With modern capture equipment, we can record these fields in an audible range for the human ear; Opening doors to a world of fascinating and weird sounds.

We went capturing various appliances and electrical gadgets around the house. We collected incredible noises with many glitches, hum, crackles… These are great source of abstract, processing data, futuristic or broken technology. A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
