Alchemy of Blades is a comprehensive weapon laboratory of single layers made to be mixed, assembled and fit with each other.
We built the library as an array of modular blocks, designed to be mixed and matched according to everyone’s specific formula, primarily serving as building tools for designing kinesis and special effects on your blade sounds, but it can be very well be used for spells and futuristic weapons.
We also included a bonus folder containing the Xfer Serum presets we made while working on the samples.
Recorded by pioneer of film sound design, Ann Kroeber, the Ann’s Animals library showcases a unique variety of animal sounds and vocalizations. Including common, wild, and exotic creatures – ranging from pigs and frogs to capuchin monkeys, caribou and more – this special collection is equally useful and inspiring for practical sound editing and creative sound design.
Animal recordings play a significant role in Kroeber’s sonic legacy, and she is widely celebrated for her natural approach and incredibly expressive results. Her sense of presence with the animals and finely tuned listening shines through in these sounds – from the gentle, subtle breaths and purrs of cheetahs to a sprawling chorus of jungle frogs. Create thoughtful and powerful creature designs with these characteristic animal roars, shrieks, snorts, cries, buzzes, and more.
Following the acclaimed sound libraries Cinematic Winds, Industrial Sounds with Soul, Stallion, and Beautiful Bugs, Ann’s Animals is the fifth exclusive release by Pro Sound Effects curated from Sound Mountain: Kroeber’s venerable private recording collection created over decades of film sound work with her late husband, Alan Splet. Kroeber has since worked on or supplied sounds for film, television, and games – including 6 movies that won an Academy Award® in sound, and 7 additional nominations.
Each sound file in this library is embedded with rich, detailed metadata to help you find the exact sound effect you need with descriptions that that go beyond the literal to detail the emotional power of these unique recordings. Ann’s Animals is also included in Pro Sound Effects’ CORE: Standard.

The Infographic SFX Library contains more than 480 sound effects ready to use within your infographic animation, presentation or education and infotainment videos.
The sounds are also suitable for Game or UI design.
The Library consists of 4 main categories: Info_Elements (containing 7 Subcategories), Info Whooshes, Misc_Organic_and_Mechanic and Pencil_and_Paper.
The main folder Info_Elements is subdivided into the folders Bubble Pops, Alters_Beeps_and_Bells, Counter, Up_and_Down, Clicks_and_Buttons, Notifications and Vibrating. These Sounds are your Building Blocks for Infographics per se. Charts growing, Elements appearing, Data counting etc.
The other main folders contain either elements to link between sheets of data (e.g. with whoosh sounds) or are additional sound sources to make your animation come to life, with pencil scratches, paper tears or recordings of tape machines or photo cameras and many more.
All sounds are available as WAV files in 44,1kHz 16bit for direct use in your projects.
Sigil is a unique library of dark, gritty, raw, and eerie textures and tones made from one-of-a-kind handmade electro-acoustic instruments and found objects created by sound designer and musician Nathan Moody.
Sigil provides an edgy set of layers that are rich with organic complexity: Skittery bows on handmade string instruments; “prepared” string tones and textures, bowed and rubbed springs under tension; salvaged rusty metal tubes; perforated steel gongs; aluminum water bottle bells; and deep, resonant handmade percussion instruments. Textures include chugs, shrieks, groans, drones, bounces, peals, and rattles. The sounds range from blissfully musical to horrifyingly atonal, and are equally at home lending an uneasy tone to either avant garde musical works or multi-layered sound effects, especially in thriller or horror genres.
The organic nature of the Sigil library means that its sounds hold up well to extreme processing like pitch shifting and granular resynthesis. The handmade nature of the instruments used means that there’s no other library quite like it.
The recordings were made with a variety of pickups, contact microphones, and traditional microphones, through various high-end “character” mic preamps selected uniquely per microphone and per instrument. Full details are in the library’s documentation.
This collection was recorded at 24 bits, 96 kHz and includes over three hours of recordings with more than 600 individual sounds, all fully tagged with metadata. Multiple articulations and voicing are ganged into single files for convenience and organization.
Shuffle the deck. Deal and play. Now it’s your turn to dominate the board. Sound like top grossing mobile and console card style games with Card Game.
Need electric sounds such as sparks, current flows and electric arcs? Electronic Drain is a collection of electric and electronic sources specifically designed for movies, audio logos and trailers. The library includes new and experimental sound material generated using the most cutting-edge digital signal processing techniques.
Providing digital, organic, raw and designed sounds Electronic Drain delivers a rich sonic complexity and a wide range of possible variations. Sounds have been further processed and looped in Kontakt to offer a larger number of possible combinations.
Electronic Drain comes with 1.1 GB and 300 .Wav files + 11 Kontakt instruments. The Kontakt instruments require the full Kontakt 5 or higher – the .wav files can be used without Kontakt.
Analog TV gets you 99 recordings from the Tele Star 4004 TV, built in the 80s in Leningrad/Russia. The collection features everything from a range of noises, frequency glitches, short pulses, and long frequency sweeps in the VHF and UHF bands. It also comes with a good collection of different static noises and really weird stuff that could – and just might – come from outer space.
Ultrasquish is an ultrasonic-rich library of squishes and squeezes, optimized for radical pitch shifting. It contains around 40 minutes of 192-kHz, UCS-compliant, icky goodness. Each file contains long takes with many variations, ideal for interactive content. From silly squishes to horrific scenes, Ultrasquish simply oozes usefulness.
The performances of squished and squeezed water, gel, goo, and air begin as sharp, crisp, and immediately useful assets for representing cartoony action, sticky props, mud, blood, viscera, critical hits, or finishing moves. But once pitched down, they reveal creature growls, monstrous heartbeats, gurgling zombie breaths, gloopy footstep sweeteners, colossal digestive tracts, slimy monster movements, and bubbling alien slimescapes. A set of designed sounds are included to showcase the potential uses of the library, and for immediate use in quick-turnaround projects.
All sounds were recorded in extreme close-up perspective with both a hypercardioid microphone and an ultrasonic-capable omni microphone, blended together for a punchy, full-range tone while preserving ultrasonic detail (reaching as high as 70 to 100 kHz, depending on the prop or material being recorded).
Humaninal Mimicry is a handy collection of human vocalizations mimicking the sound of animals.
These naturally-sounding samples are useful for shaping expressive creature sounds.
Tens of actors were involved in the process, but also one metal singer. Recorded up to 192KHz with Sanken Co-100k, or 96KHz. Included are more than 60 various animals (imitated) such as Eagle, Koala, Tiger, Whale, Seal, Crane, Gopher, Dolphin, Elephant, Lion, Crow, Goose, Camel, Bear, Horse, Frog, Platypus, Raccoon, Seagull, Honey Badger, Squirrel, Wolf, Monkey,…
The sounds delivered are well edited and meta-tagged. These are crisp, easy, and malleable sounds that will enrich your existing collection.
Alternatively, these sounds can also be used for cartoon or comical effects.
Singing bowl is a type of metal or glass/crystal bell that vibrates and produces a rich, deep tone when played. Also known as Himalayan or Tibetan, singing bowls are used in meditation and yoga practice.
Singing bells are very useful in sound design and music production, because of rich and slowly evolving tones and textures.
For this library I recorded metal and crystal singing bowls in many different sizes.
Also, several polyphonic performances, played by trained yoga-master, are included as a bonus.
Articulated presents here a careful collection of 100 Electric Fans, HVAC, AHU, and Mechanical Drones. After months of capture, we recorded, selected, and edited this unique library featuring rich, varied, and useful assets ready-to-use for any game or movie project.
These sounds can serve to inspire life inside environments, provide industrial tones, domestic houses, or back alleys, setting moods or atmospheres. They can also serve as elements to design mechanical machine or engine sounds.
The sonic quality extends a large spectrum from clean, modern, to old and rusty, on rooftop, indoor, flush ceiling-mounted, Bathroom extractor, or floor stand; along with many flavours like metal, plastic, smooth or raspy rattles with gurgling wobbles. Some of the Sounds have useful varied point of perspectives (Close-up, distance), and most of them are ‘loopable’.
WHAT’S INSIDE:
124 stereo files
Highly focused and meticulously edited sounds

The majority of recordings contain both a stereo MS decoded and ORTF version. The midside has a narrower stereo image whilst the ORTF provides a wider version.
“I love the variety of the elevators, they’re real, heavy and dirty and you can hear the grit and dust in the cogs. The reverberant buttons and room tones are super useful too’
Anna Bertmark – Sound Designer/Supervising Sound Editor
“fantastic stuff all around and definitely not only for literal elevator scenes, tons of interesting metal shakes, scrapes, squeaks and rumble, bravo!”
Michal Fojcik – Supervising Sound Editor/Re-recording Mixer

The Car Doors library gets you 78 mono door open/close sounds from 30 cars, and 6 car trunks, with multiple passes on each for soft and hard closes – all metadata tagged and ready to go!
Before the poor things were being torn apart for spares and placed on top of each other, I had the pleasure of recording a lot of their doors, opening and closing. As they were rubbish anyway, I could really put all my weight into the closing, and not being scared of the consequences. The sounds are from everyday cars, and some had a bit of rattle and rust, or cheap and thin kind of sound to them, others had some nice, heavy, and convincing thump, to them when they closed.

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
