from the electromagnetic fields of iPhone and a contact-mic’d sewing machine, to ORTF-stereo atmospheres of greenhouses, and gardens full of crickets recorded in ambisonic, and much more. 45 GB of material should cover your needs for some time :)
I hope it’s useful as a source of ready-to-use sound effects, but also as material and inspiration for something more. High quality and high sample rates allow you to manipulate the sounds a lot without losing their energy. Have fun with the library!

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
